Alba Thermal Springs and Spa

Beautiful place with lovely pools! The facility is stunning and very well designed. I was honestly planning to give it 5 stars until I used the bathroom and shower. Unfortunately, both were DIRTY when I visited (nearly their closing time). There was poop stains in the toilets and hair everywhere in the shower. Even a bloody tampon! 🤮🤮🤮 I understand that this kind of mess is caused by other guests, but it would really help if there were enough staff to check and clean more frequently. Alba has a very fancy, luxury feel, but after that experience I can only give it 3 stars the most, and I’m not sure if I would come back again. (Sorry — I’m a bit of a neat freak!)

February 2026: First time here and first time of doing this type of thing. From the moment you enter Alba the service is second to none. Every staff member you interact with feels like a friend, such a genuine connection with everyone more so in the cafe - restaurant too. The whole property is so open and peaceful amongst an amazing garden and natural wildlife, I love the sounds of the birds. It’s nice getting to walk around too enjoy each pool. For myself personally I’m not a huge fan of water activities as I barely use my own swimming pool however everyone that I know has bragged about Alba and I can see why. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and would easily return more so for the dining experience as the food was of the highest quality and relaxing environment. Easy 5 star review 👌

Value for money just wasn’t there!! Booked the private spa with cheese and wine for 2. $480 doesn’t get you far. Yes having a little bit of tranquility away from the main area is nice, but the experience only last 45 minutes. (Although we did get a little more time given the attendant was knocked by a gust of wind, spilling the wine over everything [not his fault]) The cheese board is underwhelming and a glass of wine really doesn’t cut it when you’re paying so much. I would say the pools are “semi-private” as you’re still in full view of other guests in a more private area. Compared to general entry at $100 pp, I would have expected quite a bit more. Generally, the pool was quite clean, the locker area was quiet, the main area was well taken care of (lifeguards are clearly bored out of their mind though) and the landscaping has come a long way since opening. Staff were lovely. Will we come back? Not sure - probably not for a while given how much we spent, and the value we got. Kinda tainted our view of Alba if I’m really honest.

One of the best places in the whole wide world !!! Beautiful atmosphere, relaxing pools. Good food and juices. I love when Konrad is out and plays the didgeridoo on the pools. Plan a whole day or at least 5 hours it's absolutely worth it.

The landscaping was stunning. I sat with a wine waiting for my party to arrive and was moved by the music and the tranquillity beyond words. The staff was attentive, professional and personal at the same time. The actual bathing experience is always enjoyable. From the moment I arrived to the sounds of the birds and the lovely smells that greeted me, I can thoroughly recommend the experience. Thank you for calming my spirit.

I would highly recommend this place if you’re after tranquility during your visit. It was such a beautiful experience. Not crowded or noisy but very relaxing. Great sceneries all around you and very peaceful and clean. I love How with your entry price they include a locker with your own bathrobe and towel. Very plush robes too! The bathrooms need a mention because they were also spacious, clean and peaceful with their own indoor garden feature. They also have Dyson hair dryers for your convenience. Loved this place so much that I would highly recommend it. Thank you for a great experience

A luxurious hideaway for the ultimate spa experience. Over sprawling grounds, there are many secluded and private spots to enjoy the hot springs without feeling overrun by other patrons. The food and beverage service is highly recommended. Well presented and bursting with unique flavours. Entire team of staff were higher professional and absolutely top notch. More than highly recommended. The only downside was instagramers preening and posing for photos. That was indeed annoying.

A little touch of luxury on the peninsula. Wow what an experience, from the moment you walk up to the impressive facades of the building it feels like you're stepping into a luxurious experience. From the 30 odd different mineral spa pools to the on site restaurant that serves first class food and drink you can literally spend all day here and leave totally relaxed
