The rooms were very clean and tidy. The bathrooms were spotless. We could drop our luggages in chrck out at the concierge before we visited Petra. Location is very good and there are many eating places nearby. The reason I gave 4 out of 5 were primarily due to 2 reasons. The first being, its around a good 20 min walk from Petra and you may have to take a cab. The second being there are no lifts. So if your room is on 2nd or 3rd floor then you may have a problem with stairs if mobility is an issue. I was travelling with old parents so a lift would have been great. However the stay at the hotel was just brilliant. The host was so friendly. He offered us free appetisers, free baklava and free tea/coffee with every meal. Highly recommended

So far this is one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in in Jordan. |The rooms are clean and the beds / mattresses are very comfortable. |The bathrooms are spacious and there is a real shower, which makes a change from where we’ve stayed so far. |There is also a restaurant, which is part of the hotel. The food is tasty and very reasonable. We were offered free appetizers with dinner and also some baklava for dessert. The breakfast is ok. I would suggest offering some fruit or Arabic salad instead of bread and cheese!

Pros:|1) The hotel is bang in the town centre. You can find plenty of shopping/eating options nearby.|2) The hotel is a short drive away from the Petra Archeological site.|3) The wifi was free with good speed and connectivity. |4) The tariff is reasonable.|5) The bathroom was clean.|6) Bathroom had all modern amenities.|7) The front desk staff spoke good English.|8) The place is quite at night and sleep quality was good.|9) The on site restaurant had good quality food.||Cons:|1) The room was microscopic. There was hardly any space to walk around the bed.|2) The carpet in the room seemed a bit dirty.|3) We could never get hot water in the bathroom.|4) There is no parking. You have to park on the street and finding one is extremely difficult.|5) The hotel has no lift.|6) There is no laundry facility at the hotel (there are couple of shops nearby though).

Well let me start by saying that this is not the Marriott but it's about one-tenth the price. And the accommodations are completely acceptable. The thing that makes this such a nice place to stay is that the owner is a lot of fun to chat with. Speaks very good English which is helpful to Americans but I understand he also speaks perfect German. Of course that's not helpful to Americans. And his staff, especially Sharif, are really Pleasant people. We enjoyed our stay very much. And the last thing I would add is it is very well located in the "city center". Lots of restaurants to choose from including the one right next to the hotel. We got our breakfast there each day and it is something to experience because it is such a local thing. Sherif literally gets up to make it for you whenever you need to head to Petra. And dinner includes the appetizers. We had tasty Jordanian food there. Two thumbs up from a guy that normally stays at a Marriott.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Petra . Good ,clean and comfortable room with en suite bathroom . It's located near the center of Wadi Musa about 20 mins walk from the entrance to Petra and 10 mins from the bus stop . There are quiet a few restaurants within a few minutes walk .

The staff here were fantastic! They were very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. They did all the could to help us on our way. Our room was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The shower had great water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was plentiful and served to us immediately. The place itself is also very clean and has a restaurant attached to it where we ended up eating as we were exhausted from a huge day at Petra. The restaurant serves good tasty well priced food and also gave us a complimentary dessert at the end. Our best stay in Jordan for sure!

This place was awesome considering the $55 per night we paid for it. I don't know why it is listed as one star on the Petra tourist guide. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the room, while small, is clean with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, satellite TV and included WiFi. The breakfast is quite simple although they will bring you a fried egg or omelette if you ask for it. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a budget hotel that is clean and comfortable.

This place may not be perfect but worked amazingly for me and my travel companions. First of all the staff is very friendly and were very attentive the whole length of out stay. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good and generous, perfect to start a day of hiking in Petra, which you can reach after a 15 minute walking down hill (although on the way back you might prefer to take a taxi) Cleanliness on the bathrooms can be improved though
