Alamanda Palm Cove by Lancemore

We stayed in a Beach Front room on the first floor for 5 nights. Amazing view, great 1 bed apartment, spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. Great location and some lovely bars and restaurants that you can walk to for dinner. I loved the Yoga every morning and used the Spa services twice and had top class service. All in all a wonderful trip and the staff at the Alamanda were all very helpful

We stayed at Alamanda Resort for a week and thoroughly recommend it. The unit was very spacious, clean and very well equipped. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows were too. A soft or a firm option (good idea). The resort provided folding chairs which came in handy for using at the beach and the pool was lovely for a swim. Being situated at the very southern end of Palm Cove is an advantage as it provides absolute beach frontage, while being quieter than other areas at night. We loved our stay and will visit again in the future.

Alamanda Palm Cove - amazing! We were looking for a recharge and boy did we come to the right place! Service was fantastic. We had a beach front apartment where the view was spectacular. It was huge and well laid out, giving up space to completely relax. We swam in the adults only pool at the front of our apartment every day and lounged on the lawn chairs along the grassed front reading. |The place was so peaceful and relaxing, restaurant beautiful - paradise!

Stayed at the Alamanda Palm Cove for 10 nights and loved every minute. The photos do not do it justice, the location is perfect. Included yoga on the beach is a real bonus, and the pool facilities are extremely comfortable. The only problem we had was that the rooms were a little dusty but after flagging this with the staff, who were all great, it was attended to in a timely manner.

We are a couple in our early 60's and have visited Palm Cove many times over the years. We have stayed in various properties during our visits, mostly along Williams Esplanade, including the up-market Reef House, Peppers Beach Club and Drift. Alamanda has become our firm favourite.||We recently stayed again for 5 nights in a 2-bedroom, pool-view apartment and just like last year, everything about our stay was perfect. From the communications prior to arrival, and the smooth, after-hours, check-in process, to the considerate, "heads-up" about our need to change our departure transfers (impacted by the Cairns Ironman event), the front office team was very friendly and efficient. Whilst staff members do change, we've found this standard of friendly professionalism to be consistent over the years.||The location of the Alamanda is as good as it gets at Palm Cove. The attached beachfront restaurant, Nu Nu, is not to be missed and the recent opening of a well-stocked, local grocery store / cafe next door on Veivers Road (open to 9pm every night), has made the location even better! The store was so well stocked it even sold distilled water for CPAP machines - an unexpected convenience for us.| |We've stayed in Alamanda's beachfront apartments and the pool-view apartments, and whilst they're not brand new, we've never had any problems and have found all of the apartments we've stayed in to be clean, large and well-equipped. Last year when we stayed the main pool area was undergoing major renovations. It's now been completed and the area looks great! The pool was never too busy and provided a lovely, relaxing, resort-style ambience during the day and night.||The Alamanda is not the cheapest option at Palm Cove, but on this occasion we were able to secure a great deal for our stay during an Easter "flash sale", so we definitely felt we scored great value for our money.||The Alamanda is clearly not a Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton hotel, however we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, again, and have no hesitation in rating this property 5 out of 5 stars. We very much look forward to returning next year!

Loved it! Beautiful place to stay with attention to the finer details - iced fruit tea in reception, chocolates and a hand written note, comfy bed and pillow, lovely apartment amenities. The view! Who can get past the view. We will be back some day!

Absolutely loved our stay. Staff were outstanding. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Location is exceptional, right on the water with magical palm fringed views. Onsite Nu Nu restaurant was delicious and open for Breakfast Lunch and Dinner, plus the added bonus all shops and cafes being within walking distance. Thank you for memorable stay!
