Amazing service and ice cream Queues were long however were felt with quickly and efficiently. Ice cream selection is vast and the ice cream itself and fresh and flavourful. I got the vanilla flake and pistachio and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend and I will be back for more

Lovely store and usually with a long queue snaking out the door which is always a good sign. The staff are always super friendly and the service is quick. The only thing to note is that if you order two or more scoops, you'll notice that they will usually start with the biggest scoop of the cheapest option out of your choices (in our case, the mint choc chip), then the second scoop was significantly smaller (pistachio). That being said, the pistachio flavour has been our fave so far!

My worst ice cream experience ever . I have always bought ice cream from this Edinburgh shop, and I was excited to encounter it at North Berwick . This is how the nightmare began. After I chose my ice cream, the male staff member dropped some ice cream on the glass table before handing it to me. I couldn't believe it when he used a tool to scoop the dropped ice cream into another cup and then handed it to me. When he gave it to me, I said I didn't want it because it had fallen on the table, raising hygiene concerns. As I walked out of the store, the ice cream in the cone kept melting, making me look very awkward. This messy cone coats £6.5👎🏻👎🏻 I have never given a one-star review on Google Maps before, but this experience was just too terrible. Even though I love ice cream, I will never come back to this shop again.

A must visit treat when in North Berwick. Delicious pistachio and dark chocolate ice cream. There is normally a queue but the staff work efficiently to manage it. There are so many flavours to try you are spoiled for choice

BEST BEST BEST gelato I've had so far in Gelato. So many different flavours to choose from and really delicious! 🍨

Google
Excellent choice of flavours and the ice cream was top quality. Whisky caramel was a new one to me but was delicious. Reasonably priced too.

My wife and daughter went here while we were staying at North Berwick for a few days. I'm lactose intolerant so can't eat ice cream, however the staff said they make a dairy free sorbet and I could try that. I chose lemon and raspberry. Without a doubt the best sorbet I've ever tasted. The lemon was sharp and the raspberry sweet. Absolutely fantastic and full of flavour. Well worth a visit if you are ever in North Berwick.

I was there at the weekend and it was very busy but didn't have to wait too long, I found the ice cream to be nice but was a bit pricey but I can live with that. I asked for chocolate sauce only to be told it has to go in the tub first and by this point the ice cream was already in the tub, if this is a genuine rule then it should be stated on the menu or staff should inform customers when the order tubs. I personally think sauce shoupd go on top of the ice cream, especially when my girlfriend got sauce in the bottom of the tub and by the time had got to the sauce it was hard and unedible with the spoon that was provided with the ice cream, so there is no point paying £1 for sauce.

Yelp
Just a delight. Crowded for sure, for long periods of time. When I went, three young women scooped at a fevered but organized gait and all works. Great flavors, wonderful creaminess and delicious. Small is (1) scoop, medium, 2 and so on. This is a must stop when visiting.

Yelp
Pretty disappointing gelato to be honest. We had a few and the flavors just weren't right (the Scottish strawberry was the best). It also felt more like ice cream not gelato.

Yelp
Just a wee shop full of many flavors. Gelato in a cone or cup to savor You may struggle the which to eat song Buts it's all good so you can't go wrong!

Yelp
Nice staff, freshly made hot chocolate. Unfortunately the flavors were nothing special, not too flavorful, could have had higher fat content.

Yelp
After passing by Alanda's for several months and thinking "Hmm... I must try that place sometime!" I decided that today would be a good time to try it out. As I walked up the street, I saw the queue that was snaking out the door and hoped that it would simmer down a bit by the time that we had eaten our tea. Thankfully, it had! I went inside and browsed the ice cream counters for a few minutes before deciding on going for the banoffee pie flavour, which was amazing! It was creamy, delicious and was actually handmade in shop which is a rarity for an ice cream shop! The layout reminded me of Mary's Milk Bar in Edinburgh. Although they don't offer those crazy hot chocolates or ice cream milkshakes, the ice cream itself is amazing and is not to be missed when you are in North Berwick. The scoop size was very generous and the ice cream completely filled my pot! It was a tad pricey though as it was £3 for a medium tub of ice cream. It always seems busy because I have seen the queues for this place and it would seem that all of Lothian is desperate to get their hands on a pot of Alanda's delicious gelato!

Yelp
Best gelato I've ever had! Owner is lovely and can't recommend this exquisite little gelateria enough. Truly worth flying across the Atlantic and catching a train to North Berwick. I can confidently say that Alanda's is my favorite treat.

Yelp
Boy North Berwick has something special to offer and this now includes Gelateria Alandas! Artisian Creamy flavours include Raspberry Pavlova and Honeycomb and these are just two of the phenomenal tasty sensations. I could get quite used to stopping by here for an ice cream. It's quite small though, so best getting your flavour and heading down the street to the harbour/beach and sit and enjoy the seaside view.
