Al-Qurain Martyrs Museum

Enjoyable time seeing some of the historical sights of Kuwait. It was Interesting to read about the battle and the background of the iraqi occupation at no cost aside from the travel which is a little drive from the city centre. If I was to return I would choose to visit during daylight.

This place witnessed a live combat between the occupant Iraqi forces during the first Gulf war and a group of brave Kuwaitis who died while protecting their land. The place shows bombed buildings, burnt cars, and a tank that entered this place. Entering the place is free. It spans across 3 floors, and one can reach the upper floors by stairs. Inside the main building is a museum that shows pictures of martyrs and weapons used. Worth spending 30 minutes here.

The museum is located in the actual house where Kuwaiti resistance fighters fought against Iraqi troops during the Gulf War. Its a memorial site which is historically significant, and has been well-preserved.

An important reminder preserved respectfully and presented with honour. A worthwhile and humbling place to visit - a must see

Beautiful history at its finest showcasing the brave martyrs who stood and protected what they can. It's definitely worth a visit to understand more about the Qurain fight where a few houses combined, remaining cars, a tank and a water tank that transported people. Sadly when we visited it was closed and only PM timings on friday.

Al-Qurain Mertyrs Museum houses the possessions of the Kuwaiti resistance fighters, their weapons, clothing, and some vehicles used in their missions against the Iraqi military. The house holds the horrific memories of the Al-Qurain battle that took place on the 24th of February, 1991. Really recommend visiting if the topic of the Iraqi invasion in Kuwait is interesting to you. The museum is free to enter, no tickets required.
