Ristorante Al Tuguri Alghero

If you can only try one restaurant in Alghero, choose this one. Everything was exceptional! The staff is beyond professional and kind, the ambiance is prefect (try to ask for a table on the terrace on the rooftop) and the food…. No words. I had the poached shrimps and the seafood pasta and oh boy they were soooooo good!

My husband and I had the tasting menu with wine pairings (this made it a more expensive evening but compared to other tasting menus with pairings it was very fairly priced.) The menu was incredibly tasty and well balanced. All food and wine was local and definitely recommend it for fish lovers. The service was professional and friendly and we were sat at the terrace with a lovely view. Would recommend if you'd really like to treat yourself!

Loved it! Had the tasting menu (5 courses) with adjusted wines for 100€pp. Simple, elegant and very tasty. Superfriendly owner and staff. They placed us downstairs in a quieter area as we mentioned we were taking our 1y son, super thoughtful! Maybe one minor thingy is that the courses came a bit too fast after eachother.

Al Tuguri is an excellent restaurant - in my view definitely of Michelin rating quality

Accomplished cooking here using the freshest ingredients which we all know that that makes the difference between eating at a mediocre establishment or a quality establishment, thankfully this restaurant fits into the latter. My only qualm and I let it go on this occasion as I'm on holiday was my wine glass was a little smeary/not cleaned properly and the red wine by the glass which was superb I thought the amount offered was minuscule hence 4 stars for service.

What an amazing feast we had! Food was spectacular!! An explosion of flavours that worth to try. Presentation of dishes was beautiful, cozy small restaurant and Andrea’s service beyond all, super gentile, proper with good chat amd excellent advise on the menu! Super recommended

We been in alghero for 2 days and I wanted to take my girl for some really nice restaurant for a best food. So we visited Al Tuguri. We didn’t know before it was michelin as it get only in 2021 I assume (june 2021 been there). We took sea and meat meal course as we wanted to taste from both something new explore new combinations and gourman experience. Meal was better if you are hungry (tenderloin steak) and fish more light (smaller portions) but fishy taste. We really enjoyed this place, really nice staff which even recognize that we are rebels and my girlfriend had 2 forks after starters and no knife 😂 so they add it up. Wine was delicious and so our experience. Thank you and if you hesitate go and grab this main course for 50 it is good price for best quality before they go higher ;)

Now this is a great place to discover new tastes stemming from traditional Sardinian cuisine. The manager in a passionate and detailed way explained every dish to us and the pieces of the menu were awesome. In the menu you can choose between three sets - sea, land (more traditional) and vegetarian. We selected the first two and they were delicious - especially little starters with astounding cherry gazpacho and sea salad verdure, then homemade-like raviolini, gilt-head bream and amazing pork cheek with reduced cagnulari. It was just great in a warm, very friendly, family-like setting. The desserts were gorgeous. PS. There was only interior seating option.
