Great place for breakfast while you're in town. The crepes are wonderful as is the fresh juice. The bread basket is a bit of a letdown, but if you steer clear of that you'll enjoy both your meal and the really lovely shaded veranda it's served under.

This is an excellent place! Start with the outdoor restaurant; great food, good wine menu. A hangout for the French Community as well as the many NGO's and Oil Company reps in Yangon. Very eclectic interesting groups there.
The rooms are absolutely charming; spacious and outfitted to let you know you are in Burma; down to the mosquito nets over the beds. And quite reasonably priced.
Add a Zen-like garden and it all adds up to an exceptional experience.

Excellent food in an old world outdoor covered dining area. It is surrounded by trees and you feel like you are in a Jungle hideaway especially when he heavens open and the rain pours down. It isn't the cheapest place to eat in the area but it is a nice occasional place to meet friends and enjoy a few drinks and some great food.
We are told by people who have stayed there that the hotel itself is worth staying in too.

Posting about the Alameda inn restaurant. Had a great experience here, the décor and atmosphere were great and probably best described as outdoor colonial or Swiss family robinson... Not sure if that is a real thing. Very open covered outdoor seating with a good mix of small and large tables to accommodate many group sizes. Food is good and is French and Moroccan.

What an amazing stay !! The French bohemian flair, lavish gardens and fantastic restaurant makes it a complete winner!! You'll never say that you are in Yangon, or a city in fact. Friendly caring staff and a super special stay. Thank you so much ❤❤

Very calm and serene area to while away the hours. Breakfast is delicious and very good value. One of the few places in Yangon where you can escape air conditioning. Popular on Sundays. Recommended

Lovely natural environment to sit and eat. Prices could be reviewed, food good, some dishes could be reinvented and improvised for the prices charged. The low sitting area is a good place to get if a group of 4 or more... allows you to chillax!

Excellent restaurant, staff and ambiance. Food and drinks were fantastic. Not crowded, and table were nicely spread apart. Had the beef tartare, couscous, tartiflette. nothing discounted. Desserts were also very good. And Calvados as a digestive is an added bonus!
