Alavia Hvar Restaurant - Soul Food

Farm to table food, atmosphere, service, wine and view doesn’t get any better. Incredible outdoor bar with stunning views. The food and experience was the best we had in our 2.5 week trip in Croatia and the Dolomites. Highly recommend for special occasions or just GREAT FOOD!!!

Lovely spot on the top of the world. Found this place by chance. Waiter was very attentive explained the menu. We had the beef tongue which was melt on the tongue (excuse the pun) and the pasta finished in the parmesan wheel. Beautiful in a beautiful setting

Stopped in for some refreshments. Beautiful location. The “bar” is off to the right as you enter. We went in for drinks only. The views from the bar are awesome and breathe taking. Highly recommend stopping in if passing this restaurant and looking for drinks. The restaurant did look expensive. Be warned if you’re hungry.

This restaurant should visit everyone who also visiting Hvar island. First of all, restaurant has disposition of beautiful view point. Beautiful surroundings around. Interier is also very beautiful and personal too. Food was really tasty. I was just only a bit disappointed that the desert we ordered cointained lemon ice-cream instead of lavender ice-cream (because I never tasted it) as was written in menu and also about the toilets - they looked a bit old, that's why I can not give full ratings.. But everything else were great and we enjoyed it very much. You can pay by cash or card and restaurant has charming outside bar. I can really recommend this place.

What a find, the best restaurant I have ever eaten in. Atmosphere, decor, scenery it has it all.. If your in Hvar you must try it out.

It’s sometimes hard to pick a restaurant when all of them in the area are scoring a 4,5 star + rating. However we have been spending the last 2 weeks eating at restaurants throughout Croatia and this one is by far on all levels the best of all. You might spent a little more money but it’s all worth it. The staff is excellent and knowledgeable and not pushy, but then the food is absolutely amazing. Usually we are quite picky when it comes to food but I couldn’t image them doing a better job. If you are near Alavia give it a try!

Our experience in Alavia was five stars! The food was incredible and probably the best I have ever had in Croatia. Our waiter called Mihovel was super friendly and professional. The vibe was great and the views were stunning! Highly recommending:)

Oh wow! This place is nothing short of extraordinary. My friends and I ate here for dinner one night while we were in town and it was so incredible that we had to go back the next night, too! To begin, the atmosphere of the restaurant is truly breathtaking. The restaurant has windows on all sides, which makes you feel like you’re right in the Garden of Eden. It has the most breathtaking view of the island and the water down below. In addition to this, the food is delicious. I’m talking Michelin star level. We especially loved the pesto parmigiana— prepared for you right at the table, the burrata salad with caramel used grilled peaches, the eggplant rolls, the grilled chicken plate, and you cannot skip on the dessert! The chocolate mousse cake and almond baklava, both served with homemade ice cream, were decadent. All the food was of the highest quality and presentation. Lastly, the service was top notch. Both nights, our servers Matte and Petar, were so friendly and went above and beyond for us. In addition, the chef is hilarious. Such a fun and vibrant environment! At the end of our meal, or server even invited us to finish our drinks and dessert on the beautiful patio overlooking the sunset. Overall, my friends and I had the best dining experience at Alavia and are dreaming of the day we can come back to Hvar and dine here again!
