Food is great and also location, selection of beers is extremely limited (one) some staff are totally ineffective others need to allow customers to finish a plate/drink before removing it. In general for the price paid service is one star but after complaining to management they did their best to rectify so I doubled my rating.

Al Qasr brunch at Jumeirah Al Qasr hotel is a culinary journey worth embarking on. From the moment you step in, the ambiance captivates with its elegant Arabian charm. The extensive buffet offers a plethora of dishes ranging from traditional Arabic delicacies to international favorites, ensuring there's something for everyone. The seafood selection is particularly impressive, featuring fresh catches prepared to perfection. The live cooking stations add a delightful interactive element, allowing guests to customize their meals to their liking. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring your glass is always full and your plate never empty. Whether you're a food enthusiast or simply looking for a luxurious dining experience, Al Qasr brunch delivers on all fronts, making it a must-visit destination for brunch aficionados in Dubai.

I had previously had brunch at Al Qasr many years ago and it was brilliant! So I was expecting the same quality. The venue and atmosphere is very nice with everyone dressed up in their Sunday best 😁. The service and the staff are super friendly and attentive, I've got nothing but praise for them. The food selection is not over the top, however there's a nice selection of a bit of everything, alao the food quality is high. For some very bizarre reason the room became very hot maybe 20 minutes into the brunch. We asked the manager if they could turn on the AC, and we were told it's on full blast, however because they are at full capacity the room is too hot to cool. This seems like a crazy excuse. So for the remaining 3.5 hours we were all sweating as it was boiling hot in the room. The ice sculpture was melting and the water dripping on the floor. Someone was cleaning it up every so often. The desserts are very poor, the only way I can describe it is as supermarket quality. Which is very surprising. For drinks I tried watermelon and fresh mint and lemon. Honestly it didn't taste fresh and was too watered down. Overall I think it was a 3.5 out of 5. The price of 450 Aed per person for a non alcoholic package is a bit too much for what you get in my opinion. I don't think I would go back in a hurry.

What a brunch, this is a truly special event and one I will never forget. It started with Veuve Clicquot Bellinis handed to us on arrival, whilst a waiter took us to our table outside (in the shade which we requested). In an absolutely beautiful setting with the Burj Al Arab in the background. We went for the house beverage package which came included with very expensive wine and a huge array of cocktails using high end spirits. But the star of the show is of course the food, so much to talk about but think the likes of oysters, lobster, sushi, wagyu, beef wellington, fine cheeses, an unlimited box of chocolates, and much more!

Food is acceptable but the service is awful. Do not trust manager William Hobbs. He offered to resolve an error by his own staff (who failed to follow simple instructions to split the bill, and also failed to explain supplementary charges and charged them anyway). However, once we'd left, William did not follow through on the partial refund he promised to fulfill and stopped communicating after a month. Do not let William Hobbs try to persuade you he'll make things right... He won't! Best to avoid this brunch to avoid staff like William Hobbs.

I’ve been to Brunch here a few times before. I stopped going as it used to be much larger until a few years ago when they reduced the size, after which, it just didn’t have the same wow factor as before. Having read a recent review in TimeOut which said it was back to its former glory, I decided to give it another go. The greeting at the entrance was friendly and a drink was offered but no description of its contents was given - it turned out to be something made with what tasted like grapefruit juice - unfortunately this has an adverse effect on the medicine I have to take. Of course, as I hadn’t been told what it was, I didn’t know that until I began to drink it. I was seated outside with my wife on a table for two, just outside the entrance to one of the restaurants and just around the corner from the Bbq stations. This resulted in a bit of dodging and weaving with the other guests when leaving and returning to the table as they went to and from the inside food stations. The other problem was the breeze, which regularly took the smoke from the Bbq station and threw it all over us. We left with smelly hair and clothes. Previous visits would see our fizz glasses topped up in a blink of an eye - we used to tell our friends how good the service was - your glass was never left empty. This visit, we almost had to fight to keep the glass on the table as they were so keen to remove the empty glass rather than refill it. To get a refill we had to vie for a servers attention and then wait whilst the server either asked another server to refill our glass or on the odd occasion, the asked server would refill it themselves. This got better as the Brunch went on, and with an hour to go, the glass would be refilled without us having to ask. One thing I did notice which I hadn’t on previous visits, was the servers were now joining the guests at the cocktail drink stations in order to get cocktails for those who couldn’t be bothered to get up. Fizz was always table served, and cocktails were always collected from the stations by the guests. Maybe, this was the reason for the much slower fizz refills. One last criticism, seen but not experienced, was the cocktail portions. Depending on who served you at the station, you sometimes were given half a glass instead of a full glass of the cocktails. One young lady in front of me at the cocktail station had to ask for hers to be topped up - the server didn’t seem particularly pleased that she did and replied with “this is how I always do them” he then proceeded to top her glass up with crushed ice rather than more of the cocktail! The food was up to its usual high standard though the variety didn’t seem to be as great as previous visits. Not sure why TimeOut awarded this their award for 2024 as our previous brunch visit to Bubalicous was as good food wise with more variety, and much better drink wise. Four stars given for the food due to the reduction in variety; three for the service which was quite slow and three for the atmosphere as this was ruined by being seated immediately adjacent to a busy entrance, and being swamped by smoke.

Amazing buffet, been going there since 8 years and it only got better. Awesome selection of seafood, oysters, meet, veggies, pizza, pasta, you name it, any kids of alcohol and sweets. If weather is fresh, recommend take a table outside with canal view, live band is there too. So worth it.

Very average brunch, which has not seen a refresh, but rather a deterioration over the years. Food was very average for the price - also no pork section, which was disappointing. Service was friendly but understaffed and bar tenders were not trained very well in cocktail mixing - ratios were all off. It was not even the peak of summer and the air-conditioning was struggling to keep venue cool. Everyone at out indoor table was sweaty from the heat. Overall a very average experience, but at an above average price. Disappointing.
