We usually don't return to holiday destinations but this one is exception. Very good and quiet location, great and friendly staff, super clean and well cared surroundings. I am sure we will come back many times more.

Our stay at Albamar Apartments had its ups and downs. The beautiful beach view and the charming garden with a playground were definite highlights, perfect for our children. However, some drawbacks left us feeling uneasy. The apartment's single toilet was inconvenient for our family, and the kitchen lacked a dishwasher, bread toaster, and proper coffee machine. Access roads to both the apartment and the beach weren't stroller-friendly. The lack of air conditioning made warm days less pleasant. Moreover, the incessant noise from heavy apartment doors slamming shut, coupled with the disruptive sound of chairs being moved across the floor by other tenants, became a source of ongoing frustration during our stay. Additionally, the small parking spaces posed challenges, especially for larger vehicles. Despite the positives, these issues left us with some reservations about our stay. While the location and staff were nice, these issues tempered our overall experience

Following a last-minute unforeseen event, my friend had an accident and we unfortunately did not take advantage of our reservation. My friend gave them his medical certificate of work stoppage and the hotel refuses any refund or compensation. We are really sad about this situation I strongly advise against this place because of an after-sales point of view. There is no support

I liked the location and the property. The walk to the beach was difficult. The biggest problem we had was the lack of air conditioning. It was too hot to sleep well.

The apartments are well equipped and comfortable, but it is the location that is outstanding.||The apartments are set in beautiful, wooded grounds that are immaculately maintained and so peaceful. The stunning beach of Santa Cristina is a short stroll through the grounds, but quite a steep climb back up. There is a lovely view of the sea from the infinity swimming pool. The reception will provide beach towels free of charge which is an excellent service.||You need a car when staying here as it is quite a way out of the resort.||The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, 2 ring hob and combi microwave oven. Fresh bread and croissants can be ordered from reception daily.||The staff are helpful and friendly and there are numbered car parking spaces.||This is an ideal place for a relaxing, get away from it all holiday.

Beautiful and quiet location with some wonderful beaches close by. Close to the ‘party town’ Lloret del Mar but if like us, it’s far enough away you never need to visit!|Apartment very clean and well maintained and the ‘A’ apartment had an amazing sea view. |Check-in let it down for us. We didn’t come by car so walked a long way with our food shopping and bags. When we arrived we were asked to prove payment (we had prepaid via Expedia) and they asked for us to send via email a payment receipt which was hard to do with little mobile internet - they wouldn’t accept the booking confirmation email showing payment. They had our booking and details already. It felt like we should be grateful to be there not the other way around. |We were given a WIFI code, but only for one device each and it had an expiry of three days which required another request for a new passcode from reception each time. |When we got to the apartment, we found the safe was an extra charge of €4 per day to store valuables - The safe was there but you couldn’t access it without paying extra. |This was the same for the coffee machine, if you want that in the kitchen it was €3.50 per day extra with 10 coffee pods if you order for a min amount of days - it would have felt better if they charged a higher amount for coffee pods and left the machine in the apartment. We felt a little cheated to pay these as it was not a cheap apartment. |The bed was quite uncomfortable and with very flat pillows. We found out there were better pillows but at an extra charge. |The bathroom was small but had everything required for two, including a bath with overhead shower. The kitchen contained a microwave that acted as a grill too (but no instructions) an electric hob, fridge and freezer and a good array of utensils. |There is no air conditioning, but we stayed in august in around 30 degree heat each day and didn’t find it too bad as there was a constant sea breeze due to the location. I would imagine it would get quite hot with no wind. |It had everything we needed looking past these features. |There was a easy private access down the hill to the small beach near the Albamar restaurant. The beaches as always quite crowded and we found the next beach along to be less so. |The beach restaurant also belongs to the hotel which we would have liked to have visited for an evening meal or drink as sunset but it closes at 5pm. |The really annoying thing is the access and walking. The apartments are on a hill overlooking the beach and bay. But to get to there next beach or to the town and shops it’s a walk down hill and then back up the steep long drive of about 10 mins in a lot of heat. Annoyingly next to the apartment entrance there is a gate that seems to be used by staff that cuts out this 10 walk and uphill trek. If that was available to those without a car, your 20/30min walk to the shop or next beach would be halved and not as painful. We are both fit 20-somethings and found it a lot of up and down hill walking to get everywhere in the heat, this entrance would have made our lives so much easier. |You therefore really need a car to enjoy this place properly. |Our neighbours seemed to be a lot of French families, but rude ones. You can hear noise of chairs and tables being dragged above that woke us up early and also loud chatter and music late into the night. They were the kind of people who wouldn’t say hi if they passed you or thanks if you held the door open which was a shame but wasn’t every night thankfully. |We did enjoy our visit, and found it a relaxing time after we did our treks to the shops and up and down hills etc - We were exhausted every night. There was no details about check out in the apartment or what to do with rubbish but we had a note under the door reminding us we had to check out by 10am highlighted on our last evening.
