I initially left a three-star review shortly after arriving due to issues with booking directly through the hotel and a few early discrepancies that made me question my choice. Now that my stay has ended, I feel it is important to update my review, as my first impression was not representative of the overall experience.
The food is excellent. The cuisine is authentic, fresh, and clearly prepared by a skilled chef. As someone with celiac disease, I do believe I was accidentally exposed to gluten, which can still cause discomfort even in small amounts. That said, the quality and flavor of the food were outstanding.
The ambiance and decor make you feel at home immediately, and the staff are kind, attentive, and welcoming. The location is also ideal, with an art gallery two minutes away, access to winter and summer sports within a seven-minute walk, and St. Moritz only seven minutes away by car.
The shuttle service to and from the train station is very convenient, and public transportation to St. Moritz is reliable, taking approximately 20 to 35 minutes. Buses run late on weekends, which makes getting around easy.
I recommend booking through a third-party platform to ensure the room type and view you select, but overall I was very pleased with my stay. The in-room bathtub and the wellness area with a Turkish bath, sauna, jacuzzi, and cold plunge were wonderful amenities included with the stay.
While my personal experience was not a perfect five stars, I believe the hotel itself deserves that rating. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy both nature and easy access to St. Moritz.
