Can't say much other than we got some sort of apple thing that was amazing!!!! It had a super soft apple in the middle filled with cream and wrapped in a puffed pastry dough covered with cinnamon and sugar. It was worth walking back to get another one. As a matter of fact, I think I'll do that right now before we leave Venice. Oh, and it had clean bathrooms for customers.

Google
Great place for a Breakfast! We discovered this place next to the theatre on our walk in the morning, we entered for a Breakfast and it was totally worth it! Very nice panini, excellent espresso and cappuccino. The selection of sandwiches and croissants they have was out of this world. You have to try both sweat and normal food in this restaurant / pasticceria. Totally worth a visit

Google
Claudia was very helpful even thought it’s more a place for the locals and they didn’t seem to care about pleasing the tourists. Claudia made sure I got the food and drinks I wanted for my family of four without knowing any English. The price was so reasonable that I went back there twice while staying close to it. Espresso and sandwiches were really good. For desserts, we like the Prosecco and rose was amazing.

Google
Been in Venice for a week and each place had excellent service even if food wasn’t. This place is an exception. Expensive drinks, terrible surly service. Waiter spilled my kids juice and he didn’t apologize or replace it. My son’s hat got wet from the said juice and he said you can wash it yourself in the bathroom when I asked for club soda. Of course the white hat was immediately stained in orange. Avoid it!

Google
Service is slow, but the food and drinks are good. Worth a little wait and take a breather before things arrive. It is quite large space where you order at the bar and can either eat at benches or go into area (inside or outside as weather lots) with sit down tables.

Google
We had horrible service here. We came for breakfast, getting just coffee, juice, and pastries and we had to wait incredibly long to order and to receive anything, even though all the pastries were right there on display. Our waiter was incredibly rude to us, yelling and saying that if we were in a rush, which we weren’t, we should’ve taken it to go. Definitely ruined our morning. Food and coffee was fine, but our time here was not good.

Google
Worst experience in Venice. Charged 8 euro for the ‘table cloth’. Boring food. Over priced. Avoid.

Google
We initially stopped here to use the restroom but figured we could get a snack and drink since it looked so good! The pastries were amazing! The staff was nice and the bathrooms were clean. You do have to pay more to sit inside or sit outside or you can stand at the bar height table inside for free. I think this is a standard thing in Italy but definitely more in Venice.

Yelp

Yelp
Amazing pizza! They don't skimp on the toppings and all the ingredients are fresh like the tomatoes and arugula and salad. They also provide bread sticks and rolls. Definitely a must try if you like pizza! The location was also very convenient, next to our hotel and the theater.

Yelp
Amazing food! Only went for breakfast and it was fantastic. Would definitely go back again. Nice ambiance and fast service

Yelp
we had breakfast at the restaurant every morning but as we were provided a breakfast voucher by our hotel, we were not allowed to sit outside. we were told that customers who outside pay more than those who had breakfast agreements with a hotel. it's very disappointing and also makes you feel excluded and uncomfortable. Otherwise food was delicious and coffee was great too.

Yelp
Our food was delicious and the view was just beautiful! I enjoyed my seafood linguine but the spritz was quite flat. Not the best I've had during my time in Italy.

Yelp
The breakfast pastries and coffee were much needed after a long stroll along the alley ways of Venice. Their Almond Croissant was very memorable! Almond Croissant : Extra light, flaky, full of flavor yet not over powering. Orange Marmalade Croissant : Mild marmalade (a hybrid of apricot jam perhaps?) filled Croissant, another Fabiola choice!

Yelp
Good food. There was an issue in translation on the order of one of the meals. A dish was delivered but not what was ordered. The service was fast and the restaurant clean. Waiter could have been more attentive as we would have ordered coffee and deserts but they were understandably busy.

Yelp
Had a very nice meal here. Pizza was excellent, mixed salad was very good and the service was good. Was surprised the be charged 12 euro for the table though, and our server made it clear that the bill did not include service, which was a first during the past 10 days in Italy. I guess things are different in Venice. But it was good and would still recommend it.

Yelp
Meals were tasty and well portioned. The plating was very well done, picture worthy according to my family! Had a very nice time with great service. Was very happy with the whole experience.

Yelp
We just loved the location & alfresco dining. We stopped by this amazing Bistro for lunch & thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine, service & avionce.

Yelp
I arrived around 2:50on a weekday. I wanted to have a nice late lunch and this restaurant was hands down my favorite in Venice. Even though they close kitchen at 3:00 and only have the café area and re open at a later hour, they gladly took my order. Sea bass ravioli. Simply decadent. The amazing service, flavourful dish and imprcable service made this culinary experience feel beyond my other ones while in town. For dessert I had the chocolate soufflé...heaven in your mouth. You will love this place! Thank you for making my visit a special one.

Tracie J.

Yelp
Very kind and helpful. Wonderful food! Outdoor and indoor seating. A must try when in Venice.

Yelp
The food was excellent but our waiter acted s if he were annoyed to wait on us. After finishing our meal, we waited for the check for almost a half hour

Lucila M.

Yelp
We had good references from friends who had been there before, and we really enjoyed our time at the restaurant. The food was very good, the wine was excellent, and the piazza is lovely!

Yelp
Perfect place to relax and have a coffee or small bite before heading to saint Mark's square.

Yelp
This location is super convenient from our hotel and the shops. We ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. Originally they thought we wanted one spinach and one ham and cheese, and we just asked them to make another ham and cheese. The store is a little different in the fact that you eat first and THEN you pay. But it was delicious and we went at least twice during our time in Venice!

Yelp
My family and I had wonderful cappuccino, pastries, and sandwiches at the cafe. Servers behind the counter were very nice and accommodating. We went here twice in the two days we were in Venice and had fantastic espresso both times. People watching at the window bar is a lot of fun and there was beautiful jasmine growing around the entrance. All this just added to the charming ambiance of the experience.

Yelp
It is quite touristy and right next to the theatre and as a result also reasonably expensive. You have to pay €4 per person cover charge and an average size pizza can run you about €12-16. The food is nice and tasty and the service is good. I had pizza here and I enjoyed it. It was a little different in the sense that the crust was a lot softer and chewy as opposed to be being crispy and chewy and I did not mind it at all. The Pannacotta for dessert with berries was also quite good and I enjoyed it a lot. The coffee is ok and the staff were prompt and friendly. Given the choice and time I would go elsewhere as you can great pizza for a lot less in town. If you want a more upmarket setting then I would pick this place as it is a great spot for people watching and it is right next to the theatre.

Yelp
Actual location: Campo San Fantin 1916 30124 Venice Italy I walked pass this restaurant on my way to my hotel and saw a good looking pizza. So my group of 5 had lasagna, beef, chicken, fried fish, pizza, and ravioli. We all liked the lasagna, beef, and pizza! We liked the chicken but the spinach was a little too drenched in a sauce, and the ravioli was small and I thought it was in sauce (a little too dry for me...). Almost forgot about the fried fish plate... it had a lot of sardines and a few shrimp. It was tasty but we didn't expect it to be most sardines. For dessert, we got a tiramisu and that was a bit tiny. Service was attentive and they were patient with us English speakers.

Yelp
The service was good , the waiters were mostly friendly. The meals tasted really good and they were well portioned. We had a good time and the decoration of the restraurant is modern and elegant .

Yelp
Friendly staff, yummy risotto, pizza and fries on a day when we wanted American-like food while still having those awesome Italian flavors.

Yelp
Love this place! On a charming square next to la Fenice, al Theatro works for everything from a quick coffee to a full blown al fresco meal. We've been a few times now. Staff have been super friendly each visit, and the prices are very fair for the area. Both tourists and locals enjoy the food- the pizzas are fine, pastas nice, and the main dishes are lovely too. Tonight we had fresh turbot served with baby artichokes and chicory, and a veal chop Milanese style. Finicky kids should find something they like, and couples can enjoy a leisurely dinner with wine. Inside you'll find pastries etc to have at the bar or take away. Its difficult to find decent food served by a caring staff in this part of Venice. Highly recommended!

Yelp
The food was exelent but twice we recognased in check the sings to pay which we didn't order

Yelp
A good mixed between cozy and fancy atmosphere, with delicious fingerfood both savory and sweet, great wines and coffee, nice public/customers, friendly service and strategically placed close to the Opera (Fenice). Jenny Ch.

Yelp
I went with a older friend who grew up, lived in ,and is now retired in Venice. I ordered a spaghetti dish and a glass of wine and enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was good, but not the most amazing meals I've ever had. It was probably one of the better lunches I had in Venice. The waitstaff was very helpful, but it also helped that my friend is well known in the neighborhood.

Kristi P.

Yelp
This quickly became our favorite little spot in all of Venice. The staff are very friendly and the wine and cicchetti (tapas) are mouth watering and delicious. It's tucked away just enough to where we felt like we'd snuck away from the obscene crowds of tourists everywhere else in Venice. We knew it was good when we noticed all of the gondoliers and locals coming in after their shifts. It seemed to be a local favorite. It's definitely worth it to enjoy a glass of wine outside, after the sun sets, and enjoy the view of the Theater.

David G.

Yelp
This food here is disgusting and the service is worse. It's the ultimate tourist trap.

Alessandro L.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast spot with an amazing range of 1st class fresh patisseries. The same could be said for lunch/dinner menu with an interesting & savory interpretation of lasagne, cod fish mantecato or excellent prosciutto di Parma. Instead, 0 star for the bigoli's duck ragù which included a great chunk of redundant, tasteless, heavy duck's skin with only 1/4 of breast.

Yelp
Ripped us off with 12 euro charge for sharing 10 euro pizza which was enough for two just like home in NYC. OUTRAGEOUS. PLEASE DO NOT GO. Waiter didn't inform us of charge. Not a service charge which would have been less. They are stealing from tourists. REPEAT: DO NOT GO

Yelp
Venice can be very hit or miss when it comes to dining. Our lunch was a bit on the expensive side for a few glasses of house wine, pizza and a salad. We were not crazy about the 10€ surcharge either. Didn't think too much of it and simply enjoyed the food which was 6/10 and the location. We sat in a shade covered zigzag plaza, outside a massive church. The pedestrian traffic made up for the meal. We most likely would not eat here again, but have a lovely souvenir certainly worth 10€... We give it 2/5 boots

Yelp
This restaurant was an unexpected stop, with friendly staff and lovely food. We loved it!

Yelp
This restaurant is right next to the Theatre. The service is very good, and the wait staff are very friendly. They are also very open to changes in the ingredients. My son wanted to modify his dish, and they accommodated a young kid with no fuss. The Mixed Grill (seafood) is awesome. It really is amazing. And the grilled fish was exceptional. They come and carve all the fish at the table, so you don't have to do too much work, to enjoy the wonderful food. I would recommend at least one dinner at this on a visit to Venice.

T. F.

Yelp
Just okay food. Overpriced, including the 4 Euro cover which, in our case, consisted of two slices of dried-out bread and two grissini packs. Inconsistent service, at times pushy service. A tourist trap taking advantage of its location next-door to the Fenice Theatre. Our opinion: "Pass!"

Gordon H.

Yelp
This is seriously the worst meal I've had in memory and in Venice of all places. This is the first review I have ever left of a restaurant but I felt so motivated to warn others that I have to take the time. I eat out all the time, from southern cal, Hawaii, Seattle, Salt Lake City, Boston, Dublin, Gaway to name some in the last year or so. I ordered a cod dish. My wife ordered sauteed chicken and spinach. The spinach was good. The chicken was over cooked rather dry only 4 small pieces. The cod was a joke- 2 very small 1.5x1.5" pieces of fried cod that was about the quality of a fast food fish and chip meal (if it consisted of just 2 bites). The topper was some nasty concoction of cod, milk and onion that I could not finish because of the taste- I still have the after taste. The manager offered only a desert as a comp which was good. But we left very hungry and 53 Euros lighter ( only water to drink by the way).
