When I arrived at the albergo, I felt like I’d stepped into a little utopia. The owner is a sweet retired professor who runs the place with his wife and son, and the service is amazing. If you have any questions about the history of the albergo, the town, or the food, they’ll make sure you get every detail. Dinner always came with antipasto, primo piatto, secondo piatto, and a bottle of wine. all delicious and made with ingredients from their own farm. Breakfast was incredible too, with fresh homemade pastries, dreamy ricotta cheese, and homemade jams. I still dream about the lime jam I tried there.
There aren’t enough words to describe their kindness, hospitality, and truly outstanding service. I’d come back a thousand times. There’s no better experience in Morano Calabro (and even if you stay somewhere else, you should definitely go eat at Villa San Domenico at least once) Grazie mille Tonino!!!!
