🌿 Al Noor Island, Sharjah – A Calm Escape Amid Nature 🦋 I recently visited Al Noor Island with my family for my brother’s engagement photoshoot, and it turned out to be a peaceful, scenic retreat from the usual rush of life. While not overcrowded, the island had a pleasant number of visitors — giving it both liveliness and space to breathe. 🎟️ Entry is ticketed, and you need to purchase it before entering. The island itself isn’t too big or too small, but just the right size to explore slowly and mindfully. For someone like me, who enjoys nature deeply, this place felt like a sanctuary. The soothing sounds of birds, gentle breeze, and calm water create a meditative atmosphere. There's also a small Butterfly Garden, a cozy café, and other artistic installations that add to the charm. Although there’s no big playground ( playground for kids are there ) or adventurous attractions, it’s an ideal spot for readers, writers, couples, or anyone seeking peace and solitude. If you’re someone who enjoys nature without distractions, Al Noor Island is a perfect pick. 🪴 A natural, soulful space where you can spend hours without even checking the time.

I’ve visited this place twice — once in the evening and once during the day. Personally, I enjoyed the afternoon visit more. The place is peaceful and green, with the sound of birds and a refreshing sea breeze. I really enjoyed just walking around and would love to come back more often. There are swings by the sea where you can sit, relax, watch the waves, and simply enjoy the moment. The area also has a café and a playground. It would be even better if there were more beach access and benches, but overall, it's a lovely spot to unwind.

It's a wonderful place to visit if you want to get out of the city noise and hassle. The place makes you feel like home, brings you peace and serenity. It's a good place to go for a walk and relax. I just hope that they make a bigger place for the butterflies and implement rules that doesn't disturb and hurt the butterflies. The room was full packed when we went there, kids are running, picking up the flowrrs and trying to catch the butterflies, no one was trying to control the crowd. Let's enjoy the beauty of the place without destroying it.

One of the main highlights of the island is the Butterfly House, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The architectural design of the structure is stunning, and inside, you're greeted by hundreds of vibrant butterflies fluttering freely around a lush, tropical environment. It's an enchanting experience for children and adults alike, both educational and magical. Walking trails wind through the island, offering shaded spots to relax and admire sculptures, reflective pools, and themed gardens. It’s an ideal spot for photography, quiet walks, or simply sitting and enjoying nature. Staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was very well maintained. Entry fees are reasonable, and the experience feels curated and special, not crowded or commercialized. Whether you're a tourist or a local, Noor Island is a must visit for a peaceful day out.
