Google
Albany Ao Sen easily serves up some of the best pho I’ve had in the Oakland area—rich, flavorful, and incredibly satisfying. The broth is packed with depth, and every bite feels comforting and authentic. On top of that, the wait staff is friendly and attentive, making the whole dining experience feel smooth and welcoming. The food comes out impressively fast, which is perfect when you’re craving something warm and delicious. And don’t sleep on the spicy marinated chicken—it’s a hidden gem on the menu that deserves way more attention. Bold, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Highly recommend!

I've been eating at this location for around a decade, and this is definitely one of my comfort restaurants. I always order either #1 to #5 pho bowls, and they're all amazing and intensely flavorful (in a good way). The spring rolls are delicious as well! The food also does come out pretty fast, which is impressive; it's a less than ten minute wait. There is a bathroom near the entrance and a few tvs, plus i think a fish or two. The atmosphere is kind of cozy, and they're always playing on the radio 96.5 KOIT! This place is a bit expensive but I do recommend it! Hope you have a great time there!

I was traveling and craving a good bowl of pho when I randomly came across this spot and decided to stop in. Super convenient parking right out front, service was fast, and the food—absolutely amazing. Wish I lived closer, because this would definitely be a regular go-to for me.

Google
first of all beautiful presentation I got the vegetarian option which was very refreshing and very tasty. The fake beef was 10 out of 10 super yummy. amazing customer service. The lady was very helpful while ordering overall nice lady. highly recommend. me personally I’m picky when it comes to cooked vegetables, but these were the best I’ve ever had definitely go check out.

Google
Too much rice, not enough meat. Marinated pork tasted average. The best part was the pickled veggies.

After getting off work early, I was treated to lunch here. We were seated immediately on arrival. Not very busy. We enjoyed the chicken wing appetizer. I ordered the beef plate. Dee-Licious. Would definitely return.

I came here for a quick lunch and asked how long it would take to order a rice plate. My server told me about 6 to 8 minutes. My dish came out under 5 minutes. It delicious and the bowl of pho broth was very tasty. I will be returning and I highly recommend this place if you want Vietnamese food!

Google
Service was extremely fast and friendly, our food was out in less than ten minutes. All the food was delicious! The pho and bun bo hue portions were very large. They have a parking lot in the back

Yelp
Look. It's a type of comfort food at a good price with fast service. Not much else I want sometimes. Used to be a sizzlers and it still has the layout of a sizzlers. Something about that is kind of charming. When dining is so pricey these days that spots like this that aren't "dress up" go out or "fast food" are harder and harder to find.

Yelp
I can't believe after living in El Cerrito so long we finally visited Ao Sen over the break. What a huge space, and quite crowded for a Sunday afternoon. Service was quick and efficient, love that the staff brings out all meals on a cart. We ordered Vietnamese Egg Nog after glancing at the menu and wanted to experience/try something new. Tasted similar to an East Coast Egg cream, love the Perrier soda water add on. Essentially it's egg yolk, sweetened condensed milk, and soda water. Probably wouldn't order again, but hey, there's a first for everything. Also ordered Vietnamese Iced Coffee, egg rolls, chicken noodle soup, and a beef pho. For the chicken noodle soup I subbed egg noodles for an additional couple bucks and that was the winning ticket. Mixed with the broth, pulled white meat chicken, and a little hot sauce/hoisin, it was super yummy. My husband enjoyed his bowl and thought the meat was juicy/hearty. The chicken noodle soup was in my opinion the perfect fixture to feeling a bit under the weather ~ clean, simple, easy. My only qualms were that the egg rolls, although packed with flavor and all the pork/shrimp ground yumminess, were a bit excessively greasy (the kind of greasy where ya have to actually wipe your fingers on the napkin). Flavor was still there and maybe it was just our batch, but would try this spot again in future if we're feeling a pho trip, fasho :) I did love that they were playing Get Hard with Will Ferrell and Kevin Hart, and the small koi pond/waterfall next to the TV. Plenty of parking in back/street parking, reasonable price points, and located next to Ocean View if wanting a fun local brew stop before/after.

Yelp
Came around 12pm on a Monday and was sat pretty quickly. The place is really big, lots of seating! There is a parking lot on the side. I got pho and it hit the spot! Good solid flavors, overall a warm hearty meal for the cold weather. Not too salty and not bland, sits perfectly in the middle. My mom got the vermicelli with pork. There were many different textures and flavors that just blended so well. The noodles were soft, the meat was flavorful, and the veggies were crunchy. It also comes with 2 egg rolls which was good for sharing!

Yelp
My friends and I stopped by for dinner on a Sunday evening about an hour before they closed and the restaurant was pretty busy. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken shortly afterwards. Very attentive service. I ordered the extra large pho with a side of beef balls to share with my wife. While the bowl was large, I would recommend adding an extra side of noodles and meat if you plan on splitting. The key thing I'm looking for in a good pho broth is depth of flavor: the broth should have a bit of sweetness to balance the deep, savory beef base. While food was delivered quickly to our table, unfortunately, the bowl of pho fell short of my expectations. The broth was a little on the bland side and my noodles arrived overcooked, resulting in them being soggier than I normally prefer for pho noodles. One thing that helped out with the blandness of the broth was the house-made lemongrass chili sauce. This sauce had the consistency of XO sauce that you'd typically find at Chinese hotpot spots. The lemongrass flavor is bold and the sauce has a good amount of spice: it doesn't linger for too long, nor does it completely numb your palette to the point that you can't taste any other flavors. I would definitely recommend trying out the sauce on whatever you end up ordering. While the bowl of pho fell short, I felt like the grilled pork spring rolls were really good. I enjoyed how well the pork was seasoned and it had a nice bouncy texture to contrast the crunchiness of the fried wonton crisp and the fresh veggies. I owe it to Ao Sen to stop by again to try the pho when it's not an hour before closing. I suspect there's a possibility that because it was the end of the night, the chefs needed to stretch the remaining batch of the prepared pho broth to serve the last diners of the evening, resulting it it being more bland than usual. 3.5 rounding up to a 4.

Yelp
The ambiance and service are a cut above most Pho and Vietnamese noodle cafes. It's a comfortable place and roomy. Their servers are very pleasant. The food wasn't as good as I was hoping. Not bad, but not outstanding.

Yelp
Authentic taste when it comes to their Pho. I've been coming here for years now and it beats all the bougie Pho spots in this location (Berkeley, Oakland, Richmond). The service is great and attentive. The vibes are chill and you can catch the game on their TVs. My go-to is their chicken pho. Con: the meat portion seems to be less than usual. (Only this time) Price for chicken pho after taxes: $16.56

Yelp
I've been to the Oakland Pho Ao Sen and remember it being good so why not try their sister restaurant. For a group of 4 at 5:45 pm on a Friday evening there was no wait. Parking lot on the side and back that's connected to the Taco Bell. The service was fine and what you'd expect at most pho restaurants. As far as the pho, the #12 broth was lighter than usual in flavor. You do neeed to pay an extra $2 to upgrade regular to large bowl. If in the area and craving for pho, not a bad option.

Yelp
It's the best around - always fragrant and consistent Clean and fresh veggies Not overly heavy on any spice - hate when ppl use black cardamom to stupidity. Kid friendly

Yelp
We did not end up eating at this restaurant because they have few vegetarian options and were unable to accommodate any dietary restrictions. I would not recommend this place for vegetarians!
google avatar

Yelp
Good food and service. My family and I have come here a couple times and been happy with the food. I ordered the number 2 pho which was good. We also shared the shrimp spring rolls and chicken wings. Also good. The place is spacious and can easily accommodate large parties. They also have a parking lot which is nice. Overall a great spot

Yelp
Service is OK but the food is pretty authentic and good for Vietnamese. Food would definitely recommend the three color dessert drink my go to spot when I'm craving authentic noodles.
google avatar

Jessica L.

Yelp
Very affordable and good quality pho! It's hard to find a good pho place that's under $15 near Berkeley, but my bowl was around $13 before tax and tip! The restaurant is large and has plenty of seats. It's not too busy either.

Yelp
Always delicious, always welcoming. Great place for family and friends. They remember my order every time I walk in and serve me quickly.

Yelp
Pho Ao Sen is a hidden gem right on San Pablo Avenue, don't pass this one up! We had an order of the Egg Rolls along with the Pork and Shrimp Plate both were tasty, I will be coming back soon! The egg rolls are a crunchy, fried perfection, bursting with flavor in every bite and served in larger portions, making them ideal for sharing or enjoying solo. The Vietnamese iced coffee is a sweet and strong delight that will keep you awake and energized, perfect as a refreshing start or a midday pick-me-up. The pork and shrimp plate stands out with its juicy, generous portions of meat and seafood, complemented by a sweet cabbage and carrot salad that is marinated to perfection. Pho Ao Sen offers a delightful dining experience with its flavorful dishes and satisfying portions; we had to take some to go. If you're in Albany and craving Vietnamese cuisine, this spot should definitely be on your list!

Yelp
This Vietnamese place DOES NOT play. I came in because I had seen someone online reccomend it on either Instagram or another platform and I wrote it down. I got around to trying it with a friend visiting and it was absolutely DECADENT. Truly such good food, service, and whilst there weren't too many customers at 2pm on a Monday as one would expect-- the lunch we had was nothing short of magical. I am always looking for my fixation favorite Asian-cuisine places and boy is this one authentic. Cudos to the chefs and sercers because I was treated so well by their ingredients and flavor. So so good it was baffling. I would get the seafood pho and the Lemongrass beef rice noodle. So damn delicious.

Yelp
Consistently flavorful well prepared phos and rice plates, appetizers too. Free parking in back. Nice large room, with big tables too.

Yelp
1.5/5 rounded up to 2 for the egg rolls and decent rare beef slices. Pho is bad. I was astonished to see that many reviews complimented the pho. Maybe I got a bad batch, but it tasted like powder flavored pho (you know like the instant pho in a cup?) The first flavor note, though, was that it tasted sweaty? I don't know how to describe it well, but it's that flavor that comes from cheap meat. Also, the broth was extremely salty, with barely any spice aftertastes. I couldn't taste any star anise, cinnamon, cloves, or anything else really! Usually, I feel refreshed after drinking the broth in pho, but after this meal, both my bf and I just kept chugging water all night because of how dry it made our mouths. - We both got Pho Tai (rare beef slices). Surprisingly, the rare beef slices were actually pretty good quality, and the noodles were cooked just right. It's just that broth- I don't know- something was just really off with it. My bf also got a side of meatballs $2.50. $12.95 Egg rolls were on point and this tasted freshly fried. Yummy meat filling. Mint leaves and lettuce were fresh as well. $8.95 Service is standard and efficient. It's a pretty large restaurant with tons of booths- not a ton of patrons on a weekday night, but they get a lot of takeout orders. Price is decent for the area, I just wish the pho broth was a lot better. Not sure if I'll be back, I have to try other Vietnamese places in the East Bay to compare, but of course, San Jose is where it's at for great Vietnamese food.

Yelp
Took Moms here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. She was in the mood for soup as you know its been a lil chilly here in the bay area so we stopped in and grabbed lunch. Breakdown: I ordered the number #3 I believe. Moms ordered the rice plate with the short ribs. We had spring rolls for the table and we both had chai teas. The broth on the pho was traditional and it was very flavorful. Meat was tender and the rice noodles we perfect. Moms short ribs were also very flavorful. It was a big portion came with rice salad and soup. The spring rolls was also fresh and very good served with peanut sauce. Chai Tea was perfect not to sweet. I would come back here a million times over, Also food came out quick and it was busy in there. Sevice was good too.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this Vietnamese restaurant! The food was delicious, the place was clean, and the seating area was spacious. The service was outstanding--they even provided kids' utensils and small scissors without us asking. Such thoughtful touches! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Good food! Had the beef stew and summer rolls. Stew was tasty and summer rolls were fresh. Lots of people but seated quickly.

there is nothing better than a hot bowl of pho from Ao Sen. I have nothing more to say except go, eat here now.

Yelp
Ive been to this place at least 5 times, the soup is really good. It's usually pretty busy at night and there might be a line. Tho the restaurant is really spacious and has a lot of tables

Yelp
Ao Sen is now one of my favorite Vietnamese spots! There's parking in the back and ample space inside (with AC; that'll be really helpful in the upcoming heat!). My friend and ordered the Spring Rolls and the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio. Both were delicious. The spring rolls are packed with fresh fillings and the pork/shrimp combo inside tasted great. For the bun thit nuong cha gio, I enjoyed how succulent and tasty the pork was. I'm normally pretty sensitive to the scent of pork since it can make it taste a little off to me but their pork is so savory, juicy, and tastes absolutely delightful when it comes off the grill. The egg rolls and nuoc cham are crowning jewels on this dish, which also has perfectly cooked rice noodles. We also ordered the Thai Iced Tea and Vietnamese Coffee and they were both great as well. I personally had the tea and it was chocolaty and mildly sweet - a perfect complement to my dish. Last time I came, I ordered the lemonade with Perrier and it was so refreshing and another great complement to my dish. The service is great and they're very fast with the food! I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking for delicious Vietnamese food in the Albany/El Cerrito area!

Yelp
This is our go-to Vietnamese restaurant. Always seating available, fast service, super friendly towards children, and the food is delicious. I like to order the pork and egg roll vermicelli bowl. The portion size is great for its price, too. Also great for big groups.
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious Vietnamese food! I really enjoyed the combo rice plate - although a bit pricey (~$20) it came with everything I want in a rice plate. Great flavor with a wide variety of ingredients. The beef soup that they gave was super tasty and warming as well. The imperial rolls were crunchy and didn't skimp on the meat. I would definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
This place is great. Good and service were all awesome. We had the spring rolls, vermicelli, rice plates...all good. We will go back again.

Yelp
Brooooo I wrote a lengthier review for this and then it died in the Yelp abyss after I hit "post". Anyways, Ao Sen is a solid contender in the sprawl of pho joints in the Albany/Berk/El Cerrito area. For COVID safety purposes, masks are required, tables are sanitized thoroughly, and seating is socially distanced. This was definitely some Denny's or Wendy's before getting repurposed into a branch of Oakland's OG Pho Ao Sen (why's this location only "Ao Sen", anyways?). Lots of parking available in their personal lot. Interior is decked out with plants and cultural paraphernalia-- spacious but cozy. My bf and I were here for a late weekend lunch, seated immediately. Very empty, but probly popping during their peak meal hours. #3 BEEF BOWL: Loooove their rich broth. Great protein: noodle:veg ratio. They get the steak cuts right! CHE THAI: About standard. Comes with toddy palm, lychee jelly, pandan jelly, and a chunk of ice. I wish there were more of the other toppings than overwhelming amount of pandan jelly noodles, or that they were layered instead of lumped together with a singular ice block, but otherwise refreshing. Service is SO FAST. I don't think we waited longer than 5 min between items or water refills. They seat you and deliver your order SWIFTLY. But we were never rushed.

Yelp
Pretty convenient place in Albany right on San Pablo ave. We were apartment hunting all day and had a gap between viewings so walked right into Ao Sen. The biggest negative was AC malfunctioning on the hottest day of the month :( so that was brutal. Food is good though. We enjoyed the fresh shrimp rolls, beef pho and pork vermicelli bowl. Yum. Service is prompt. Bathrooms are clean.

Yelp
I havn't had Pho in a while but since it has been cold recently ee wanted some Pho after shopping at Costco. We got here at 7:30pm afraid they were gonna deny us since they closed 8pm. the service was quick. We were able to order by 7:40pm and get our food by 7:45pm. The restaurant was still full and people were still coming in and not getting denied. We left past 8pm and we weren't the lest ones to leave. I appreciate them staying open past their closing time. When did a bowl of Pho (regular size) start costing over $12? I ordered the beef stew. It was a lot lighter than most beef stews I had. It was as light as the pho broth. Still very flavorful, but I was expecting something different.
google avatar

Luan N.

Yelp
It was pretty busy for lunch , went on a Sunday. They seated us after a table opened up, and we ordered beef pho and rice plates. Price was reasonable but food was just okay. It'll satisfy a craving if you're feeling lazy to find someplace better but definitely better pho and rice plate places out there. Rice plate portion and the bean sprouts for the pho was small. Two tiny plates of bean sprouts for 4 bowls of pho, we had to ask for another plate. Service was ok considering it was a bit busy
google avatar

Justine O.

Yelp
Out of all the pho places in the area, Ao Sen is definitely my favorite! Their portions are huge; one order of pho usually lasts me 2-3 meals. I normally order the vegetable pho, which includes tofu, carrots, and broccoli. The broth is always warm and savory, while the vegetables add some varied texture. I also like their spring rolls and peanut sauce if I'm in the mood for an appetizer. The restaurant is quite large, so whether you're on a date night or with a big group of friends, come to Ao Sen!
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
I had ignored this place for years since it seemed like a generic chain or something but I've been several times now and the food is fresh and delicious. Really great pho. Vermicelli, eggplant, and other options also delicious. They are really welcoming to families with kids. Lots of tables so you can almost always get a seat right away. Service is sometimes a bit slow but nothing too bad. Would definitely be 5 stars if they labeled their menu for the main allergens. Even after trying to make sure I wasn't eating anything with wheat / soy sauce, I never feel like I know for sure.
google avatar

Sharon C.

Yelp
Service was friendly and very quick! I got the number 2 pho medium. The beef balls and steak and brisket was good. Noodle soup was good. Great on a rainy day like today.
google avatar

Alex Y.

Yelp
Solid Pho. Better than most places. I've had their beef pho (very good), chicken pho (very good), shrimp rolls (good), spicy fried chicken wings (very good) and their pork chop bun (ok). Place is very spacious and the service is efficient and quite fast. I go here for quick meals with my kids. They are big fans.
google avatar

Sheila R.

Yelp
This is my family's go to Pho restaurant in the area. Food is always served piping hot and their broth is always so good. Their service is always pretty good, too. The staff is very friendly and there are a few waitstaff who always remember me, which is nice. Wait times for food is always quick and they give a nice assortment of garnishes. I usually get the beef pho with meatballs, but I realized I usually only eat one meatball because they're pretty hard to bite into. The last time I was there, I got the Pho Ga, the chicken pho and it was sooo delicious. Each time I go I also always get spring rolls and eggrolls - always consistent quality. My suggestion is don't go around lunch time because it'll be packed. I can't tell you how many times I've wanted pho on a Wednesday, only to remember that is one of the days they're closed The bathrooms are usually clean - I'm a stickler for a clean bathroom. The restaurant is for the most part, clean. The pop of greenery everywhere is a bonus because the plant mom in me likes to eat and admire the long Pothos trails and the nice big leaves on the Elephant Ears. However, I have noticed they have some issues with the building. Some of the paneling on the ceiling is missing - most likely from water damage from all those heavy rains. All in all, I will always come here for Pho. Great food!
google avatar

Gaara S.

Yelp
I really like the spacious interior, the beautiful landscape outside, and the polite service staff. I visited this place for the first time since it took over the previous Sizzler location. I went there after reading the raving reviews on the vegetarian lemon grass beef dish, and it was amazing. I only wish they could have more than 2 items under vegetarian section. I love vegetarian pho but the only vegetable pho is in chicken broth. I know most of Vietnamese dishes can be veganized (Golden Lotus in Oakland, Loving Hut in SF). The bean drink really hit the spot but I really dislike drinks served in single use plastic cup when it's dining in. Please serve it in a tall glass. The presentation would be much nicer.
google avatar

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time today , it was ok. The staff friendly and attentive, the Resturaunt is nice and clean . Food was ok , moderate price .

Yelp
Omg. My new favorite! As a vegetarian I was excited to see so many options on a Vietnamese menu, and the value was incredible. I would go back again and again.

Yelp
My go to spot when craving for Pho, the tasty broth comes out hot, noodles is not overly cooked, fresh ingredients and good selection of condiments. Service is always exceptional. Parking is a non issue. Indisputably the Best Pho in Albany.
google avatar

Katherine G.

Yelp
Update: i was able to come back again and try the pho this time. While it was good, it wasn't anything too spectacular. There was a good amount of meat and noodles and I especially loved the beef tendon and steak. The broth was a bit lighter than I expected and the noodles also weren't as chewy as I like. However, the ambiance is nice and I love the bowls they serve it in. Definitely satisfies the pho cravings though :)

Yelp
I'm pretty picky when it comes to my pho. It's a horrible thing for me but probably great for you, the reader. My usual go to is a rare steak slice bowl of pho BUT when I'm trying a new place and I'm "breaking in" the new pho shop's taste, I always get their typical #1 combo (or equivalent). Portion: yea, it's a healthy amount of portion. The extra large was indeed a bit extra and a bit large. Plenty of meat and a helpful amount of pho. They even give a healthy amount of toppings which is always appreciated. Taste: the taste is there and has a bit of broth depth. It's not overpowering with herbs or a singular taste, but you can definitely taste the depth of the broth. Quality: the quality is great. The meat used are great and the noodle is cooked just right. Its not undercooked or too soggy. Its the worst when pho is undercooked and you're left chewing through it like some jerky, yuck. I do recommend you get to work on your bowl of pho because it will soak up all the broth if you take your time. I also appreciate that they use insulated bowls for heat retention. Their lemongrass hot sauce (not hot at all) tastes great. If you like your bowl of pho with scallions, try ordering the scallion oil. They got it here! Overall, I'll be back for more pho. It was really good and leaves me wanting more.

Yelp
Upon recommendation by someone who happened to be Vietnamese, I ventured to this spot by myself. It was a rainy day so it was perfect for a pippin hot bowl of pho. Greeted fairly quickly - it was 345pm but the restaurant had a decent number of patrons. Order was taken fairly quickly although I felt like I was about to flag someone down, food came out fairly quickly. Pho was delicious, loved the broth. I don't like broth with large amounts of fat bubbles all throughout but this broth was good, didn't see large fat bubbles lol. I kind of felt like there should have been a little bit more noodles but I guess that's why there's a monster pho option. The nem nuong was ok but I didn't like the orange sauce. I told the lady and she brought me warm peanut sauce to go which was nice of her. Overall, it's the best pho I had in the Bay Area, same as the last pho place I went to in Berkeley. Will be back to try the other items!
google avatar

Wendy R.

Yelp
The best pho in the East Bay! The staff are always friendly and it's really nice to just sit down in the restaurant!

Yelp
Huge portions and fast service in a chill, homey atmosphere. Great low-key place to visit for comfort food. My favorites: Appetizer B - traditional spring rolls: shrimp, grilled pork, lettuce, vermicelli Appetizer D - grilled pork spring rolls: they use a sweet grilled pork loaf that's almost like spam but sweeter! Love these #1: a classic combo, weighing in at Extra Large in a bowl bigger than your head. Lots of tasty meats, noodles, and slurpable soup. They also have a lemongrass(?) chili oil condiment on the table that is super tasty - I highly recommend trying a spoonful or ten. Next time I visit, I want to try the bun bo hue!

Jasmine Z.

Yelp
This place is so good! There is so much seating so i'm sure the wait would not be long if you went during rush hours. I went at 4pm on a Saturday and there was no wait. This restaurant feels like very family like, it has good service, good foods, and it's very clean. Both the chicken and beef pho are delicious and the spring rolls are a must try! This is going to be my new go to restaurant for the good food and affordable prices.

Yelp
Pleasant surprise!! We moved to this neighborhood 6 months ago, we had been going to a different vietnamese restaurant in El Cerrito but we ordered from Ao Sen via Uber eats last night. It was sooo good! I ordered the bun thit nuong cha gio and chicken pho. The bun was soooo good!! It was also cheaper than other restaurants for the same dish. The pork marinade is a little different than other places, it has more pepper which I love! The cha gio was also really good. Portion is pretty big for the price! I can't wait to go in person and try other dishes!

Yelp
I've been to the location in Oakland a couple years back and thought it was pretty good! This was my first time at this location, and I went with my family who claim this place is good. Taste: I ordered one of the com tam plates so I can speak on the behalf of the flavor of this dish. They don't skimp out on the flavor. I like how they give a great portion of the fish sauce on the dish. It's more than enough which is what I like. I also noticed there is sate served at every table and this is a tad bit spicy which fits my palate. I personally wasn't happy with the amount of pork I received. Other places I've been to give me larger portions for a cheaper price. With that said, the dish is still good, but the portion sizes weren't as evenly sized out. Price: This is honestly a pricey Vietnamese restaurant. I've never seen a com tam cost $20 (not the one pictured here). Also, assuming the portion sizes are this small, then I don't think it's worth it. Service: Fast and efficient. We were seated down immediately and ordered ASAP. Food came out fast. Overall, I think I'd probably want to stick with other options like pho or the vermicelli dishes because it seems more worth my money. I'm not saying it's bad, but personally, the price I'm paying with those proportions can be used somewhere else.

Yelp
Just as delicious as their Oakland location. Of course, the pho here is really tasty. Very good broth... BUT you better not skip ordering the Nem Nuong Nha Trang, which is basically a super tasty spring roll with a slice of what tastes like grilled sausage and a surprise crispy element in the form of what seems like a rolled and fried wonton skin inside. It is the PERFECT combination of freshness from the veggies, savory from the sausage, and crispy surprise from whatever that fried thing is. The dipping sauce is great, but make sure to also use their housemade chili crisp with lemongrass. I put it on everything I eat there and even buy some to take home. If they'd bottle that stuff and have it in stores they'd be rich.

Was in desperate need of some comfort food, and the pho ga hit the spot! Ordered pho ga for pickup and it was ready in 10 minutes. I love vietnamese soups because they always feel so fresh. Generous portions and huge bag of bean sprouts, lime, jalapenos and basil for garnish. They thoughtfully inckuded chopsticks and a spoon with the takeout order, along with some extra sauces. Would definitely come back to satisfy future comfort food cravings.
