I visited here for the first time, Colin and Niki were totally awesome workers. They got my wife and I set up with our first real bike ride in forever. They set up our bikes, helmets, and told us about the popular routes and which places to stop by for sightseeing. Price was also reasonable. Would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Anchorage for a short time like I am. Not sure which guy it was (Colin, or Niki?)but the taller of the two I really thought owned the place because of his knowledge of everything including bikes and the area. It was only his first week there. Very good ride, would highly recommend doing the 11 mile ride to Kincaid park (more like 10). You will most likely see wildlife, either moose, rabbits, bears, or whatever else they have in Anchorage.

Rented an e-fat-bike in January. The service was awesome, the bike was awesome, but the beauty of the coastal trail really blew me away! Had to go back the next day and rent again. And January is the off-season ? What am amazing place to shred around. Just make sure you dress warm and bring hand warmers.

We had an amazing time riding the trail! Pablo was so friendly as well as all the staff! If you are looking for a fun time in Anchorage you MUST visit Pablo’s Bicycle Rental! The bikes were super good quality and well maintained, the staff was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! We haven’t rode bikes in years nor have we been to Alaska prior; but we left with ALL the confidence and care from the staff! We will definitely be back anytime we are in town!

We had a lovely experience using Pablo's in Anchorage! We rented E-bikes for the Tony Knowles trail, and would not have wanted it any other way. The employees were very nice and helpful when we checked out the bikes and they made sure we knew how to get where we were going. Once on the coastal trail, we had a fabulous 3 hour ride, stopping at some of the parks and beaches along the way. The highlight of the day - we saw lots of moose (8 in total)! 🫎

We had such a great time! The rental process was easy, they went over the trail, how the electric bike worked as it was my first time using one and where we might see wildlife. No pressure on return time just get back before they close! We even seen a few moose on our adventure. Rode the entire coastline trail, stopped for plenty of pictures and still made it back within three hours. Worth every penny!! Don’t hesitate, just do it! I am a heavy set lady myself and had no problems!!! Go early in the day is my only suggestion less people more wildlife!

My husband and I did a last-minute, three hour E – bike rental today. We showed up without a reservation and were given nice bikes that were charged. (I’ll admit there was a large party coming in right after us so it would’ve been smarter to make a reservation) We were also given helmets in good condition and detailed instructions on how to get to the coastal trail. Before we move taking off, they made sure we understood how to use the equipment. On our return, they welcomed us back with smiles. We had a great 24 mile ride in three hours seeing lots of beautiful coastline as well as a moose. I would definitely recommend renting here!

My teenage son and I rented a couple of electric bikes for the coastal trail (which is a beautiful ride). Nikki from the bike shop was great. He not only helped make sure we understood how the bikes worked, but also took us through some slides to understand what we'd see on the coastal trail, and where to pay attention (e.g. where we might see Moose...which we did!...where to hang out to see airplanes land...did that also). Very friendly and the prices seem reasonable to me.

We walked in during our short visit to Anchorage. Gabe answered our questions about the e bikes and explained how they worked in simple terms. We had a blast going the length of the Tony Knowles trail where we saw the moose beside the trail. What a helpful staff and we saved quite a bit instead of renting through the ship excursion program.

I stopped by to rent a bike for the day and stopped to grab my Snow City Cafe order I placed for pick up before getting the bike. As I was walking back to my car, one of the employees came up to me and said "next time you can't use our parking for another business". My response was "oh yea I saw the sign..." but before I could finish (and say I was picking up my Togo order before coming here), he interrupted me and in a very rude tone said "oh so you did see the sign?". He then cut me off again saying that when I was trying to explain I WAS going to this business. I understand wanting to keep business that isn't yours out of your parking lot, but being rude is not acceptable. I told him that I was actually going to go to their business but because of his attitude, I'm no longer doing that. If you ever need advice on how to lose a customer, that's a great way to do it.

Excellence is the word I would use to describe them! The service is easy going, helpful and friendly. Their equipment is kept in tip top shape and everything is so clean. I would HIGHLY recommend Pablo's!

So glad that we did this when we came to Anchorage! We hopped on the Tony Knowles trail and took off with the electric bikes. It was a blast. We even got to see three moose! The staff were great. Plus they have free parking behind the building.

Friendly staff, ease of renting, and a great location - close to the Tony Knowles coastal trail. The Aventon e-bikes were a breeze to ride, quite manageable and enjoyable.

Niki was extremely helpful to me on a rainy cold day- the bike was in great condition and he told me exactly what to expect. Very nice guy and helpful even though it was a slow day for him.

The employees were very nice and helpful! They reviewed the map with us, shared some more about each of the spots along the coastal trail and were engaged with us throughout the experience. The bikes worked great and we loved our ride along the coastal trail. Would 100% recommend this if you're coming to Anchorage!

Starting with the shop: simple, clean, upbeat! They do have a bathroom, make sure to use it before you head out! Staff: the first girl who helped me (I don't know her name) was awful. She seemed like she was uncomfy with me asking questions about what type of bike to get and didn't have any good insights in to the coastal trail. The guy I worked with (Pablo's nephew) was great! He was knowledgeable about the trail, what to look out for, where to stop, and rescued me when my bike stopped working properly. He is the only reason I am not giving a lower rating! I rented a standard bike. I made it 0.3 miles from the shop when the chain completely broke. They brought me a new bike that was the same style. Both bikes looked beat up and clearly used hard. The second bike never quite shifted right, by the time I was half way back it wouldn't shift at all causing me to call and have a third bike brought to me. When that bike arrived I just wanted to be done, I was over it and thankfully Pablo's Nephew (I really wish I knew his name) took me back. He was very friendly and discounted me for the trouble. The e-bikes looked to be in better condition! So maybe try those!:)

Staff was very thorough in explaining all the options of where to ride. I like that you dont pay until you return the bike so you dont have to commit to a time frame up front. I saw ravens, water fowl, a couple moose and a baby moose!

Gabe was great. He got the bikes all set up and told us about the trail and where to go.

I rented a bike for an hour and it was a great experience. Affordable, the bike worked great, and I got to see a Moose on the ride! Kai and Luis helped me and they were both super friendly and efficient.

Riding a bike on the Costal trail is a must. That is the one place where I saw three moose. The folks that run Pablo's are very chill and get you in and out quickly. I tried the electric bike and it rocked. The hours were good and returns easy with a friendly staff. Go for it.

The Tony Knowles Multi Use Trail is one of the most popular activities in Anchorage. It's about 11 miles long one way and a popular way to see all of it is renting a bike. We Rented our bikes at Pablo's. There are a few choices but i ride bikes a lot and these are easily the best maintained. There are lower prices but the bikes might let you down. It's about $25 for three hours for a regular bike or $50 for electric. If you don't ride much, consider electric as there was surprisingly about 1000 feet of climbing on this coastline trail on the 22 mile total out and back. It took our group 2.5 to 3 hours on manual bikes Service was great We saw a Moose, Bald Eagle and the Kenai Alps across Prince William sound

Had a wonderful opportunity to rent two bikes during a father-son outing on a rainy day in October. Niki took care of us and he was stellar: helpful, nice and friendly, and gave great advice on where we could go (and how far we could get) before the rain set in. A truly enjoyable experience that I am glad to share with others visiting Anchorage. Thank you Niki!

We rented bikes here to go biking at the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail (around 12 miles one way so around 20+ miles round trip). The staff were helpful and informative. The staff will provide you with details on how to get to a path before you depart. Tip: make sure you ride around a little or so to ensure the bike is in good shape. We didn't notice the bike's crank issue until we got on the trail though. You can also call the the store and they will come and replace your bike. Bikes: They have a variety of different bikes from regular to electric bikes. We were able to get Trek bikes for our biking journey. The bikes come with a helmet which is nice that it's not additonal. Costs: The price will vary depending on how long you rent your bike and what type of bike your rent. They will charge you after you get back. We had 2 Trek bikes for the ride. We did ride it around in the parking lot to ensure that the bikes were in decent condition. However, one of the bikes was making sounds throughout the one way once we got to the trail and we realized that the crank was loose, dangerous. The staff ended up coming to us with another bike that we can use on the ride back. The bike I was riding starting making sounds on my ride back and the seats kept moving throughout my bike ride. The bikes had water bottle holders which was convenient to have. They didn't overcharge us on time since we waited 15+ mins to get a replacement bike before biking back. It would have been nice to be reimbursed more than $5 since the bike ride one way didn't seem stable for 1 bike. Overall experience, all the staff were helpful and I'd recommend for renting bikes.

Always an awesome experience! Keeps us coming back year after year. Gabe helped us at check-in and check-out, super nice dude went above and beyond, even while helping other groups. He was an absolute champ. We saw 5 moose on our 2 hour bike ride.

This ride on the Coastal Trail. A 3 hour ride we saw so so much wildlife! We saw a bull moose, a cow moose in the middle of the trail and a bear!! Great pictures. (Mini Pablo set us up well)

Pablo's is a great place for bike rentals if you are looking for it in Anchorage! I rented a bike for a few hours to go riding on the coastal trail, and it was a wonderful experience. Niki was extremely helpful and went over the trail with me as I was unfamiliar, pointing out the best sightseeing points and his advice even helped me get a moose sighting! My husband and I rented e-bikes on our last day in AK to bike the Coastal Trail. We only had a couple of hours before they closed, but we were able to get to mile 8 and back. Niki was great and very patient with all of my questions (not an avid biker here :) ). We had such a fun time and even had a few VERY CLOSE encounters with moose! 10/10 recommend this experience and Pablo's Bicycle Shop! thank you again Niki!

We were in Anchorage with some friends a few days ahead of our cruise the week of June 14-21. We had researched Pablo's online ahead of time, and riding the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail was on our list of "must do's" while we were there. We stopped in and met Pablo, who is so nice and helpful. We enjoyed our bike ride so much. We saw a cow moose and her baby, along with a black bear (who seemed really used to people but we didn't risk it), tons of coastal bird species, and some cute dogs who live near the trail (probably not native to the area though). I can't recommend this business highly enough. Pablo is an absolute delight and just seems to want everyone to enjoy themselves.

Awesome rental shop! Gabe was super helpful to make sure our experience on the trails was good and were to go to see wildlife. The E-mountain bikes we rented were fun to ride on the pavement and single track. they had great range to get us 23 miles of riding with plenty of battery on tap to spare!

My husband and I decided to bike to Serenity Falls at Eklutna Lake for a wedding over the weekend and we rented from Pablo's bikes. The bikes were great quality and handled a very rough trail, which was rainy and muddy on the way back. The guys at Pablo's rentals were extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. Big shout out to Aram, who handled our booking and took great care of us! Will definitely be back again

We rented bikes for the famed Coastal trail. The staff was very skilled and informative. We had a great time and safely made it back to the rental shop :). The shop is very conveniently located near the start of the trail.

A fully charged (instead of 50%) battery could be provided at the beginning of the ride so it won't run out. In that event, something more than a 5% discount on 2 3-hour rentals at $160 fee would make these customer (s) feel more appreciated.

We were there in July, 2025. The entire staff there was very nice, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. Anya was our first contact when we got there and she was fantastic getting in. Very nice and thorough with any information. The prices were very reasonable and we loved the Tony Knowles coastal . We would definitely. we would definitely recommend Pablo's in Anchorage to anyone.

Rented two adult bikes to bike the Tony Knowles coastal trail. Walked in around 10:30am on a Tuesday without a reservation. The attendant was very friendly, able to get us setup on bikes, explain the map and key spots to check out. He was on point with the duration of our ride for the distance we planned for. Bikes were in good condition. Easy rental process and friendly / knowledgeable staff. Conveniently located downtown Anchorage just two blocks from the trail entrance.

Pablo's Bike rentals has the best group of staff!! Gabe, Henry and Lauren were all awesome from the moment we walked in until we returned the bikes! They worked so efficiently and were all personable and kind to 2 60 yr old's! We decided to rent regular bikes and had an awesome ride on the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. You pay upon return so if you decide to ride shorter or longer than expected it is all good! This may be different in peak months but they had a steady stream of renters when there! The equipment was great! I would highly recommend!!!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Anchorage and were looking for something to do on a nice summer day. Our Uber driver told us to do a bike rental and ride the coastal trail. We stumbled upon Pablo's without really planning where to go and we had a great experience! The staff were extremely friendly and got us on our way quickly. The bikes were great and we had an amazing ride! Highly recommend!

We went at the end of May and they were busy, but Logan and Lauren did a great job of working as a team and making sure we were fit correctly and comfortably. The gave us plenty information to enjoy the ride. Afterwards, they even helped out with recommendations on where to go and the different restaurants. Great experience

Get your 20% coupons at the visitors center! Great deal and so worth it. All of the workers were very kind and relaxed, they provided us with bear spray to borrow for free, and quickly got us set up with bikes. They pointed out the trails that were recommended and set us on our way. Very fun time, 22 miles and 2 moose encounters!

Highly recommend! We stumbled upon this bike shop and we're so glad we did! We have a group of 13 and they were very accommodating! Gabe and Henry were top notch! The bikes were in very good condition!

All the employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Both the pedal and electric bikes were in excellent condition and made good rides. We did a 22 mile out-and-back on a paved trail from the business and saw, along the trail, 7 moose. Highly recommend.

I came here last summer looking for some e-bike info and now I am back this summer with some visiting family members. We rented out bikes from Santi again and the service was impeccable just like last summer. The family had a great time and I can't wait to bring them back next year.

Pablo's Bike Rental was the first step in a memorable bike ride around Anchorage. The selection and variety of bikes to suit all patrons was amazing, I was blown away by the selection. More importantly, the customer service experience provided by Logan and Lauren throughout the process of renting and return. Both ensured that I was familiar with the area, gave tips on how to make the trip more memorable and were just the absolutely most pleasant to work with. I will be returning to Pablo's Bike Rental in my future visits to Anchorage!
