The very sad state of Alamanda. When it used to be vibrant and lively (@and pre-IOI City), the mall was used to be full with people and the offerings were good but as competition came in the form of DPulze, or the glaringly better and all in one stop centre the IOI City Mall, this mall failed to compete and faded in offering niche attraction aside of what it has. Currently under "renovation" (it's been like a long while now), let's see how it would be able to lure back what was once to be it's market, and they better offer niche and different but diverse representations from IOI City Mall, otherwise, pity to it's tenants like those in these pictures where you are unable to attract the footfall to this mall...

A fairly small shopping mall on two levels. Quite boring in design and a very limited food court that basically offers fast food.

It is not crowded and still have many eating outlets.Parking is easy. Loved to come here. But it is not crowded. Parking is ample. That is the positive part of Alamanda compared to other malls nearby. Note: newly renovated 🥰

Alamanda Shopping Centre – February 2025 Update Alamanda has undergone major renovations, both inside and out, giving the mall a fresh, modern look. The newly renovated areas have just opened, offering a more spacious shopping experience with an expanded selection of retailers, including both new brands and well-established names. The most exciting additions are the upcoming Escape's outdoor theme park, a new bowling alley, and an upgraded cinema, making Alamanda not just a shopping destination but a full-fledged entertainment hub. A great place for families and shoppers alike.

Yelp
It was my first time traveling to Putrajaya for a work assignment and I had to parked at Alamanda Shopping Centre because the hotel parking (where the event was held) was already full. I expected the parking rates for Alamanda to be at a premium rate, but I was wrong. It was only RM2 for the first two hours and subsequently is RM1 per hour. Not bad I thought. After the event, I had a stroll in the mall and took a pit stop at the toilets. That was when I had quite a shock. As I was about to wash my hands, the water that flow from the tap was brown in colour. I couldn't believe my eyes and tried another one, and it was the same! Oh the horror! I was disgusted and went to look for a place to wash my hands properly. So happened I pass a McDonald's. I went in shamelessly to wash my hands, hoping the water won't turn out brown. Thank goodness it wasn't. I washed my hands and left the mall, once and for all. I do not intend to visit Alamanda again after that foul experience. The mall has pretty high end retailers but their toilets, I would rather stay away from.
