Our time in Lucca was an exceptional experience as we stayed at the most quaint, friendly, and comfortable hotel. From the staff to the beautiful decorations of the hotel…I can’t say enough! The rooms are lovely. The breakfast is expansive offering many choices. Really, you have to see it to truly appreciate the experience it offers. You will not be disappointed!

Wow Wow Wow!||First STOP looking at other hotels in Lucca and book this!||My daughter and I arrived yesterday and are having the most wonderful time at this hotel, It’s just perfect! The staff are super friendly and helpful, the rooms are just quintessentially unique and pretty, it is exceptionally clean and has everything you could possibly need. The hotel is exceptionally priced for what you are receiving.||The location is slap bang in the middle of Lucca with everything a few minutes walk away. ||We are only here a couple of nights unfortunately but will absolutely be returning and recommending to all our friends and family.||Honestly, it’s up there with my favourite hotels purely for the individuality and character!||Book this now fellow travelers and thank me later!

We love this hotel and we were delighted to return in 2025. We recommended it to the brother and his wife. They loved it too. Attention to small details are very important and this hotel excels. Friendly service at the desk, stewed apple at breakfast, individually hand painted different bedrooms … the list goes on and on. Everyone staying there seems to be in good form, which is telling in itself. There’s a nice wine tasting bar on the premises for 2025 where €6 per ensures a beautiful glass of something local and splendid - and a short and knowledgeable explanation. We just love this hotel.

A beautiful hotel, we had a clean and spacious room. Service is wonderful and makes you feel at home. Breakfast is generous filled with home made pastries, all presented in beautiful dishes.

This is a gorgeous, quaint hotel in a great location just off the main street in Lucca and a short distance from access to the city walls. The staff are really friendly and helpful, and there's a wine bar to the side where we enjoyed delicious wines and got great recommendations for places to eat. I loved it and would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I spent two nights at this charming hotel. The staff are most helpful and friendly and very attentive at breakfast time. The selection at breakfast was very impressive with fresh coffees made to order. The room was very comfortable with everything available for your comfort. Thank you for making our stay so nice.

Lucca is a charming town and found within it’s walls is this equally charming hotel. Paolo and the team seamlessly deliver Italian hospitality at its best. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated and the hotel serves one of the best continental breakfast spreads I have I have had. But it’s the staff that makes really this place special, efficient, yet friendly and informal nothing seemed too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

A very charming hotel within the walls of Lucca. Could be hard to find down a small street that was only two blocks long. The staff was great. Most spoke acceptable English for hotel workers. Very pleasant to deal with. Our room had a good sized bedroom and a setting room with a couch. All the walls and most of the ceiling had murals on them. Bathroom had a separate shower and a whirlpool bathtub. Everything looked new and very clean. The breakfast spread was the largest I have seen in years. There were oranges to make fresh juice. A juicer to juice fresh vegetables. Cook your own soft or hard boiled eggs. Fruit, cheese, sweets, yogurt, coffee ect. I am sure I have missed some breakfast items. The only thing missing was fish that you find in Northern European breakfasts. In the afternoon you could get coffee or tea by asking. The one time I did this they did not charge me and I do not know if they charged the travel company. The only slightly negative item was our room overlooked a kitchen that made noise late into the night. With the window closed it was fine.

Where do we begin?! This hotel exceeded all of our expectations! We visited during our honeymoon, and we were impressed with not only the accommodations, but also the location of this hotel. Located in the city center and behind the Lucca wall, the hotel is both charming and authentic. With modern accommodations, such as a jacuzzi tub and flat screen tv, this hotel also has all of its original charm. We are definitely coming back!
