A three-story boutique with an in-house atelier up top that produces a namesake label rivaling anything else on their racks. Rick, Issey, Junya, Wales Bonner, etc.—always something with a little flair. Post-2020 this was the last place in Boston you could still find Raf. A+ customer service every time.

First time in my life I’ve deliberately been sold two shoes from different pairs! At first, I thought it was just a mistake, so I returned to the store to get the correct shoe. But I got told it was no mistake and that's why they were discounted, let me laugh ! Thankfully, I noticed they were mismatched before wearing them, so I was able to get a refund and that's why I give 2 stars. I didn’t even realize it when trying them on because honestly, who would ever expect to be given two different shoes? While your shop looks great, this felt like a scam to get rid of unwanted stock. It wasted my time and really pissed me off.

My favorite place to shop in Boston. Wide range of selection with prices ranging for everyone. A place that makes you feel like home. Staff is the best and is super accommodating. This is a must go if you are in Boston

I bought a shoe from here two months ago and this veja brand shoes opened and they said they can't get a refund this is a very sad situation friendly people but their shoes are bad and they don't take returns. Do not shop here because if there is a problem they will not take care of you after the sale.

The man behind the counter was quite rude- He radiated a pretentious attitude that made me feel unwelcome. I was excited about the wide selection of brands but upon entering it felt as though I was not supposed to be there. As a young fashion interested student I do not recommend shopping here - ruins the sentiment of the designers they carry!

Guy behind the counter was annoying and unhelpful, asked about an untagged item and he couldn’t provide any info. When I found the tag for the jacket he stood there and held the tag and wouldn’t leave. After I told him I didn’t need his assistance he proceeded to stand there holding the tag just looking at me. I pulled out my phone to write down the item number and he snapped at me saying I couldn’t write down the item number (can’t take pics but there’s no sign saying you can’t write down item numbers)

The staff is extremely helpful and kind . The store is very well stocked with the latest fashions . Alan Bilzerian’s is our first stop when we hit the city. Alan is very accommodating and makes sure you feel welcomed .

Sadly this is the only place around with such a selection. Rude associates & overpricing make it a bitter experience at best. Place is rather mocked in the Carol community. Shop online elsewhere.

We love the line-up of designers (Rick Owens is one of our faves, but also the likes of Watanabe, Layer 0, Avant Toi, Guidi, CC Poell, as well as their awesome house labels AB Private Label and Lana Bilzerian👍👍). Great service that is discreet, very helpful, knowledgeable, and wonderful to talk and share fashion passions with. While the store’s footprint is small, the offerings (Mens downstairs/Womens upstairs) are amazing to venture, try out, puzzle and bring home! Looking forward to many returns whenever in town. Their offerings are unique in Boston: great curation and array like no other!

Yelp
Terrible customer service - orders cancelled for no apparent reason. No follow up either. Concepts next to it does it right!

Yelp
I bought online from Alan a beauttiful and rare pare of Y-3 shoes.Great communication with the staff, fast shipping and on top of that they offer me further discount.I was surprised when i read the letter from him,in hand written thanking me for shopping from his store. I strongly recommend.Shop with confidence. Thank you Alan!

Yelp
I was in search of a certain designer sweater and noticed it on-line at this shop. The shop looked fantastic and I quickly took note to make this a visitation site. FORGET THAT! I bought the sweater and the size small was still way too large. The store won't take it back or give me a store credit because the item was on sale. What on-line shopping doesn't have a return policy? So every item I buy on sale I must be 100% certain it's going to fit? It's the internet - nobody has a "no return" policy. Not going here again - and the customer service wasn't at all a pleasant experience.

Yelp
One of the most interesting boutiques of Boston. Unlike some "Hypebeast" stores, their selection is thoughtful, ranging from Rick Owens to more obscured artisanal brands such as Guidi, Diciannoveventitre, and many more. The store looks very norma from the outside but once you're in, it gives a vibe of something similar to Diagon Alley with full of surprises .

Yelp
Service and selection have always been impeccable. If you are looking for something classy, maybe a bit out of the ordinary, and well made then this is the place. I always like that they carried cool Japanese and European fashion designers such as Yohji Yamamoto. The first really cool trench coat I bought was there - and I still have it almost 30 years on along with just about everything else I bought there!

Yelp
Kid, I got a Bikkembergs wallet here when I was like fifteen and it was friggin awesome. The help got kind of a stick up their ass. DGAS though, still recently got my tux slippers there-and they ruled. Also, the shoe selection is surprisingly less retarded than the rest of the Gordon Gartrell-ass places in Boston. All the clothes for that matter. If I can imagine being in there shopping by myself I'm psyched on the place. If I have to be in there with Francois Fashion I'm Gone in 60 seconds.

Yelp
The best store in the world. I've been shopping here since college...and have shopped all over the world. Nothing like it anywhere.

Yelp
This is the finest boutique in the city; known to buyers from all the major department stores, Alan has an eye for what will be the popular brand/style a year(s) before it hits the pages of any American magazine. From the classic European designers to ultra hip designers from Japan, they carry clothing that you thought you would have to travel around the world to even have the option of buying. (not everything can be bought online) A trip into Alan Bilzerian will make you think twice the next time you go shopping for clothing and accessories. You will not find a more friendly and product aware staff as you'll find at Alan Bilzerian; they are what so many boutiques strive for, but never reach. Only a few shops in London and Tokyo remotely rival this place (nothing in NYC comes close!) ::to know:: -they sell formal and casual. -men's on the first floor, women's on the second. -expect an honest opinion from the staff, they aren't into the pressure selling. -ask for help if you need it -the key is to interact with the staff.

Yelp
The best clothing store in the world. Seriously, and let me explain why: Customer service and selection that cannot be matched elsewhere. John is remarkable. This is the kind of place that tells you the truth about how you look in something even if you kind of want it but are not sure that it looks good on you. You trust their honesty and good taste so much that you always leave with great clothes that look terrific on you, fit your style, and make you not want to shop anywhere else. Seriously. Play by their rules and you will never feel better about yourself or about spending big bucks on nice clothing.

Yelp
If you want personalized service and the best Boston has to offer in women's REAL fashion ..this is the only place to go.. Dotty is a treasure...reminds me of shopping in Paris...she not only leads you to the best fashion expression of yourself ...she invites you go to a higher level of what you want to say...because she takes the time to care!! I dont waste my time going anywhere else..if you want " cool" go here..

Yelp
Obviously the singular and oh-so-stellar review that's been up on Yelp for so long was a self-submission. This is the most overpriced, label-driven, stuck up store in Boston. They carry uber-predictable, tacky, au-moment designers that can easily be found at ANY high-end department store in Boston if you must. The "help" is useless and I would never make a purchase there after the way I was treated. On my first visit I was barely greeted or helped, I could sense their disinterest in me as a customer--surely due to my appearance. I had come from a casual afternoon out--but they didn't recognize the gucci jeans, tod's sneakers, prada nylon jacket. When I returned on a different day (forced to accompany a colleague) and VERY well dressed, I was treated completely differently. Obviously treatment is based on how much is ASSUMED one is going to spend. Tisk Tisk. It's a ridiculous store with overpriced label-driven junk that any typical American trust fund type would choose.
