I love everything about this place . The food is PHENOMENAL. The workers are the nicest people ever . The hummus is the best hummus in the area (I've tried many hummus from other places). The gyro Greek salad is one of my favorites here .. as well as the chicken kabob platter . Honestly you can't go wrong with anything here. I'm obsessed.

I ordered food on door dash from them. It was packaged nicely and came in time and was hot. I would order form here again and again. They definitely have a great flavor. The hummus was creamy and had the perfect amount of lemon. The lamb gyros was amazing.

This place is delicious and fairly priced. The food is so delicious with great flavor. We’ll definitely be back. The gentleman at the desk is so friendly and helpful.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! This family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem, serving authentic dishes that taste like they’ve been crafted with love. Every bite is full of flavor and care. The kafta, chicken kebab, and meat kebab are all must-tries grilled to perfection and seasoned beautifully. The baba ghanouj and shawarma are out of this world, truly unforgettable. And make sure you add a side of their amazing toum paste — it takes everything to the next level. I tried the chicken shawarma and it genuinely changed my life. It was so good I could have cried on the spot. The staff was so welcoming and nice and we got our food very quickly 100/10

I cannot say enough about how amazing this restaurant was! Every single dish we ordered was absolutely perfect. The hummus was creamy and flavorful (10/10), the falafel was crispy on the outside yet soft inside (10/10), and both the chicken shawarma (10/10) and beef shawarma (9/10) were seasoned beautifully and packed with flavor. Even the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had (10/10) – crispy, hot, and perfectly salted. The service was just as outstanding as the food. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and made us feel completely at home. You can tell they really care about their customers’ experience. Overall, this was an unforgettable meal. Delicious food, amazing service, and a warm atmosphere – we will definitely be coming back again and again!

I don’t usually drive 9 hours for a meal… but for this place, I absolutely will. Every bite at Al-Zaytuna Middle Eastern restaurant is worth the trip from New York to Cincinnati. The food is beyond delicious—authentic, rich in flavor, and made with love. From the freshly baked bread to the perfectly seasoned meats and vibrant sides, everything is spot on. What makes it even better is the outstanding customer service. The team treats you like family—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they serve. Good service and easy phone call to place my order. Loved the interior of the restaurant and loved the food even more when we returned home. I really loved the falafel and hummus but everything else was good, too. I tried a similar meal in Clifton and enjoyed this more. We just didn't receive our baklava :/

I was invited to eat here for lunch on a Monday with friends who have been before. I never would have known about it otherwise. Oh my gosh, I was so impressed with everything. The decor is just lovely with the blue swirly floor, to the live plants everywhere, to the repurposed screen door hanging from the ceiling. The service was so warm and personal. They didn't seem to mind that we sat there for two hours talking. I don't throw 5 stars at a place lightly, especially for lunch. But this food was authentic and fantastic! I have never tasted falafel that was so perfectly fried and the spices were as important to the dish as the chickpeas. The hummus was so creamy with a good amount of seasoning and a lovely olive oil. The grape leaves were a little boring, but I haven't had them but one other time in my life, so maybe that is the way they are supposed to be. The gyro was indeed messy to eat, but the meat was SO tender and perfectly spiced. Their tzatziki sauce is great and they put plenty on the gyro so it is not dry. Fries are spot on. Pita is perfect. The Beef Shawarma platter is huge and everything blended perfectly. My friend really like his chicken shawarma sandwich. This family obviously knows their stuff. This place is a step above the other Mediterranean restaurants in our area. Highly recommend.

Without exaggeration, one of the best meals I've ever had. I had the Chicken Kabob Platter. Cooked to perfection. Great ambiance. Clean. Attentive employees. If it weren't poss9ble I'd score them higher than a 5. Authentic Middle Eastern cuisine.

Freshest food, friendly service, very clean. Had Kibbeh- I think this was my favorite- deep fried to perfection, not overly greasy, an amazing burst of flavors! Kofteh kabob w perfectly seasoned ground beef, rice, and salad. Tabbouleh so refreshing, tasty and fresh. Babaganoush absolutely excellent! Can't wait to return to this delicious establishment!

One of the best gyros I've ever had! Tons of meat and was very fairly priced at $10. I was told the chicken shawarma is also very good so I definitely plan on coming back to try that next time.

Used them to cater my parents' 50th wedding anniversary party. Everyone loved the food! My favorite was the kibbeh- melt in your mouth good! Highly recommend for your next gathering!

We ordered carryout, and it was ready as quoted. The food was delicious and traveled well. The inside of the restaurant is clean and has great decor. 1. Wings - these were prepared well, with great texture and crisp, and the seasonings were on point. (5/5 ) 2. Hummus - prepared well and the spices added to the flavors. (5/5 ) 3. Gyro - be prepared for a lot of food! The meat was falling off the pita, but great flavors and a little messy. (5/5 ) 4. Chicken Shawarma platter - the chicken was and the accompanying sides paired nicely. (5/5 ) Overall, great food and friendly service. We will be adding it to our restaurant rotation.

It's also nice and clean and very pleasant inside,with plenty of parking and the food was nicely priced and did NOT break the bank. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!!

I'll save you some time - definitely worth the trip! Visited this unique middle eastern restaurant Christmas Eve and was blown away by the fresh ingredients and flavorful food! There was no wait luckily and we were told we could pick anywhere to sit which was refreshing. The ambiance wasn't anything spectacular but the food was delicious! My partner and I both got the chicken kabob meal - which comes with a salad and rice. The kabob and rice were hot and tasty, and the salad was exceptionally fresh! To top it all off the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning.

This place is amazing! The moment we walked in the beautiful lady working the counter made us feel so welcomed! She was so helpful and joyful! This place is a small family owned business with exceptional customer service and awesome food! We ordered: a Gyro Combo, Chicken Shawarma Sandwich Combo, and Chicken Tenders Combo, and Hummus. All the combos came with French Fries and your choice of a fountain drink or a drink from the refrigerator. Everything was absolutely delicious, moist, and fresh! The atmosphere is welcoming. The place is clean with lots of lighting. The decor is beautiful and authentic and the music was authentic and really added to the experience. They have indoor and outdoor seating, as well as take out available. I highly recommend this place! We will be back and tells others about it.

Delicious!!! I could seriously eat here every day! The food was fresh and fast and the lady running the restaurant was so nice! They have a bunch of plants that are beautiful and make the whole place very inviting and even give free Qurans for anyone! We had the family meal for 2 with chicken, beef and lamb and hummus, baba ganoush and falafel. The meal comes with salad and rice. It was so good!

Updating to 5 stars because this place just keeps getting better. i've been back several times since my last review and tried nearly everything. Kofta kabobs, shawarma, gyros, and tabbouleh are probably the best i've had outside of NYC. Great people, always friendly and happy to see me. Takeout is always fast even when i don't call ahead.

Don't be fooled by the modest appearance of this place. The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fast. We ordered the Al Zaytuna appetizer mix to try a little of everything. We had never tried some of the foods. They were all wonderful and fresh. We also ordered the mixed kabob sampler platter which also turned out to be fantastic. Try it and you will be back!

Disappointing. Why? Because 1. the reviews are 5 star, so expectation was set, and 2. I already have a high expedition for Middle Eastern cuisine. Growing up in the metro Detroit area, which has the highest concentration of Arab Americans in the nation, you get spoiled and used to amazingness. Al Zaytuna fell quite short of that. Service: not good, maybe because she had only been there a week, but she was unfamiliar with menu items, asked me questions that didn't correlate to what I ordered, and she asked me to carry a huge napkin holder, in addition to other items, to eat outside, having to make several trips since there were no trays? Uhh... Food: sigh. Ordered the chicken fattoush, was so excited...but if you know fattoush, you will be sad. There was no lemon in the dressing...just tasted like canola or vegetable oil, the squeezed lemon juice is what gives fattoush an effervescence... In addition, the chicken was dry, and the combo of both these defects made me want to stop eating about halfway through the meal, it was that unappetizing. Prices are good though! So, if you know your fattoush, you should avoid it. If you have limited experience with this cuisine, you might like this place.

Overall the place was "Eh".‍ The ambiance was very weird. They had the movie sausage party (rated R-MPAA) playing on the Tv which is very inappropriate for a restaurant where kids can eat but also shows how sad it is for grocery food to be eaten. It didn't make me want to eat my food as much. The food was okay. The falafel was extra crunchy with tiny bits in it that hurt my teeth. The rice had a weird taste to it and probably needed more salt. I would have preferred it in a big bowl so I could mix the sauce, rice and falafel better. The baklava was good though! The major red flag that made me never want to come back was when I went to get my drink, a swarm of gnats flew off of the ice tea dispenser. They either didn't clean it, or have a gnat problem they to address. It makes me wonder how many of them are in the kitchen too

The food is absolutely flavorful, tasty, delicious and just so authentic! The food tastes home cooked and not like other average restaurant that will mass produce and cut back on quality and flavor. The staff is extremely sweet and welcoming! Al Zaytuna Grill is a hidden gem, one that I and my family will come back to many times! Definitely the kind of restaurant I will bring my out of town friends and family to and have no doubt they will all love it.

I was walking from getting my bogo deal at another store/back to my car. The aroma from this location (know now that it was here...want sure if from Mexican restaurant across street) was amazing....Had to walk in! Got the steak shawarma....excellent flavors and pretty decently sized! Will definitely come back here for lunch/dinner!

My mom and I went here a few months back and the workers were kind and friendly. Mom never had the items on the menu and they did a great job explaining the foods and making her feel comfortable enough to try it out. The food is always fresh and delicious. If you enjoy restaurants that tastes like its home cooking then I highly recommend this spot. There is plenty of seating, public restrooms, and beautiful music. I believe the music playing when we first ate in was Arabic (I could be wrong) but it was very catchy. Check this spot out!

What a gem! We've been coming to Bridgewater Falls for years and I had no idea this little spot was even here. It is a very unassuming little restaurant with family taking your order and cooking the food. The menu is simple, with various shawarma options in a pita or as a platter. We got chicken and beef shawarma in pita: so juicy and delicious, with lots of fresh cabbage and pickles. We also ordered what the menu claimed were homemade stuffed grapes leaves and they absolutely were--tasty and fresh, served with lemon. We will be back!

Got takeout and it was bomb. Gyro and chicken shawarma sandwich were the highlights but it was all good.

So clean and friendly! Tucked away in Bridgewater Falls by Best Buy. They had a place in Colerain for years. Family owned and run. Ordered the Greek salad with grilled chicken. Really wanted the fries but refrained. Amazing salad! At least 1lb chicken! Everything so fresh and flavorful!

After several days of Americanized food (goetta, barbecue, southern, etc), I needed to get a bit more foreign- Al Zaytuna hit the spot. Placed a GrubHub order when leaving the gym and came in to pickup. Ended up dining in, couldn't finish my meal. The chicken shawarma sandwich seemed to be a favorite based on reviews, so I ordered that and customized with half hummus and half baba ganoush, based on Erikamarie's recommendations. Staff didn't seem to be able to accommodate but the protein was well seasoned and staff brought out a cucumber sauce (tasted similar to a ranch) as well. I really like the traditional stuffed pita (rather than rolled or folded, as found elsewhere) and fresh vegetables, particularly the marinated onions.

We love good Mediterranean food! When visiting from out of town we heard about Al Zaytuna. We decided to give it a try. The chicken kabob plate was my favorite. The lamb is also delicious. The fries were nice and crispy. I'm overall very impressed. My only gripe was the steak kabob. The steak was a bit over cooked for our liking.

Get the Grape Leaves, they are fantastic. I also enjoyed the beef shish kabob platter. Service is incredibly friendly and does a great job of insuring a proper order. This is definitely a great place to order takeout. The rent must be cheap, Al Zaytuna is in the middle of a small plaza off the larger Colerain Hills Plaza. There are several other businesses in this building and the parking lot is completely full and not well cared for. Very hard to get in and out and not many parking spaces.

This is one of my favorite spots. It's located in Colerain so usually go when I am in that part of town. It's family that runs this spot and they are friendly. I have never eaten in but would if time permitted. I get the chicken Shawarma with fries and a drink. I have also gotten the platter before. They make everything to order so you have to wait which is fine. I love the shawarma. The seasoning is great and is the best that I have had. The fries are okay. The platter is really good as well. Love the sauce that comes with it. As one of my go to spots, I plan to be a regular at this restaurant. I love the flavor of the food. Appreciate that it's a family restaurant.

Saw this on a Tjmaxx binge and decided to finally give it a try today. Glad we did. Very delicious food that is not heavy on the stomach as most restaurants are in the US. Taste very fresh, healthy and it's seasoned well. The kabob platter was delicious and only need a little of the Greek sauce to add some moisture to it. The chicken shawarma sandwich was the best out of the two option we got. Fairly small interior but they also have a few tables outdoors. Great place in the midst of a million, boring chain restaurants. Definitely will be going back.

The food is delicious: we had a burger, chicken tenders, and fries. Each was really really good. And the decor is lovely too and the bathrooms are also clean. The service is friendly and didn't take long to bring out the food. I highly recommend this place.

Al Zaytuna is one of those unassuming places in a strip mall that you would glance at and think to yourself "I bet that place is good." You'd be right. You can tell that Al Zaytuna is family-owned. They do a great job of making you feel like part of the family. First things first: HOLY VALUE, BATMAN. Like lots of mediterranean food, Al Zaytuna is VERY affordable. I believe my Chicken Shwarma was about $6.50. I came with a colleague and we split some hummus as well. I also tried a piece of her falafel (which was some of the best I've had). The pita bread was soft and fluffy. I'm seriously going to be craving this food again in a couple days. While it's a bit of a hike from me, I will absolutely drive out of my way to come back to Al Zaytuna!

The negative reviews are insane (no offense), this family and their food are incredible. I've loved this place since back when it was on Colerain, it's my most favorite Middle Eastern restaurant in Cincinnati/tri-state area. Everything is amazing (seriously), especially the kofta

I love hole in the wall restaurants or places that you would never have thought of trying! This was actually my first time trying Greek food and I was in the area for a meeting so my friend and I decided to try it out. It was very quiet but also a weekday afternoon. The owner immediately greeted us and was extremely nice throughout the entire visit. I decided to play it safe and ordered Falafel and Hummus. Both dishes were extremely fresh an delicious. The pita and hummus melted in my mouth and I was shocked that I never had Falafel before. I even had half of each dish leftover for lunch the next day and it still tasted amazing. I even asked for another Tzatziki sauce to go - no shame ;)

We were craving some Middle Eastern food for lunch today. I asked for a chicken shawarma pita, & it was excellent! The chicken seemed to be good quality, & the shawarma seasonings were the part that won me over. I could detect many different spices working together to lead to a totally satisfying flavor. My wife got a falafel pita & thought it was just average. My son got the gyro pita & enjoyed it very much.

My first time eating here. Tucked away on the back side of the mall on Princeton Rd. I ordered falafel, fattoush and a Greek salad with gyro meat. Everything was delicious, and it way too much to eat, so had to take some home. Service was friendly and attentive. Very clean and good atmosphere. I have been neglecting Mediterranean food the last few years, but this place gave me a good reason to rediscover it, and I will be returning on a regular basis.

This place is absolutely amazing. My family is Armenian from Iran and we thought this HIT the spot! We got: falafel platter, beef shawarma platter, kofta kabob platter, hummus, tabbouleh, and their bottled yogurt drink, and baklava. The falafel was so moist!!! The girl says the mom makes the falafel every morning! AMAZING! The kofta was so good and had great spices! The rice was amazing and not overcooked. The sides were all so great! The tabbouleh was literally Chopped right before it hit our table so it was very fresh and light and great. The hummus was amazing! My mom said it reminds her of her recipe for hummus from her family. The baklava is homemade by the girl's mom! It was great! Not soggy at all and lots of layers and flaky! Overall great experience!
