Al Reem Desert Camp

😊: Reem camp was as expected was very much peaceful and an amazing experience . They have maintained the serenity of the place and kept it close the reality. Nomaan and Manan made sure we were comfortable and served us delicious food ,the hot water shower and rest all comforts in the middle of nature actually made our stay memorable. They both were very welcoming and helpful. Nice place to enjoy the quite, sunrise and sunset were picturesque . Can never forget to mention fighter and Jack ( the two dogs ) at the camp . If you enjoy the nature in its simple form then its a place to visit ......

A great destination to unwind in solace under the stars. The beauty of the location unlike other camps is the amazing greenery within the desert. It was a super cool experience. Do try it. Highlights - Moderate Pricing - Accessible By Motorbikes & Saloon Cars

😊: Easy to get to from Muscat... no need for a 4x4. Very quiet and easy walk to the dunes. Nice dinner... buffet and barbecued chicken.. 😢: The padlock on the door didn't work... it was old and rusty. The AC was noisy. I didn't like the juice for breakfast..

Wonderful place. On edge of desert and easy to reach in own 2WD so no expensive pickup needed. Is scattered trees around this lodge that provide shade and lots of calling birds made it really present. Was small sand dunes around for short stroll to see sunset etc. Staff super friendly and attentive and the included food was great. Thankyou Faisal and team! One of our favourite stays in Oman vacation. Did our ride a camel experience here. Is also associated lodge further into full sand dunes for a totally immersed experience if you want.

Suitable for families with kids, as there are few playgrounds, as well various sitting areas. Comfortable room. The highlight of the trip was the ride to the desert. The local Omani guide was excellent driver, also he told us many interesting stories. We really enjoyed everything. We also had a dinner, a campfire and a breakfast. The stuff was really helping and being friendly. The territory of the camp is really spacious, if you love to be in an area with less tourist and take your time to rest and read a book - that would be a perfect place. Only one thing could be improved - there was quite a small amount of dates .. the only one place in Oman where we did not really ate dates.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the campsite where the starry sky was very clear due to the absence of light pollution. The entire campsite was decorated beautifully, and the staff were very humble and helpful. Although the dinner and breakfast were simple, they were delicious, and we highly recommend this place to others. The only two minor drawbacks were that the hot water wasn't very hot, and we ended up taking a cold shower, which was quite challenging given the cool temperature at night. The second issue was that the bedsheet on the window-side had large stains on it.

Located on the edge of a rocky desert, located right next to a big Sanddune but other than that not surrounded by it. ||||The atmosphere is very nice with high quality tents and private bathrooms that were very decent. ||||The food was really excellent (!) and staff was great and they took good care of the on site camels that we took for a lovely ride.||||||The level of comfort was pretty good However I felt that our mattress was a bit too thin which hurt my hips at night. Perhaps I was a bit unlucky because the side of the mattress my partner was on, was decent.

Location is breathtakingly beautiful. Nestled between white dunes and surrounded by lush plantation being in the middle of a natural oasis. The service is top notch, very hospitable and helpful staff. The owner is very helpful and accommodating, and easy reachable via diff mediums of communication. The huts are tastefully done and very comfortable. Meals are fresh and the outdoor grill is highly recommended. Definitely a place to revisit over and over.
