After a rather lack lustre few days at Raffles the Palm in Dubai - as soon as the valet opened our car door, we knew things were about to DRASTICALLY improve! ||We booked this hotel when it was operating as an Oberoi (our favourite hotel chain in the world) so were a little concerned when we were informed they were moving away, and feared their usual immaculate levels of service would be compromised. That concern was forgotten within about 30 seconds of arriving!||From check-in, to check-out - every moment of our time at this hotel was simply gorgeous. The staff, the room, the beach, the food (seriously, the food!!!) - perfection. ||We booked the entry-level room type, which was incredibly spacious and more than adequate for our stay, however I was lucky enough to be shown some of their larger suites and villas during a short tour - and they are beautiful. If you are travelling with friends or family, they would be perfect. Private, spacious and come with access to the hotels fabulous facilities. ||We didn't visit Ajman itself, couldn't drag ourselves away from this hotel, but it appears there is an awful lot of development happening here. Let's hope it doesn't become too built up and busy, as at present, it's such an idyllic spot.||It'll be interesting to see how the resort develops this year under its new management, they will have some work to do to maintain the Oberoi's high standards that still shine through brightly. We will be back to find out for sure!||Our only regret, booking 5 nights in Dubai and 3 here, should have just gone for the full 8 nights here! ||If you value personal service, quiet luxury and delicious food - book this hotel today, you will not regret it. A huge thanks to the team for making us feel so welcome, and incredibly reluctant to leave!
