Historic building- original was a market. Gorgeous view & supreme service. Very interesting experience! U took antique elevator to the restaurant on the top.

We booked this place for a late lunch on a Thursday, four of us, two couples. The place is right beside the “Barcas” arrival, with a wonderful view, at 15th November place. Food is high quality, fresh, gourmet, delicious and refined! we had oysters and grilled seafood to start, then “moqueca” which is a type of seafood stew with national ingredients including “dende oil” very special and recommended!! Staff is extremely friendly and customer centric! A place to return many times!!!💕💕💕

A very traditional restaurant located in the single remaining part from the original food market in Rio. It has changed the administration and the menu a few years ago, sensibly dropping the quality of the food. I asked for a moqueca (traditional fish stew) that came almost cold. The menu also featured an Italian pasta that turned to be a very specific grain from Sardenha, but not exactly a pasta in Brazilian standards. I consider expensive if compared to the quality, but regardless, it worths the visit for angles of wine and starters enjoying the view. Definitely Its high point is the view from the Bay.

Amazing views and excellent food. I really enjoyed my dining experience here and so did my dining companions. Lobster termidor was out of this world.

Mostly a seafood restaurant in a historical building, the only one survived from the infamous demolition in the 1960s by local authorities of the old Rio fish market. Menu with limited choices but dishes all well executed. You will pay a (deserved) premium for the nice view on the Bay of Guanabara. Desserts definitely not their cup of tea: I recommend to order only appetizer + main dish instead and skip their mediocre desserts.

The price is obviously not compatible with the laughable small portions and their awful preparation. Almost 20 dollars for fried fish portion without any sauce that weighs no more than 2 ounces and that is pathetically served on a tea saucer with space to spare, mind you! Really a tourist trap of the worst quality

Splendid view! Nice atmosphere! Good oysters. One of the few places in Rio where u can have lobster (although I didnt really like their sauce in the Thermidor version. I d stick to the grilled version without their Thermidor sauce)
