Posted on 25th April 2025: We’ve been in a Italy for 10 days and this restaurant was the first one that provided our 19mo baby with a reading book he loved and a kids plate and cup. The staff at this restaurant were lovely and welcoming, especially with our son. The pizza was the best one we’ve had in Italy so far. We ordered the Margherita and a prawn mozarella pizza. I highly recommend the margherita! We also ordered the fregola with seafood. I normally don’t like seafood and can’t stand mussels but this dish was delicious. I couldn’t stop eating it! The seafood was cooked well and the fregola was perfect. We will definitely come back!! Edit: we did come back a few days later and had the spaghetti with clams and two pizzas. It was still delicious and my son loved the clams. The owner is so friendly and lovely. This restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip in Alghero and we were glad we got to dine here twice during their low season.

It was lovely. We had their traditional Sardinian food, and the service was really nice. We came right after they opened in the evening without a reservation, and they seated us immediately. There is a €2 per person charge for the coperto, but that’s quite normal in a good Italian restaurant.

Very tasty food - we went there two evenings. We had Pizza Quattro Stagioni, Calzone and Spaghetti with Tuna. Tiramisu as dessert. Everything was delicious and the service was great. We especially loved the location with the vaulted cellar. Would highly recommend!

This place was recommended by our host, and it did not disappoint! We went without a reservation and were lucky to get a table. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious — including the dessert. The service was quick and efficient, and the staff was very professional. A great spot if you’re looking for a quality meal and smooth service!

I think this must be one of best restaurants in Alghero. The food was full of flavour and they have a huge pizza menu and cater for those with a gluten free diet. A lot of the customers seem to be local which is a good endorsment for any restaurant. There was a constant queue for tables so advance booking is recommended.

Amazing food. Well worth the wait. Everything we had was delicious, from the antipasti to the pizza to the primi, just really, really good food. Be aware that they brought all of our dishes at once, so it was a bit of a challenge managing the space at the table. Also, it was a very long wait for the check. But, the food was so good that we would return any time!!

We ordered pizza primavera (in the photos) and mussels to share, spaghetti alle vongole for two and a pizza for one (not in the photos) and two 1/4 of wine. The pizza was warm and had a great traditional taste, the mussels were fresh and well cooked with a delicious parsley sauce and the spaghetti were cooked al dente and had the right amount of oil and parsley and were very yummy, although the clams were something like coquina clams and not the bigger variety. The flat side bread was yummy, but the fluffier one could have been spongier or more focaccia-like. The service was great, they were very nice and welcoming and the atmosphere very cozy and chill.

Yelp
Set in a traditional building with curved ceilings, we experienced an awesome pizza. One could choose from various types of dough. The service was hearty and engaged. Go for this place if you already enjoyed the views from the fort beforehands.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The pizza was so very good, as was the local Sardinian wine. I ate a Margherita pizza. So so good. The service was wonderful and the prices were fantastic. Don't miss it.

Yelp
This place is great. Amazing food and staff is super helpful. I had a pizza with fresh sausage and was huge and the taste was perfect. I'll recommend to try the Vecchio Mulino pizza too (is coming with sausage, tomato sauce, black olives and white onion)...a must if you're going there! Price is cheap: I payed 15euros for a pizza,2 litres of beer shared in 5 and also a digestive liquor at the end! Highly recommended!

Yelp
Lovely restaurant with a friendly staff. Great for big groups if you make reservations. All the seating is inside, though on hot days, this is a plus.
