Al Porto

We went for pizza and had several varieties among our group. They were tasty, but probably could have stayed in the oven a few more minutes. Drinks and service were good and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Food was good but overpriced for what it is. Live music was nice but too loud for a restaurant; if you couldn’t point to it on the menu then there was only 50/50 chance the server understood you (that’s how I ended up with a virgin rum punch? Still confused about that one).

The Grilled Lobster was delicious! Large portion. Can't beat the ambiance of on the water at the harbor. Our server was great!

Absolutely LOVE this place. We've visited Jolly Harbour for the last 10 years and this is one of our favorite places to eat. Great staff and the food is always fresh. Fantastic atmosphere and scenery. We can't wait to go back again in 2026.

We had two wonderful meals here. The first night my wife and I shared the garlic bread. I had the meat lasagna and my wife had fettuccine carbonara. All of it was delicious. While we weee there the first night we wondered why we were seeing all of these amazingly delicious looking pizzas going out. Well come to find out is was Wednsday night pizza night with discounted pizzas. We went back the next night to try the pizza. It did not disappoint. I would recommend the restaurant.

When calling for reservation, apparently one needs to request a table . Being a turists we had no idea what is a custom and we missed that step. After we tied dinghy on their dock, It took a moment for the staff to sets us up. Ambiance is nice. Cool breeze from water helps. Staff is attentive and patient. Appetizers are a bit small to share with whole table, but plenty for individual serving. Plating of each dish was done with care and attention to esthetics of presentation. Food was tasty and prepared with care. Fish was good and prepared as requested. I was specially impressed with vegetables: I could taste distinct flavor of each piece that was cooked to perfect texture and briliant color artistically presented on warm plates. Deserts just continued being a well composed symphony of clear and distinct flavors and textures so waiting few minutes till they make them to order is worth the time. I feel gratitude to our hosts and staff for great experience.

The BEST staff & food on the island in our opinion! The owner came up & talked to us the very first night we were there. The pizza & pasta is truly amazing. The cream sauce is perfection. We ended up eating there 3 nights on our trip & it was phenomenal every single time. I highly highly recommend this adorable little spot in Jolly Harbour! Make sure you make a reservation or you won’t get a table!

We had a wonderful experience at Al Porto! It was easy to reserve on WhatsApp. Pulling up right to their dock on the dinghy was great. When we got there there were many tables available and we were initially, given a table away from the view. Since it was my birthday, I wanted something a little more special. At first, they said, we could not have a table closer to the water.Because we didn't request it. Vladimir quo I did not know that that was something you had to do. Fortunately, after saying, no, initially, they accommodated us with a better table. The food was really good.Everything came out hot and was very flavorful. We all ordered two different fishes of the day.One of the tunas was a little bit overcooked, but still very tasty. The lobster fritters were also tasty.But very tiny servings, so don't expect too much. The tiramisu was exceptional as well as the bread pudding.
