An airport of the future — for now, filled mostly with silence.
Officially, this is the site of what’s promised to become the world’s largest airport.
In reality — there are five departures a day. And hundreds of empty chairs.
📍 What’s great:
• Immense space, natural light, and absolute quiet. No queues. No noisy announcements.
• The waiting area feels like a scene from a retro-futuristic film — red and green seats in perfect order, and no one around.
• All formalities run smoothly: security, gates, boarding — no stress.
• A surprisingly peaceful place to transit or just pause between moments.
📉 What’s strange:
− The terminal feels half-finished. No cafés, no shops, no lounges.
− Just five flights on the board — mainly Pobeda, Flynas, and Fly Cham.
− Feels more like an ambitious sketch than a fully realized airport (yet).
✈️ If you see this place as a threshold space, DWC offers a meditative, surreal experience.
If you’re expecting action, energy, or anything that feels like “Dubai” — it may confuse you.
📸 Photos included: live departures screen, empty waiting hall, dock access at the water.
