If everyone says it’s a hidden gem for authentic Arabic food, we had to give it a try…and it truly is! The food was absolutely fantastic and rich in taste, the service was impeccable (thank you so much, Bizay) and the terrace seats are very comfortable. And all comes at a great price! The best: we ordered “a rice” but we got “arayes” — never heard about it before but we simply loved it! Try it as well, you will not regret.

This place serves authentic Arabic food, we ordered a fresh and delicious salad, fresh chicken and meat grill. They serve delicious fresh bread along with mouth watering hummus. Highly recommend this restaurant

AL BAIT AL ATEEQ RESTAURANT, or "The Old House Restaurant" as it translates, is a true gem in Abu Dhabi. It's a haven for traditional cuisine, offering an authentic experience that goes beyond just the food. The restaurant's décor evokes a bygone era, with its warm, inviting ambiance and traditional furnishings. high-quality ingredients. The service is warm and welcoming, making you feel like a guest in their home.

We visited this restaurant and had a mixed experience. We sat inside for over 5 minutes without a waiter coming to us, as it felt like we were invisible. Once we ordered, the shawarma arrived quickly, in about 7 minutes. However, we clearly asked for extra Mexican sauce, but it didn’t come as expected, so we had to order a separate plate of sauce. On the bright side, the shawarma was above average, and the meat and potato sandwich was absolutely the best! The atmosphere is great, although the chairs are a bit uncomfortable. Overall, it was a good experience despite some issues with service. I’d still recommend it, but they could definitely use more staff to improve customer attention.

This is an amazing place for food, ambience and quality time. Foaad the steward is really sweet and friendly. Helps you with the order and recommends the best item as per our liking. I'm always tempted to visit this place every time I pass by. Hummus and Stuffed falafal is a must have. Manakish with labneh is a favourite. And don't forget the pomegranate sauce. Ohhhh it's delicious. Outdoor seating area is so nice during winters. Must visit this place and enjoy the delicious meals.

Such friendly folks there! Very warm and welcoming service. Highly recommend the shawarma wrapped in saj bread. Crispy on the outside with generous portion of chicken within. The cheese manakeesh is amazing too- very thin crust and the cheese is flavorful. We appreciate the fresh ingredients that goes inside the salad. Restaurant interior is warmly lit with chandeliers and very clean. There is outdoor seating too but it’s next to the main road and the highway. The dust and noise, cobbled with the endless honking from takeaway customers in their cars made it unfortunately not comfortable to enjoy the outdoor seating. Parking is easy. Plenty available out front.
