The BEST hotel experience I have ever had. The La Minerva Team couldn't have been more attentive, helpful, and kind. When my husband come back to Capri we will not be staying anywhere else besides La Minerva - the team makes you feel like family and we are already planning our next trip and telling all of our friends and family to stay here - you will not regret it! The team made all of our dinner and beach club reservations, including a booking for a private boat tour - they made everything so easy. We loved the rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner - there was an amazing singer the night we had dinner here and it was easily our favorite night our whole honeymoon. Our room was beautiful, location was perfect - can't recommend enough.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment we arrived, it was clear we were staying at a hotel truly cared for by its family owners, now in the hands of the third generation. The owner himself oversees every detail—guests are greeted with warmth and the genuine attention that comes from a family legacy. Staff throughout, including the concierge team, were exceptionally professional, warm, and eager to assist. We found concierge service to be consistently excellent. Our room was spotlessly clean and refreshed daily—linen crisp, surfaces immaculate. Guests regularly comment on the high level of cleanliness here  . Meals were memorable: breakfast offered variety and quality, and the food & beverage service throughout the day was truly impressive. Reviewers frequently highlight the dining as a standout feature of the hotel  . If there was one wish, it would be for unlimited pool access—being able to use the pool all day would elevate the experience even more. Final thought: A family-run gem where owner oversight, spotless rooms, superb concierge and dining combine for an exceptional stay. Couldn’t recommend more!

Honeymoon Stay – Simply Unforgettable Our stay was absolutely impeccable. This boutique hotel perfectly captures the essence and charm of Capri. Owned and personally managed by two brothers, their hands-on approach and genuine hospitality shine through in every detail. The entire team—owners included—goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is nothing short of exceptional. The concierge service was outstanding, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them. The on-site restaurant served some of the finest meals we had during our time in Capri—truly memorable. We were generously upgraded to a dream-worthy room with a breathtaking view, making our honeymoon even more special. An absolute must when visiting Capri.

I’m someone who truly values privacy and impeccable service, which is why I tend to stay at Aman properties whenever possible. While Capri doesn’t have an Aman, Hotel Minerva comes very close to delivering that same understated sense of luxury.||What makes Minerva so special is its intimacy. The owners are incredibly detail‑oriented and genuinely committed to crafting the best possible experience for every guest. From tailored itineraries to their excellent private boat and insider restaurant recommendations, everything feels thoughtfully curated.||The rooftop terrace, where breakfast is served, is a highlight—breathtaking views paired with a serene atmosphere. The poolside restaurant feels like you’re dining at a friend’s home, and the lobby has the warmth of a beautifully designed living room where someone you know personally pours you a drink.||The location is exceptional, and the views from the rooms are spectacular. Every corner of the property has been considered to make you feel both at ease and quietly indulged.||Within Europe, I’ve stayed at some of the top summer destinations—Cap Rocat, Belmond La Residencia Mallorca, Amanzoe, Aman Sveti Stefan, and San Domenico Palace Taormina—and I can confidently say that Minerva ranks among them. It’s that perfect blend of discreet service, intimate atmosphere, and a true sense of place.

We stayed at La Minerva for three nights in October and had the most wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome — the hotel has such a warm, family-like atmosphere and the service is outstanding everywhere: reception, restaurant, housekeeping (twice a day!), and even small details that make you feel truly cared for.||Breakfast was delicious and dinner was simply exceptional — definitely Michelin-level, thanks to Chef Antonio Balbi. The location is perfect, just a short walk from Capri’s main square, the Gardens of Augustus, and all the boutique shops.||Our room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with a terrace overlooking the sea. We also loved the heated swimming pool and the relaxing massage service, which made our stay even more special.||We honestly loved everything — it’s one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We’ll definitely recommend La Minerva to friends and can’t wait to come back!

La Minerva is a local family owned boutique hotel with wonderful amenities and all of the offerings of a larger hotel. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. |Our room was wonderful with a great view of the ocean, a very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. |The pool was wonderful with plenty of seat options and great service around the pool. |Morning breakfast on the roof was included in our room price and was always delicious. |The location is perfect with again the wonderful views, yet an easy 2 minute walk the the famed Capri shopping district. |A great stay.

We visited Capri in May 2025 and a wonderful stay at La Minerva. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with every detail considered. The decor, the tiles, the artwork, the views, all absolutely stunning. The property is beautifully thought out and maintained; flowers and fruit trees everywhere; a warm inviting pool; a comfortable living room in the lobby for aperitivo. But most noticable and appreciated was the friendliness and kindness of the staff. From the owners to the lovely people at the front desk, the bartender, the servers in the restaurant, the housekeeping, I could on and on. Everyone is professional and incredibly friendly. It truly feels like you are staying with family or good friends. We even ran into Federica (front desk) one evening on our way back to the hotel, when her shift was over, and she stopped to ask us how our dinner was. Thank you La Minerva for thinking of everything and for making our mother/daughter trip so memorable. We can't wait to come back!

One of the best meals we've ever had. And wonderful service. Also very accommodating of my food (dairy) allergy. Could not recommend more.

Beautiful hotel in Capri. We were greeted with the most amazing hospitality by the staff which included a family member of the owner. The property was absolutely gorgeous and quite easy to get to once we got to Capri. The walk there included many designer shops. Our room was immaculate and decorated so nicely. The staff knocked on our door and brought us a freshly baked good and the most delicious lemonade! Shortly after our arrival, we walked over to the pool which was nice and quiet. There is a pool bar that served delicious drinks. Gino really hooked us up by making one of our favorite drinks (even though it wasn't on the menu!) Everyone we interacted with was extremely accommodating and sweet. We ended up just having dinner via room service since we were exhausted. The food and drinks were amazing! Unfortunately we only spent one night in Capri but we will definitely be back! We met many wonderful people during our stay that mentioned that they have been coming here for years.

Quite honestly the best hotel stay of my life. My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon and the service could not have been more personal, helpful, and friendly. The hotel is family run and you can feel that they are good people with a strong focus on service. We stayed in the "Emma" suite which has a large semi-private balcony for morning lounging. Views are great from most spots in the hotel. And best, when departing the hotel staff took care of booking our ferry tickets to Positano, our next stop. We will absolutely be looking forward to our next stay at La Minerva!

My first time to this hotel and it was perfect from the moment I walked in the door. The family is so gracious the service is spectacular and Kamal is the heart of this hotel!! The views are like heaven the property is kept so beautiful, the food is so delicious The lemon pasta is a MUST!! I can't say enough about this hotel, I highly recommend to anyone visiting Capri I have already booked my room for next year!!

We are so sad to be leaving La Minerva. It is a very special place with beautiful views, rooms and a very genuinely gracious staff. The family owners made us feel so welcome. The Emma room was gorgeous with a large sitting area and patio. We are in LOVE and hope to be back soon! Also,Kamal who serves a beautiful breakfast was so enjoyable and gave a great start to our days in Capri.

This small hotel is just what the doctor ordered. Quiet with a great staff, just off of the beaten path. The rooms are immaculate , with awesome views.

This was our second stop on our Italy honeymoon and it absolutely blew us away from the moment we walked through the front doors. The hotel is breathtakingly beautiful, from the decor to the views to the breakfast rooftop to the oversized terrace connected to our room to the pool. My wife and I kept commenting on how we felt the room rate was a steal for everything we received. But the true special part of La Minerva is the family who runs it. The brothers who handle the front desk were so friendly, warm, inviting, and helpful. They gave us so much useful advice and booked so many porters, boats, and taxis for us. The entire stay was perfect from start to finish and we will ABSOLUTELY go back there when we get the chance.

love love love. the owners, all 3 were wonderful. great room great location. I would go there again and again. wish they answered my email about the olives. Want to buy some but don't know which variety they were. oh well. best olives I have had.
