Kind of a hidden gem in a little street. Very nice tables, very authentic. Not everyone of the staff is friendly, but one of them could speak English and was very welcoming. The food was very good, they had a nice selection of wine. I recommend to reserve a table to get the best seats.

We wanted to love it, as had been recommended and the ambience and staff were delightful. Sadly the dishes and flavour profiles were not to our taste, which is very unusual for us (we usually love everything). We saw lots of lovely food coming from the kitchen though, so perhaps it was our choices. It also wasn’t clear how you order pizzas, these seemed to come out of a separate door but we weren’t given menus.

Fantastic dinner! The pasta with shrimp and mushrooms, the fregola, and the desserts were all outstanding. Service was very friendly, and special thanks to Marco for his great attention and kindness. Highly recommended!

We had dinner for two at this place and had a good time. You can try interesting local dishes, some of them served in a slightly more modern twist. The staff were friendly, but since we booked for 10 p.m. and the place closes at 11, it was noticeable that they were gently hurrying us along. Overall, the food was tasty, the prices reasonable, and in hindsight I would book an earlier time (which I recommend). Worth trying at least once.

Giovanni was great! Pasta is delicious and they have Neapolitan pizza. We enjoyed our dinner and I would recommend them for pasta and pizza. Service was extremely good and welcoming! Grazie per tutti!

Nestled in a charming corner, Il Rifettorio delivers a delightful dining experience, though not without its quirks. The outdoor seating is admittedly a bit snug—think old school benches where personal space is at a premium. It adds a nostalgic flair, but may not suit those craving elbow room. That said, the food more than makes up for it. Every dish was well-prepared and flavorful, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to detail. Service was refreshingly polite, striking that perfect balance of attentive without being intrusive. A special shoutout to the staff for welcoming our four-legged companion, Toffee, with open arms. It's always lovely when places go the extra mile to include furry family members. All in all, Il Rifettorio is a cozy spot that wins you over with its culinary charm and warm hospitality—just maybe don’t skip shoulder day before sitting outside!

Amazing food and very friendly staff. Recommend making a reservation at least a few hours in advance. The steak was grilled perfectly, pasta al dente and pizza just as it should be. A little bit more expensive, but worth it.

Even though it was a last minute decision and had only 45 minutes before the restaurant closed we got to eat very nice dinner and taste some really nice wine too ! The staff was very friendly and nice !

Yelp
I have been in Alghero for one week, and have eaten here 3 times. I am trying to hold myself from returning, but OH MAN, this place is top notch on service and the food is ridiculous. EVERYTHING I have ordered was to perfection..... I strongly recommend a visit!!

Yelp
Chanced upon this restaurant and decided to eat there. Menu prices are a tad pricey but relatively standard for this part of town; you can find cheaper options around but you'd have to look hard. Service is SLOW as heck. They took forever to take our order. They literally waited until everyone in our row was ready to order and then banged it all out at once. Needless to say, the food took a lifetime to come and we were there sitting for a good 45 minutes picking at a stale, sorry bread basket. There were broken bits of clam shell in my linguine. I never thought you could go wrong with Italian food but having had really good food elsewhere, the unremarkable ones really do stand out jarringly.

Yelp
Master of cooking. all dishes were perfectly balanced and tasty. I've tried the best grilled pulpo I've ever had. I will definitely go back for my next trip
