I had a deep tissue massage with the Turkish therapist, Ms. Sezen, after hearing about her from friends, and it was truly exceptional. Her technique was precise and effective, and she clearly has great talent in this field. From the moment she welcomed me, her positive energy and professionalism made me feel comfortable and relaxed. During the session, she used excellent techniques that completely relieved the pain in my back. I would also like to thank Ms. Oumeyma at the reception for her kind assistance and Ms Fatima’s support. The spa itself is beautiful, clean, and well-organized — a truly wonderful experience overall. The spa is very large and you can easily get lost inside :)) It was a magnificent experience.

I’ve been a member since the gym opened in 2019, and it has been an amazing experience from day one. It truly is the best gym, with an excellent pool and spa. The staff are wonderful—from the cleaning team to the management—always friendly and professional. The entire place is consistently clean, calm, and well-maintained. The trainers are highly skilled, and the classes are always enjoyable and effective. It’s genuinely the best fitness experience I’ve had, and that’s why I continue renewing my membership year after year.

I had such a wonderful experience at Al Messila Spa! The spa attendant, “Sweet” was extremely kind, helpful, and so sweet like ger name. She even took beautiful pictures for me and I feel like I gained a new friend during my trip to Qatar. I truly had a great time with her and really appreciate her warm hospitality.🥰

Trying to cut costs at every corner and it reached a ridiculous extent..I’m an annual member and each week it gets worse. I wish they knew how to be an actual luxury resort where they prioritize the members and train their staff better but all this management cares about is the money not the satisfaction of the client.

Best and largest Spa in Doha. This place has been an absolute oasis for me, signing for an anual membership has been the best investment for my health. After injuring my shoulder in a ski accident Al Messila Spa staff and facilities have been an important key in my recovery, what a caring people. Spa staff: what a fantastic team, always very welcoming with a great attitude and excellent Service standards. Thank you Gail for all your help and recommendations while signing for the membership. Spa facilites: Largest spa for ladies in Doha, countless saunas with different temperatures, steam baths, pools, jacuzzies, hydrotherapy pools, relaxation rooms, salt cave, infra red sauna, etc All are very well kept and maintained with high standards. Very relaxing environment, nice music, treatments are excellent, had great massages in beautiful treatment rooms. They have a mixed gym very complete and also a separate only ladies gym. The list of facilities is endless, if you look for a great relaxing experience you can buy a spa day pass for a trial. Thank you Al Messila Spa Team for making this place very special

The spa is a peaceful and relaxing place, and the gym is notably large compared to most hotel gyms. The indoor pool is adequate, and the hot and cold plunge pools are a nice addition. the main concern is maintenance and hygiene. Many of the showers are either not working properly, have broken locks, or occasionally lack hot water. Towels are often scarce and not cleaned properly. Overall, the management gives the impression of excessive cost-cutting, which does not align with the standards expected from a five-star spa.

Where to begin. Just yesterday I excitedly booked a hammam package over the phone after seeing an offer on their website that included either a Turkish or Ritual Hammam plus a relaxation or deep tissue massage. I requested the Ritual Hammam and planned to choose the massage type upon arrival. I also asked to use the spa facilities and was told I’d have access as a spa guest. I arrived early and was directed to the changing room by the receptionist outside the spa. After changing, I waited, but no one came to guide me or offer a tour, despite my prior request to use the facilities and mentioning it was my first visit. The spa has extensive amenities that clearly require orientation, yet no staff were available inside to assist. I had to leave the spa and return to the front desk to ask about my treatment. The hammam therapist didn’t explain the process or what was included. Although I had booked the Ritual Hammam, she performed a Moroccan Hammam instead. I only realized this afterward when I didn’t receive the detoxifying body wrap that’s part of the Ritual Hammam. She claimed the package only includes the Moroccan Hammam, contradicting both the website and my phone booking. The scrubbing was very light and missed key areas, leaving my skin unchanged. I had mentioned it had been a year since my last hammam, but this didn’t seem to affect the treatment. The massage that followed was decent except for the back, where the therapist repeatedly applied pressure directly to my shoulder blade, which was painful and incorrect technique. Throughout my visit, the spa felt understaffed. Reception desks inside were empty, and staff were hard to find. When I asked about the jacuzzi, an employee showed me an unheated pool with jets and said they didn’t have a heated pool—despite being told otherwise on the phone. Overall, the experience was disappointing. The treatments were overpriced, the staff are poorly trained, and customer service was lacking. I seriously have no idea how they won those awards.
