Albatros Cabarete

Great location, beautiful pool area and really nice apartments.

good central location. if the windows of your room face the road, then it is very noisy all day long. But disgraceful service. the administration does not control the cleaners...!! We stopped in the shower there was a dirty foot mat, with prints of men's shoes. There was a used water bottle with mosquitoes floating in side. They asked to be removed. Cleaning woman..! made a scandal. She screamed at us and cursed. The next day didn't clean the room at all. We specifically left for the time of cleaning and waited for three hours ... They told the manager. The cleaner came. Screamed, pledged to us, cursed and wished bad things. She threw our things around the room and when we asked not to be touched, she ignored us. the manager can't do anything about it. the hotel is run by a cleaner!😳☹️

This place is great! I lived in Cabarete in 2010, and would always recommend the Albatros. Location is excellent, right on the main road coming into town which means everything in Cabarete is easily walkable, but it's set in from the road so it's QUIET and peaceful, which most places on the main road in town Cabarete are not! Beautiful landscaping and a quiet pool make for a nice little hideaway when you're tired of the busy Cabarete beach. Great bang for your buck--basic accommodations, but hard to beat the price for what you get.||||Highly recommended!!

It's like staying in a botanical garden, or a rainforest. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and great pool area. The best part is the not only is it literally across the street from beautiful Cabarete Beach, but it's in the middle of the action. Walking distant to amazing beachfront restaurants. They turn into lounges and dance clubs after the dinner rush. We had so much fun!

The Hotel is not far from the Center of Cabarete and just a short walk to the beach. And the pictures suggest a nice and friendly place. But our room was outright filthy, not cleaned in ages. The sink moldy. There was hardly warm water for the shower, the shower curtain was dirty and slimy. The furniture old and run down the room filled with unnessessary crap, just like a junkjard.||||We were booked here through a travel agent and had no choice. But if you do have one, look for something else.

Dogs barking, roosters crowing, smokers coughing next door every morning! The unit we stayed in had no AC so we had to have windows open. The pool and grounds were neat and clean, people friendly. Had to cross the road and walk about 1/4 mile to the beach. The drivers there are crazy!

I stayed at these condos for a week-long training I attended with about 30 other people. it is located right at the beginning of town, a 3 minute walk to the beach and 1 minute walk to shops and restaurants.||||The condos are nice, really big with full kitchens, TVs, fast high-speed wireless internet and lots of space. ||||The pool is nice and there was hardly anyone ever in it!||||Bring your own dishsoap!

Stayed there many times, nice condos, good pool (unheated, a little cool), friendly staff. The hotel has a lot of vegetation, keeps the noise level from the street down, but only a 5 minute walk to the town center and the beach.
