Al Tentacolo

A must for tourists.:) The fish is fresh, weighed in front of you and you know the price immediately. We've eaten here several times and do not regret it. Once the prawns had some burns sticked to it from the grill (you can see it in the picture), which interfered with the taste, but overall it was very good!

The food was honestly only ok. The lady will fill a tray with random stuff, way too much than you'll actually eat and you need to ask her to remove stuff. Take like €10 worth of stuff off what she proposes (it's done by weight). Octopus is extra beyond this pile of sea creatures. The starters are served cold, which wasn't very nice for me personally. The fish is simply deep fried and is fresh thankfully but quite bland beyond that. The baby squid was not prepared correctly, with bone and ink not removed which was not great. The sardines were nice, shrimp was nice, anchovies were bitter.. just a very mixed bag. The atmosphere is not great either, bad music and fluorescent lights. Fine overall but just go to a market to eat fried fish/octopus/squid whatever you like during the day and go somewhere a bit nicer for dinner. That's my recommendation

A wonderful place to spend an evening. They immediately fried fresh fish and seafood that we chose on the spot. What a fresh fried dish. It was delicious and crunchy. I took off one star from the rating as they made two minor mistakes in serving (they served an octopus dish that we didn't order) as well as calculating our bill (they included a price of the octopus dish. The local draft beer seems a bit pricey (EUR 10 for two glasses).

You chose from the presented, mostly ready-to-eat food what you like - very nice. Vino de la casa was excellent!

kinds randomly stumbled into this place and it was super busy , so I figured it was good. everything was super fresh and tasted amazing, I regret not ordering more oysters they were some of the best I ever had.

The best street food I've tried in Sicily. Fresh seafood that you can choose from the market stalls. The food is deliciously prepared and melts in your mouth. It may not be the cheapest place that ordinary tourists can imagine for street food but this taste explosion is worth the price.

We ordered half an octopus and three prawns, and they were fresh with a distinct smoky flavor from the grill. Everything tasted amazing. The waiter was very nice, making it a great dining experience overall. Just a heads up, they take an afternoon break and reopen at 6pm.

If you're looking for a place to eat fried fish and seafood, this is the right place. They are prompt in frying the fresh produce that you choose on the spot and the end result is delightful. Everything is cooked to perfection and the taste is crunchy and delicious. However, the service needs to be improved always trying to cheat the tourists and for babies octopus they didn’t remove octopus ink for us can’t even eat it.
