Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi

I wasn’t sure about staying in a hotel in the middle of the desert… until I got there. From the moment we arrived, I was captivated by the beauty of the place and the wonderful atmosphere. I would like to thank every single member of the staff for their kindness and professionalism. A very special thank you to Abdelhakim Fenzar for his warm welcome — he took the time to explain everything about our stay with patience and care. He is a truly wonderful person, and I sincerely appreciate him. I also want to thank the front desk team, the restaurant staff, and everyone involved in the activities (horse riding was sensational). They all contributed to making our experience unforgettable. The quality of the food, the cleanliness of the pool, and the attention to detail are truly outstanding. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy a genuine 5-star experience in the heart of a stunning desert. You won’t regret it. P.S.: They even helped us refuel our car, which was greatly appreciated. Thank you to the cart drivers!

I'll be honest. Coming into this stay we had no expectations. Not for any reason other than we didn't know anyone else who had stayed and knew very little about the resort other than it was in the desert! First of all I have to make a special shout out the the staff. From the check in experience to every meal the service was IMPECCABLE. I've stayed in five star hotels all over the world and I could not fault the service it was absolutely amazing. Special mention to Yodger in the Italian restaurant who was a star to Badri who was one of the managers who seemed to anticipate our every need even before we knew we needed it. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a desert view which I HIGHLY recommend, looking at the resort view rooms there is a big difference there. The resort is impeccable, it's clean, the pools are perfect and food is amazing. If I had to make any criticism it's that there is only two restaurants, the main buffet and the Italian. As we were only staying two nights this wasn't an issue but for longer stays might get boring. That being said every meal was amazing so perhaps that criticism is unjustified. All in all compared to other desert resorts this is incredible value. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. Appreciate receiving our EV back fully charged too! All in all 10/10.

A special mention goes to Sapna at Terra Secca, who made our dining experience exceptional with her warmth, attention to detail, and fantastic recommendations, truly elevating our evening. Also, a huge thank you to Iko, our bell person, who went above and beyond helping us with our luggage and ensuring we were comfortable from check-in to check-out. The resort itself is stunning, a perfect blend of tranquility, luxury, and authentic desert charm. Every detail, from the rooms to the pool and spa, reflects the highest standards of hospitality. We left feeling completely relaxed and pampered. Can’t wait to return!

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Al Wathba, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa. The property is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautifully designed, and surrounded by breathtaking desert views. What made my stay truly special was the exceptional service from Iko. He was incredibly professional, warm, and attentive throughout my visit. From check-in to departure, he made sure everything was perfect and that I felt completely at home. I had the most wonderful and amazing time in Al Wathba Luxury resort. The breathtaking view on the desert, the adorable staff, the exquisite food, the magnificent falcons, horses and camels directly at the hotel, the splendid spa, the buggy excursions, the marvelous sunsets and sunrises on the desert... It really broke my heart to leave this paradise. I will definitely come back.

Me and my wife visited the hotel about a month ago and we didn’t know what to expect considering it was our first and I might say it was sooo relaxing and we had a good time Mr Mohammed the tall manager (cool guy) who wears glasses was soo amazing even my wife was very pleased to and also the manager in the breakfast restaurant who wore absolutely stellar suits was also very good. Special thanks to Aza and lanisa from the spar side they they gave us a smoothing relaxing massage experience. Another waitress was very nice to us but we have forgotten her name. Definitely coming back.

Absolutely loved our stay. Benny and Suresh made sure we had the perfect, comfy day by the pool. Dinner at the Italian restaurant was incredible — Faris and Eva were wonderful, and feeding the horses apples afterwards was such a sweet touch. Don’t miss the falcon show with Irfan — amazing photos and videos — and the sunset horse ride with Ahmed and Magdy, which was just beautiful. Such a special place — can’t wait to go back. 🌅🐎🦅
