Albergo Gardesana - Residenza d'epoca

This is a delightful, family run hotel on the shores of Lake Garda. It’s comfortable without being flashy. Everything is done to the highest professional standard and you feel that they really care about their guests as individuals. It’s totally relaxing. The B&B prices are exceptionally fair and the buffet breakfast is extremely good with plenty of choice. We first stayed there more than twenty years ago and the fundamental ethos hasn’t changed. The owner is fully hands-on and clearly values his very nice staff. I have no doubt that we’ll be back at some point.

We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful “old world “ hotel. This was our 20+ years of visiting. We love the charm and character not to mention the location which is centre of town and on the lake. The breakfasts on the terrace are amazing (cappuccino’s are awesome). The entire staff is excellent, polite and professional. |This is a small old hotel, with smaller rooms than big hotel chains.

A magical lakeside escape – unforgettable stay!||My best friend and I stayed at Hotel Gardesana last month and we honestly didn’t want to leave. Everything about this place was straight out of a dream – from the warm welcome to the stunning views across Lake Garda. The location in Torri del Benaco is perfect – peaceful, charming and just the right mix of relaxation and adventure.||Everything about the hotel was perfect – the setting, the views, the incredibly friendly staff. We felt truly welcomed and completely at home from the moment we arrived. Elia and Tommy were both so lovely and friendly, always greeting us with a smile and Mirko, the manager, was just as kind – more than happy to help with anything we needed. Their warmth really added to the experience and made our stay even more special.||Our room was beautiful, tucked up on the top floor with a view overlooking the harbour and the castle. We loved looking out of the windows every morning and night – it quickly became a favourite part of the day.||Breakfast was a peaceful highlight each day, with a wonderful selection of food and the loveliest spot to sit out on the terrace. We were often joined by little bird friends, with the harbour stretching out in front of us – a picture-perfect way to start the morning!||My best friend and I spent the whole week laughing and making so many memories together – especially celebrating my birthday. The hotel made it feel even more special with a surprise bottle of prosecco and a birthday card left for us in the room from staff. Such a thoughtful touch that meant the world.||Hotel Gardesana felt like a home away from home. It was the perfect location for everything we had planned and we’re already dreaming of coming back. Cannot fault this wonderful hotel. Spotlessly clean, very helpful and friendly staff, which is why this is our third visit, 2017, 2022 and 2025. The very high standards have been maintained over all these years. The breakfast choices are wide and varied. Location is marvellous. Hint, in 2022 we stayed during May (this year June) and found the lake was just too cold to swim. We were advised however by some English guests that the water was ideally warm for swimming. This is a very popular hotel with German visitors

We had an excellent stay at Albergo Gardesana. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind, the breakfast was plentiful, varied and superbly presented. The bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable and well appointed and the views from the balcony and breakfast terrace were delightful. Parking was easy and convenient. We look forward to our next visit.

Beautiful felt like I was at a resort. The included breakfast each day was delightful and oh so tasty. The room was very inviting, roomy and clean. The staff I interacted with went beyond to take care of things for us. I highly recommend the hotel and area.

A romantic gem by Lake Garda|What a wonderful and romantic hotel! Albergo Gardenia offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are spotless every day, with fresh towels provided daily. The breakfast is truly outstanding – luxurious, varied, and prepared with great care. Everything about this place is just right. Highly recommended!

The hotel is perfectly located with an amazing view on the lake and the castle, especially from the breakfast terrace (with a plentiful buffet)|We had a small issue with a water leak in our room, which was simply addressed by providing us with extra towels, but apart from that the stay was very good.

First off, the hotel is a great stay. The restaurant is located inside of the hotel. Staff is #1! I work at a hotel, and the service we received was beyond anything I expected! Back to the restaurant, food was fantastic, great taste and flavor. It is not your typical menu, but ask about popular dishes and you won't be disappointed. We dined here 2 times and both times were phenomenal. Food 8 out of 5, service 10 out of 5 (I cannot put the service into words! Mr D and his staff create a dining experience for you. You never feel rushed and if you ask any questions they get answered. I had told Mr. D what I wanted, he recommended the prawn tempura and the chef special. Both dishes were fantastico!! So delicious and full of flavor. If you are looking for great fine, a great experience, and great food in Torri this is the place to reserve!

As many times before, we had very enyoyable stay in this cute hotel right on the port of Torre del Benaco.
