One of the most beautiful villages in Spain

I had checked on Google Map for the business hours before I went. But I failed to enter at 13:00. I then went to the cathedral and had no luck either. It was until I left Albarracín that I found out individual visitors are not allowed to enter without a guide. Well, until next time, I guess.

Nice view, but we were not able to visit individually. We were told they only open for groups

Visit to the castle is by guided tour only - the times are displayed outside the Museum of Albarracin and you buy your ticket from there. The tour is in Spanish but I was impressed by the English audioguide (complete with videos) which I was able to access via QR code on my phone. The tour is definitely worthwhile and you of course get great views as a bonus.

The opening times are completely wrong and regular tours only on the weekends

Great view of the village from the top of the hill.
