Al-Yusra Restaurant

Good taste. Halal food. Good service. I tried Indian mutton biryani. And next time Afghani pilao. The taste is good.

Each establishment I visit has specific product excellence that drives me there repeatedly and for Al Yusra, its the PILAU. I don't just eat any PILAU; I would rather not eat than take the suboptimal stuff many establishments christen Pilau. In most cases, I wait until I get to all Yusra to get the creme de la creme of this coastal cuisine. The ambience accentuates the culinary experience while the par-excellence service leaves one without any doubt that this is a place worth visiting again and again, and AGAIN

I found the fish to be over cooked, it was tough and I like my fish tender. Though, really well spiced and edible. The chicken biryani is fantastic too. Same goes for the customer service, loved chatting with our charming waitress.

Loved the food here. Just amazing better than Mandi experience. Loved the meat rice and the juices. The people are too nice. The food is expensive none the less. But the taste is second to none.

The people working here were really nice and welcoming. We ordered the afghan chicken pilau and chicken biryani - both were excellent. The chicken from the afghan pilau was moist and delicious and had a really nice savoury flavor. The rice was also moist and savoury but not spicy. The biryani was incredible - chicken was good and the rice was packed with spices and herbs. They were both very different (despite them both being rice and chicken) and I liked them equally a lot! The hot ginger drink was also great. It's nice to sit on the balcony and watch the city below.

You rarely find such too notch restaurants everywhere. This is a wonderful restaurant located around the Nairobi CBD. They have wide range of foods served such as pepperoni pizza, burger, pilau, cocktails, and much more. They also offer take away for most fast foods. Loved it.

The food was in plenty and great. Chilled atmosphere and the service was incredible.

Very good food and friendly service. It is a halal restaurant, so no beer or any other is served. Highly recommended.
