Top location for food and drinks, you can Watch the sunset during dinner. Food is excellent and very fresh. Go over there when you are in the neigbourhood, you won’t regret it

We went to this place for lunch in October: it was super calm, peaceful and also romantic. I think the strength of this restaurant is certainly the location, the atmosphere and the view but food and service were both spot on. I would advise to avoid July and August, if possible, just to avoid crowding and enjoy the peace of this place. The food was excellent with some really interesting dishes that combine the traditional Apulian cuisine with innovation. My partner took the carruba dessert which she described as the best dessert that she had had in a long time.

If I could have given 10 starts I would have. One of my favorite places I’ve been to this year. We went there for lunch and booked in advance. - Friendly and professional staff. They even went all the way to accommodate our request to get a table right on the sea, as soon as it was available. - We took the 5 course menu and the paired wine tasting. The food was a mix of traditional and innovative and everything was very good. Special shout out to the traditional mussels and the panna cotta. - Very nice location and view Absolutely recommended!

Wonderful structure at sunset, friendly staff and great cocktails. But the food? How can you have cheap microwaved tortilla in Italy? It was so bad we cancelled our reservation for the restaurant the next evening. Plus we had 2 tables with 2 different reservations yet they only gave us 1 set of appetisers to share

Rather a touristic attraction than a legit restaurant. The bar food-menu is really poor and overpriced. It feels like you eat some leftover microwave heated stuff from the day before. Drinks were good. For the same amount of money you get elsewhere way better and honest food! The have a fake pirate ship - great for pictures.

All about the location. Beautiful view and setting. Worse than mediocre food. Uninteresting drinks but they look great! (And take a LONG time to arrive) Expensive, but the view is worth it - just be prepared. Stuffed mussels are awful - cheap tomato sauce soaked breadcrumbs. Alici fritte are terrible, as if coated in corn flakes. Cold summer mixed pasta lacked flavor. Pigna cremosa dessert similarly boring. Terrible food, but you should STILL come for the fantastic setting!

You cannot deny the sheer beauty of this restaurant. One of the most unique locations we have seen in Europe. And we were excited to eat here despite the 40 min windy drive from Vieste. Food was OK. Wine list was great (lots of local and natural wines) and very fairly priced (at least by USA standards). The service is where things really took a turn and prompted this review. Mid way through our dinner we were assigned a new server—a young lady—who was so gruff and unpleasant it basically ruined our night. Not sure what we did to deserve her treatment as we three are all in the hospitality trade back home and know our way around a table. She sucked and shouldn’t be working in this industry. Parting thoughts: skip dinner and go from drinks. The bar area along the cliffs is where it’s all. All the locals seemed to get that

I'm surprised at the good reviews for this restaurant for food and service. The wine was too expensive, the three dishes we had were enough for my wife and I to leave not well cooked and poorly seasoned (bland). The service is blunt and impersonal and observing the server bone a fish on the next table with all the skill of a lumber jack . Two expensive and pretentious. Definitely would not recommend which is a shame because the location is outstanding.

Yelp
We stayed in one of the restaurants three accomodations for four nights. Location is nothing short of amazing. Breathtaking views, quiet, killer-sunsets just in front of your door. The whole peninsula - which is a National Park (Parco Nazionale del Gargano) is worth visiting and exploring. Fun to drive as well (a bit narrow at times). Since we had our "home" for a few days here, we did naturally come to this restaurant for dinner. Every night. The first night was a night to remember. A huge storm hit the place, people had to hide insight and wait out the storm. But the mood was still good and people enjoyed their drinks. After the storm did quiet down we had our first dinner here. They have fantastic food here. Italian and seafood dishes. With a twist. Also a huge wine list with fantastic wines. For white wine try some Puglian Fiano (INSOLITO -Michele Biancardi or Antica Enotria). For red try out the LE BRACI Negroamaro - Severino Garofano. The kind of pasta we've enjoyed the most were the "Troccoli". Thicker and heavier (homemade) than Spaghetti. A real treat. There are several dishes here you can order with this kind of pasta. That said all the meals were wonderful. Never fell short. Great standard, high quality ingredients. But what stands out even more than the pasta is the fish and seafood. It doesn't get better and/or fresher than this here (except you catch it yourself). Probably the best and freshest seafood we've ever had. And we've had many. Some of the meals we've ordered: - Troccoli with Vongole (clams) - Fresh troccoli pasta with a spring onion cream, cuttlefish* and a smoked herring paste - Fresh pappardelle with a catch of the day fish ragu - Fusillone pasta with a mix of raw and sauteed prawns* in a fresh rosemary infused tomato - Mixed pasta with seafood and cured fish roe - Deep fried trawler fish, prawns and calamaretti with zucchini scapece - Traditional stuffed mussels - Traditional salted cod oven baked with hyacinth bulbs and potatoes And now the best for last: - Raw seafood platter of the day This raw (crudo) platter is an experience. The freshest seafood you'll ever put in your mouth. A huge platter with oysters, squid, raw fish, shrimp, langoustines and clams. All so good, don't shy away in case you've never eaten raw seafood. Oysters were amazing. And the Langoustines were so full of flavour, you can taste the sea ... and so sweet. A wonderful platter. Great starter (serves 2) and for 22 Euros a steal. An amazing restaurant. Location, views, freshness, quality. It's all there. Since we were staying with them we even were able to let them serve some pasta for us for lunch to our accomodation. And in the evening we always got a table. But: If you don't stay here, be sure to make a reservation. It's a hugely popular place. Be it the restaurant or the outside section (with a reduced menu) to watch the sunset. Loved it. A must-do when in the area. And worth an even longer drive.

Yelp
AL TRABUCCO DA MIMI is one of the most unique resort type properties in the world. We've been to hundreds of beautiful places in our life and this one is at the top of the list. We booked a cabin for two nights and the room was beautifully renovated and decorated in rustic modern style. They also offer the motor bikes rental as well as paddle boarding equipment. The continental breakfast was included and it was great: excellent coffee, freshly squeezed juices (pineapple and celery was my favorite, so was the carrot juice). Other breakfast items: cooked to order eggs, freshly baked pastries, cakes and brioche bread, fresh fruit and different kinds of cheeses. We also had lunch and dinner at the onsite restaurant and everything was fresh and delicious. We watch them catch the fish and take it straight to the kitchen. All staff we had interactions with was friendly, welcoming and very attentive. There's also a beautiful bar area where you can order drinks, fresh seafood and dessert. We had cocktails and fresh oysters there and we loved it.
