So grateful to this lovely hotel for taking us in last minute as our original hotel did not accept dogs. Beautiful room, warm welcome. Delicious coffee at breakfast. Thank you all so much!

I've never stayed there although I have seen the rooms and they look very nice. But I've eaten there several times and always had great food and good service. The location is wonderful. It just never fit my schedule for the evening stay

We stayed here one night. The main downside is that many of the staff were rude, one nice lady, and the others indifferent.||The rooms are OK. The breakfast was adequate (and they have gluten free items). The bar is well stocked. I wouldn’t be excited to stay here again.

We enjoyed in June 2025 two extraordinary nights in this amazing historical hotel! Rosemarie is a wonderful host. Also her team was very friendly and the meal very delicious. We were lucky to have the most beautiful room (the big one!) If you like historical places it is a must have to stay at the Vittoria. It has it's price but absolutely worth to pay! There is a lot what you can explore on the way down to Chiavenna! We loved the hotel and the Splügen/Spluga region and recommend it highly!

Cozy hotel in the city center with delicious food and a charming owner who offers local stories and hiking advice when asked. It is on the expensive side which is justified considering it's location high in the alps.

Disappointing Experience Last September, due to heavy rainfall, we had to cut our bike trip short and ended up staying at this hotel. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. First, the pricing felt exploitative. As one of only two hotels after the Splügen Pass, they charged us €180 for a 3-person room, even though we were only two guests. The room itself felt more like a basic cabin and didn’t justify the high price. The service was also underwhelming. The staff seemed irritable and unwelcoming, which added to our discomfort. The worst part, however, was the laundry service. Instead of washing and drying our clothes, they only dried them—leaving us with dirty, warm clothes. Who dries unwashed laundry? To make matters worse, they charged us an additional €15 for this incomplete service without informing us beforehand. For context, running a high-powered dryer (3000W) for two hours in Italy (~0,12€/kWh) costs approximately €0.72, making this surcharge seem excessive. Overall, the combination of overpriced accommodations, poor service, and lack of transparency left us deeply disappointed.

We stopped to have lunch and I pizzoccheri della Valtellina, were really bad. I felt like I eat sand… I don’t know the reason, maybe because a specific condiment or the flour from which the pasta was made but they tasted bad

We are happy to have found this hidden scenic gem at a lake under the mountain peaks before the Swiss border - a truly memorable visit. Run by kind, international hosts who have tastefully renovated the hotel with comfortable rooms and stunning views. Great food, friendly atmosphere and spectacular mountain hikes in pure nature made us relax fully. We hope to return for skiing adventures in the winter.
