We stayed in the villa which was beyond amazing. The building itself is stunning, beautifully furnished and very comfortable with superb views over the valley. The location is fabulous as its away from the hustle and bustle of down town Ubud but only 20 minutes or so by car. The staff are super friendly and very efficient and the restaurant food was excellent as well. We could see ourselves settling in there for a couple of weeks no problem. There is a full kitchen as well if you want to self cater. The guided walk with Putu was fantastic and very informative. Excellent library as well.

My husband and I recently stayed at this delightful and pristine hotel for 3 nights. We stayed in the Pacah room which was very spacious with its own verandah and large bathroom. Our room and the hotel in general is very well maintained and very clean. The pool is very large so even if the hotel has several guests, privacy and space are assured. Many tours can be arranged with the friendly front office staff and all staff members cannot do enough to please its guests. Food choices were adequate and tasty. The vegetation around the hotel is lush and established and they even have their own organic garden from where seasonal produce is picked for use in the kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next stay here.

I had a great four day stay at Alam Sari. The nature walk was very informative showing local spices, herbs and vegetables in the hotel's organic garden before moving on through local rice paddies and their lovely views. |My room was lovely, the meals at the restaurant were wonderful, a lovely large pool enabled good relaxation. |The local Balinese staff were welcoming and looked after us very well - indeed the hotel had a friendly atmosphere. As one of the first resorts it has an authentic Balinese style complete with its own Hindu Temple (which is used by the staff) and a purification ceremony. |Waking up at dawn to see sunrise over the forest with Mount Agung in the background was beautiful. |I came here for a yoga retreat - my second here - I can't imagine a nicer venue. |I'm returning for the Ubud Writers and Readers. |

We really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are clean. AC worked well. Service was great. Everyone was really helpful. We arrived late in the evening due to traffic from the airport. When we arrived the restaurant had already closed. The two overnight security guards offered to give us a ride on their motor bikes to a very small local stand to get a bite to eat. We were starving and incredibly grateful. ||||Free walking tours and shuttles to central Ubud. The walking tour was really insightful. We went through the back-alleys of the town and learned so much about the people and the culture there in Bali. || Breakfast in the morning is also fantastic. Would definitely come back in the future.

We were privileged to spend several days recently in the Villa at Alam Sari Keleki. Nestled in a tropical paradise this eco friendly hotel offers stunning views out over the tropical Bali countryside across rice paddies and beyond. The restaurant meals were lovely and the staff very friendly and accommodating. The organic garden tour and village walk both very informative Shopping trips into Ubud were easily arranged. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alam Sari . Thankyou. Very happy couple from NZ)

This place is obviously a hotel that has had it's struggles staying alive since COVID, as some of the facilities were closed permanently. That aside, the staff was amazing, they were kind and helpful and I felt very taken care of. The breakfast offered is simple but good, just fruit, toast, and eggs. There is a driver on site that is super great for giving recommendations and way more reliable than gojek. Obviously it's a little more than gojek, but if you negotiate beforehand it is, in my opinion, a good deal. It's very quiet and the rooms were clean and the bed comfy. It's not a fancy resort, it's very "tucked away in the jungle vibes", and because it's on a hill you have to take many steps to get to the top, but the location is good to go to south Ubud or to the Rice Terrace, lots of waterfalls, and the monkey forest. Overall a great stay.

Beautiful place and nice staff, the free walk around the terraces and the village was great. Clean rooms, well-kept chlorine-free pool. Organic food from own garden was good but overpriced. Some breakfast options were good, but the fruit salad for example was tiny. All options include huge croissants + lots of coffee/tea in a pot. Free shuttle to Ubud three times a day, free water refills.

We were lucky enough to be able to share a few days with a lovely family through the Alam Sari Homestays. We were unsure of where to go initially but our taxi dropped us off at the Alam Sari Resort where we were welcomed and permitted to use their pool facilities. This was very refreshing.||||We were then picked up by Putu (our host) who was a lovely gentle man full of enthuisiasm and kindness. He was very eager to share his life with us and we eagerly listened and learnt. We also spent some time at the Keliki Art School were we learnt a little about Keliki art. What a beautiful form of art work it is- labour intensive with a great attention to detail. Highly recommend you have a look at it.||||Our first evening was spent with Putu, and his family- his daughter spoke lovely English. We learnt more about their religious beliefs and the many offerings that they were preparing. We had a lovely evening with this very warm and generous family.||||Unfortunately for us we were at Alam Sari for one of their most important religious days which meant that there were prior commitments that the family had so we were unable to spend more time with them on this occasion.||||The room we had was comfortable with a lovely outdoor area to sit and enjoy the tasty home cooked breakfast. Showers did not have hot water, though this was not really an issue as weather was very hot. Room was equipped with a fan. The Alam Sari Resort is a 15 minute walk away and we were able to utilise their pool facilities and restaurant.||||It would be useful to have your own transport as the homestay is a bit isolated from other things. It was only a 15-20 minute drive to the beautiful Tegalalang Ricefields.||||We felt very honoured to meet such lovely people and to be welcomed so warmly into their family compound. Thank you.
