Alandas Gelato

Another visit , as the menu and flavours are changing constantly, so it's good idea to try something new each time. Gelato is tasty and fresh , but price goes up every visit 🫣. I honestly know place's with as good gelato,and it's bellow 3£ offering nice big portions. I think fame = expansive.

Amazing hot chocolate, not the usual watery drink but the real deal. Fabulous range of delicious ice creams. Wish I lived nearer!!

Amazing shop with such a wide variety of delicious ice creams. Very popular and such a lovely spot. Appetizing for sure and very welcoming indeed.

Whenever I have visited here there is always a long waiting time. There are times of the day when its quiet and you can walk in, but if it's a sunny day, or a weekend then just be patient. It's worth it, one of Scotlands best Ice Creme shops. Just preplan your order as it can be a bit noisy when busy.

I've previously reviewed the Alandas in Edinburgh and found it wanting - maybe because I'm not a huge "rich" ice cream fan. This time though, I tried the sorbet - what a change in opinion! The tangerine sorbet was fresh and tangy, just lovely. I shall have more of this in the future. My friend had ice cream and was very happy with her order. Staff was friendly and patient, a must in a busy place.

Must visit a if you like your ice cream. Staff always lovely. Amazing flavours. Espresso was amazing and my old favourite mint choc chip. Could have picked 4 more flavours easily. I had a tub and wafer. Wife loved her cone.

What ever the weather is Ice cream, can’t say no… and makes it more better when is nice n sunny, if you guys visit North Berwick, dont miss this place… its lovely nice n friendly staff. Plenty flavor to choose.

Just a delight. Crowded for sure, for long periods of time. When I went, three young women scooped at a fevered but organized gait and all works. Great flavors, wonderful creaminess and delicious. Small is (1) scoop, medium, 2 and so on. This is a must stop when visiting.

Pretty disappointing gelato to be honest. We had a few and the flavors just weren't right (the Scottish strawberry was the best). It also felt more like ice cream not gelato.

This was the best gelato I've ever had!! :) I went back twice on my 4 day trip haha! The staff was also very quick & nice.

Just a wee shop full of many flavors. Gelato in a cone or cup to savor You may struggle the which to eat song Buts it's all good so you can't go wrong!

Nice staff, freshly made hot chocolate. Unfortunately the flavors were nothing special, not too flavorful, could have had higher fat content.

After passing by Alanda's for several months and thinking "Hmm... I must try that place sometime!" I decided that today would be a good time to try it out. As I walked up the street, I saw the queue that was snaking out the door and hoped that it would simmer down a bit by the time that we had eaten our tea. Thankfully, it had! I went inside and browsed the ice cream counters for a few minutes before deciding on going for the banoffee pie flavour, which was amazing! It was creamy, delicious and was actually handmade in shop which is a rarity for an ice cream shop! The layout reminded me of Mary's Milk Bar in Edinburgh. Although they don't offer those crazy hot chocolates or ice cream milkshakes, the ice cream itself is amazing and is not to be missed when you are in North Berwick. The scoop size was very generous and the ice cream completely filled my pot! It was a tad pricey though as it was £3 for a medium tub of ice cream. It always seems busy because I have seen the queues for this place and it would seem that all of Lothian is desperate to get their hands on a pot of Alanda's delicious gelato!

Best gelato I've ever had! Owner is lovely and can't recommend this exquisite little gelateria enough. Truly worth flying across the Atlantic and catching a train to North Berwick. I can confidently say that Alanda's is my favorite treat.

Boy North Berwick has something special to offer and this now includes Gelateria Alandas! Artisian Creamy flavours include Raspberry Pavlova and Honeycomb and these are just two of the phenomenal tasty sensations. I could get quite used to stopping by here for an ice cream. It's quite small though, so best getting your flavour and heading down the street to the harbour/beach and sit and enjoy the seaside view.
