Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Delicious food, casual setting. Delish!!! Very reasonable prices. And great veggie options!

I had high expectations from Al Mallah given its reputation and the pricing—AED 9 for a shawarma is definitely above the usual rate in the Satwa area. I ordered two, assuming I’d be getting value for the price. Unfortunately, I was disappointed the moment I received the food. The shawarma was surprisingly small and did not justify the higher cost. What truly alarmed me was the poor hygiene and food handling practices I witnessed. The staff preparing the food was only wearing one glove on the right hand—which looked torn and dirty—while the left hand was completely bare. Worse, I noticed sweat from his arm coming into contact with the food. This raises serious food safety concerns, as there were no visible measures in place to control the temperature of vegetables and sauces either. To add to the experience, the service was very poor. When I politely asked for ketchup, I was simply dismissed and told to walk to another door to get it myself. There was no regard for customer service or cleanliness. Overall, my visit was extremely disappointing. Poor hygiene, lack of food safety protocols, and unprofessional service make it hard to recommend this place to anyone. I hope management seriously considers improving their standards, especially if they wish to continue charging premium prices.

I saw an ad saying that Al Mallah taste just like before, but unfortunately, all I could smell was the uncooked wheat and the zaater oil, spelt all over my dress from the packet. I could not even taste it because the wheat smell was too strong . It was not even wrapped as before, at first, I thought it wasa Shawarma the bread was thick. 😭

Visited Al Mallah at Al Diyafa, Satwa. The food taste is acceptable, but the pricing does not match the overall experience. A small plate of hummus costs 18 AED with a very small portion, and a soft drink can is charged at 7 AED, which is significantly higher than similar restaurants in the same area. Unfortunately, the ambience is below average and the service quality was poor. The staff were not attentive, and their attitude felt unwelcoming, which affected the dining experience. High prices can be understandable when supported by excellent service, location, or atmosphere, but none of these were present during our visit. Compared to other restaurants in Satwa, this place offers low value for money. Overall, overpriced for the quality and service provided. There is significant room for improvement in customer service and pricing transparency.

Popped into Al Mallah on a whim and walked out pleasantly full and mildly pickled (thanks to the endless sides). We had the hummous, fattoush, and a mixed grill that came with their pickles and fluffy kuboos. Was it mind-blowing? Nah. But was it tasty? Absolutely. Everything was solid, well-seasoned, and arrived quicker than my willpower disappears near shawarma. For the price, it's an absolute steal in Dubai terms — proper value for money. Great spot if you're after a no-fuss feed that won't bankrupt you.

The outdoor eating space was great. The staff were very helpful in guiding on the menu options. They even offered different pickles for starters. Great choice of drinks as well. If you happen to book a hotel with bed and breakfast along Al Mina Street this is definitely one of the places you can easily walk to and enjoy a meal and later do some shopping in the surrounding shops

It’s not easy to find a good restaurant opening 24 hours, but Al Mallah is. The first time I came here was only to drink juice. The big glass has been already given me a deep impression. The second time we ordered the grilled platter. The taste was not bad. If lamb chop can be more tender, that will be better. But the whole experience is nice. Service and atmosphere were also acceptable. One suggestion is the menu. If you can point out which dishes can be recommended. This will be more understandable for the people who are not often eating Arabic food.😊

Don't be fooled by the pictures in the app. What is this? You sent me a lot of food in the picture. What you sent me is child's food, not adult food. I'm really sorry for you. I'm sorry for the money I paid for this food.
