For my 5th visit to St Martin, I had high hopes for this resort. Close to some very good restaurants, cafes, beachbars and small grocery store. The rooms are recently renovated very nice and modern, sad they only give 1 towel and 1 pillow per person. We had to ask for blankets as there was only a top sheet on the bed. Fairly clean rooms except under the bed. Much better on the 2nd floor as it has decent views. Some of rooms back onto the bars and restaurants which some nights blast music until 3am. No beach chairs provided by them so you will have to rent at 30 euros per day for 2 people. Other hotels nearby provide chairs and umbrellas. The pool is a decent size, but enough loungers. The current concerige and property management are fraudulent. They tell you your security deposit is only a card print but still post the charge. They do not return your security deposit. They blame and accuse when you find a defective tv in your unit after check in. We asked a couple of days before visiting if there was a seaweed problem, the concerige said there wasn't any, but as we arrive... YES seaweed. Too bad... nice place but I would not recommend solely on who represents this resort and the constant seaweed.
