We had exceptional moments and fantastic stay at Al Maaden villa hotel. The villa was perfect, clean and quiet. The stuff was very professional and very friendly. Well recommended for couple, family and kids. I will return definitely soon. Thanks for the warm welcome.

We had an amazing time. Our riad was beautiful and a lot of space. Our 2 kids had the time of their life in our private pool. The staff was very kind and friendly. The riad was clean. I can recommend it if you want an amazing private time and quiet and still close to the center of Marrakech.

A Weekend Ruined — A 5-Star Hotel in NAME ONLY ! We booked a two-night stay in a villa for four people, expecting a relaxing family weekend in Marrakech. Unfortunately, our experience turned into a complete disaster. Knowing we had family living in Marrakech, we planned a simple lunch and dinner around the villa pool with a few relatives — without any overnight guests. To our shock, the hotel staff abruptly informed us at reception that all external visitors were strictly forbidden, even with the presence and agreement of the registered villa guests. We calmly explained our intentions to management, clarified that our guests were not staying overnight, and pointed out that nowhere in the hotel’s policies — online, at booking, or physically displayed — was this restriction mentioned. Despite this, management remained inflexible and dismissive, completely ignoring both logic and customer service. Feeling humiliated and deeply disappointed, we decided to cut our stay short after just one night and requested a refund for the unused night. To make matters worse, the hotel flatly refused any form of reimbursement. The disappointment didn’t stop there. The villa itself was in an appalling state: • The villa reeked of sewage. • We found dead cockroaches and ants in the rooms — unacceptable at any level of hospitality. • The electric heater was completely rusted and corroded — a disgrace in a so-called luxury property. As if this wasn’t enough, the staff at the Reception were unpleasant. Our invited family members were treated like intruders — followed by security guards and forced to remain in the parking lot, even after we gave permission as villa residents. The behavior was intrusive, and completely unworthy of any hotel, let alone one claiming five-star status. We will never return and strongly advise anyone seeking genuine hospitality, transparency, or basic cleanliness and respect to stay far away from this establishment. What a shame.

The private pool 🏊‍♂️ and tranquil surroundings made the villa feel like a true sanctuary. We especially loved the evening barbecue 🍢 set up near the swimming pool – as the sun set and the villa lights came on, the atmosphere became even more magical ✨ and peaceful . The service was a real highlight 💯. Special thanks to Mr. Mehadi and Mr. Adil, the villa managers, who went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.Their warm hospitality made our stay feel truly special. The food was outstanding 🍽️ — the morning breakfast was a generous spread of both full English and Middle Eastern options, including fresh fruits 🍉, juices, and a wide variety of dishes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The spa treatments were top-tier 💆 – deeply relaxing and rejuvenating, delivered by professional staff in a serene setting. We also appreciated the little gym,the long scenic walking track, and the lush greenery 🌴 that surrounded the property. Room service was excellent — always prompt and delivered with a friendly smile 😊. We truly can’t recommend this place enough 🌟. Whether you’re looking for a romantic escape, a peaceful retreat, or a luxurious family getaway, Al Maaden Villa Hotel & Spa is a hidden gem 💎 you won’t want to leave. It offers the perfect balance of relaxation, comfort, and elegance. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! ✈️

It’s a beautiful villa with nice people, however, our room had sewer issues, giving up a very bad sewer smell that was uncomfortable. The rooms also had lots ants as well. The staff tried to help but their efforts did not make a difference because the room had fundamental issues, sewer smell can’t be fixed with air fresheners. The smell was so uncomfortable, I slept on the couch for the most part and had to buy diffusers to make our stay bearable.

The biggest joke ever is that this hotel is supposed to have 5 stars. The riads stink of feces, and they try to cover up this smell with a cleaning agent that is far too strong and irritates the mucous membranes. The upholstery inside and out is so dirty that you feel disgusted to sit down anywhere. The bed linen and pillows are dirty with stains, and old plastic couch cushions with covers on them were used as bed bases in our room. The curtains are not properly fastened and are hanging from individual hooks on the ceiling. The breakfast room is a mess. Dirty tables and overwhelmed service. The former pool in front of the lobby has become an empty, ugly concrete area. We booked and paid for a week and moved out after the first night without a refund. We received no response to our query as to whether the hotel would refund part of the rates paid as a gesture of goodwill and due to the condition of the hotel. Stay away from there.

I love Al Maaden and this was our second time! On the second occasion we had few issues with the villa and the staff happily changed to a different villa. They also offered us with a free lunch for the inconvenience which was a good gesture. We really appreciate Mr Tarik who was very helpful in trying to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We will be visiting again! Highly recommended.
