Albergo Ristorante Belvedere

I spent couple of nights in this hotel/restaurant. The owner is the receptionist, chef etc. The place is very nica and located in an unique area. The rooms are so fancy and nice. I'd highlight two things. The food done by owner. It's exceptional, traditional local gastronomy. The second highlight is the professional hosting by the owner. Really worth to go there and try.

I have stayed at Albergo Belvedere 4 different times over 5 years and all with the same excellent service and accommodations. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and every room I have stayed in has a fantastic view of the Roero hills. Marco the owner is a pleasant and very accommodating host. The restaurant offers excellent traditional piemontese dishes with a specialty of having at least one dish with white truffles in each course (when in season). A full meal of the truffle courses can get expensive by Italian countryside standards, but is <50% of what it would be anywhere else in the world. There is limited parking on site, but within 150m of the hotel is large public parking area. I highly recommend this location for wine tourists in the Langhe who do not want to stay in the larger more touristic towns. There are a number of excellent producers of Roero in the immediate area and Monta is a short drive from both the Barbaresco and Barolo regions.

Soggiorno stupendo. L’Hotel è elegantissimo, curato nei minimi dettagli e davvero piacevole. Le camere sono spaziose e dotate di ogni comfort. La piscina è moderna, in pietra e molto intima, una chicca. Ci siamo trattenuti soltanto una notte, ma siamo stati accolti e coccolati da Marco come se fossimo di famiglia, di una gentilezza e professionalità quasi rara ormai. La sua cucina è genuina e deliziosa! E la vista… non ha bisogno di recensioni. Tutto perfetto!

Het 50 jarig huwelijk gevierd van mijn ouders. Een diner compleet verzorgd door Marco. Werkelijk voortreffelijk. De ambiance, het uitzicht en de sfeer.
