Alacena de Las Monjas Restaurante

First we were told that the rice we ordered was gonna take around 20 minutes. For a three people party they were not able to serve all the food at the same time so I was there eating by my own while my parents were just staring at me waiting for their food, that arrived well after I finished. for the main course I ordered fish that was served raw so it went back to the kitchen and the manitas de cerdo we ordered were not that good. The rice dishes were good though but definitely not worth it the price. We won't come back and we do not recommend it.

The service was awful, it looked messy. Everyone was literally running inside the restaurant, and it didn’t look nice. I asked for a table for one and they most of the time ignored my presence (not sure because I was wearing casual outfit or bc I was just one person and they thought it was ok not to pay attention). One of the lady waitresses was just rude. At the end while paying they even left the card machine on my table to go and do other stuff, really weird. The food was ok. I gave two stars because of the starter I had (forgot the name) and the arroz negro was not any special. I’d suggest to treat your clients equally and nicely. After feeling not attended I lost appetite for the dessert and left.

Located in a small square in the centre of the city (not in the touristic and crowded centre) Alacena de Las Monjas offers a perfect service and amazing food. The price is worth the peacefulness and the relaxed atmosphere of this restaurant. I would definitely recommend it.

Worth the visit. Didn't have a good experience with the grouper, but other than that the octopus with seaweed was just amazing!! Great service, adorable little plaza.

Excellent service. Fresh house salad and a delicious cod confit for a main. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Also very pleasant eating in the plaza

Without reservation, we were sat in the bar but the service and food tonight was quiite good, though the tuna in tuna salad was a little fishy.

Very disappointing. Sat at the bar, service was lackluster and food was expensive. Not deserving of Michelin recommendations at all. Avoid.
