We booked this beautiful hotel by chance and were enchanted by all the details (art, charming service, gorgeous rooms), the experience (modern art amidst old school walls; attentive staff, luxurious rooms and bathrooms) and the location (lovely town with great restaurants, bike to beach). I can highly recommend a stay at this great "Albergo". First with the staff, from Veronica at the front desk (a great help with booking beach clubs, restaurants and other recommendations), Mirco (who helped us into the parking garage, luggage, organizing our bikes) and Guiseppe (the maestro who made everything else happen from breakfast, drinks in the fabulous garden, a coffee in the morning, a tea in the afternoon) you are immediately made to feel at home. We had a room on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the garden, very quiet, spacious. Gorgeous bathrooms with marble from nearby mountains. Great wifi throughout the hotel for when we had to take work calls in our rooms, work in the garden or living room. The modern art placed throughout the hotel makes you happy. The town itself is charming with shops, restaurants and plenty art galleries. It is very easy to bike to the beach (hotel provides very comfortable bikes) and explore nearby Forte dei Marmi (which has great shops - all could have been coming straight from Madison Avenue or Worth Street) - just 6 kilometers away. Or drive to nearby Pisa or Florence or any great place in the country of Tuscany. A "home" away from home.

Must stay hotel if you’re lucky enough to be in Pietrasanta. There is a delicious feast for breakfast and the hotel is beautiful and the staff go above and beyond. Truly.

We stayed one night at this palazzo hotel in the center of the old town of Pietrasanta. We booked through SLH and were given an upgrade upon arrival. Our room and bathroom were spacious, well appointed and clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. |Arriving at the hotel took a bit of driving around as it is located in a pedestrian area. I was assured by the hotel that I could pull up in front when I arrived. You can do this by taking the Vicolo Lavatoi on the side of the hotel (there is sign indicating that this is an “area pedonale” but there is a tiny sign underneath that says hotel guests may proceed) and turning left onto Via Garibaldi. |The hotel offers parking for 30 euros a night, but there is a free parking lot directly in front of the Carabinieri station and within easy walking distance (after you have dropped off your bags).|The old town center has many nice shops and restaurants.

My wife and I recently stayed at 5 very wonderful hotels and villas across Northern Italy. The Albergo Pietrasanta was by far the best. The staff treated us like family and like royalty at the same time. Everyone did what they could to make our stay exceptional. The room was exceptionally comfortable, elegant and magical. We highly recommend this Albergo and the wonderful little comune of Pietrasanta.

I loved Albergo Pietrasanta. I think it had the balance between having very comfortable rooms, beds, exquisite decoration and not feeling that it was too much. Breakfast area is so nice as well!||If I had to add an 'but' it would be not having fresh orange juice in Italy! The rest was just spotless: amazing staff as well.

Wonderful spaces to lounge, gorgeous original art collection displayed throughout the hotel, very tastefully decorated, a charming breakfast greenhouse with a great breakfast spread, and a shaded garden, professional staff, personable and helpful, and nicely laid out rooms feeling luxurious. Loved my stay, it felt like being in a spacious, beautiful, large private home. The location is marvellous, best street, best place to stay for sure! I will be back! Ursula Beatt

The hotel itself is very tastefully decorated, both the rooms and common space. The staff was very helpful, providing quality recommendations and accommodation for our family. The hotel also has a nice breakfast spread in a small courtyard, which is quite nice. ||Highly recommend this hotel if you’re in Pietrasanta.

This elegant hotel grand little hotel sits in the middle of the one of the great underknown gems of Tuscany, Pietrasanta. Everything from the Albergo is walking distance, including the town's elegant piazza (with impressive modern sculptures from local marble) for late night promenades, cafes and cocktails. The train station is nearby too. The service at the hotel is quietly impeccable and the breakfast is imaginative and delicious. The owner's important contemporary art collection adds to the cultured atmosphere. And If you want to get to trendy Forte Dei Marmi for luxury shopping and a swim in the sea, the hotel provides bikes for an easy ride on a safe and well used bike path under shady trees. Even in the busy summer tourist season, Albergo Pietrasanta is a calm oasis of genteel old Europe.
