Cute little Store that tries to provide everything you would need but that depends on the plane cargo and in summertime many planes get canceled.

Very very friendly employees! I had gone in and bought a cake and the check out lady made a hilarious joke about how "was I sure about getting a cake?" It was super funny she made me Crack up even if she wasn't laughing with me! Made my day 😂😂😂 five stars all the way!

This store has plenty of variety. The staff is nice and the food is fresh. The guy (Robert) that knocked two stars off because nobody told him it was cold in Barrow, sounds like an entitled child. Lastly, kids here are aloud to ride their bikes as much as they like. That has nothing to do with the store.

Keep in mind you're in Alaska so goods are going to be more expensive. The reason is that it takes longer for goods to get here, particularly in the northernmost city of North America. I will say though that they have a combination of some regular items as well as those same items in bulk. The meats aren't bad the produce I would recommend to consume as quickly as possible after you buy. They also sell boots, ice cleats, and other winter/ outdoor gear. All in all not a bad place to be your one stop shop for what you need.

Produce goes bad almost as soon as you get home. Prices so high you feel like you are making life decisions. You have to watch the dates on your food because they have many things still on shelf out of date. I bought a tube of ground turkey that expired in Sept. I didn't move here until the end of Oct. And cashier wouldn't refund it. Said I would have to come back and talk to manager. Considering the fact that it is a $12 taxi ride, wasn't worth the rtn trip. And to top it off, I purchased a sub sandwich from deli and got extremely sick behind it. ONLY grocery store here.

This is a small to mid size store for visitors but it is the largest store in Barrow. Like a small neighborhood Walmart. If you don't see something ask them to look it up to see if they have. They have most basic needs.

Super friendly employees. I heard some unfortunate news that they may be relocating from this excellent location. We shall see what comes of it for now. I'll continue shopping here every time I'm in Utqiagvik.

Great selection

Good selection. Friendly staff. Prices were better than I expected. I dropped in to buy snacks and items for lunch instead of going out. As I was visiting for work, I thought I'd just buy a few items. Yes, prices are a bit more since everything in Utqiagvik has to be air freighted in, but not so much that I was shocked. Clean. My yogurt lunch with nuts and a drink was delicious!
