The establishment is timeless, like dinning in an European palace. The downside being visibility from waitresses is poor so that you may raise your hand and sometimes shout out rather than make eye contact. The food and wine selection is great.

You will regret if you don't try this restaurant before leaving macau. Really on point, authentic dishes and phenomenal and touching service. SOP great, so efficient yet not rushed to finish off the meal. Ella, one of the staff, she is really thoughtful. You need to make sure on communicating with her with smiles! Carmen, the lady to organise the flow of guests, absolutely helpful. This popular place is fully packed and easily queued up before you make it to entrance. Make sure you book OR queue up early. all dishes are great.

This is an original Portuguese restaurant. My husband and I have a fantastic and delicious dinner at here. The seafood is fresh and tasty. Moreover, the suckling pig with hand made potato chips is a must try dish. Ella and Ricardo are very friendly and enthusiastic to serve.

The food and service were amazing. We were served by Ella who was attentive, charismatic, and very meticulous. Atmosphere was nice and cozy. Special mention to the piri piri chicken. Thanks again Ella!

In liked the vibe and decor of this restaurant. The restroom doors were the very ancient Chinese style, very interesting. The food we ordered was good. While the menu offers limited choices, I did see some very typical Portuguese cuisine including the vegetable potato soup. I felt the service was a bit slow in the beginning but then we did not wait for very long for the food to be served. Overall my experience was good. I noticed that most of the servers were from the Philippines instead of locals.

Honestly the food was superb!!! Everything tasted so so so good! The staff are super nice and friendly too!! The staff Ella was serving us and she was supper attentive and friendly. If you’re there, must order would be the following - crab pate + mini toast - shredded potato + fish - seafood rice - suckling pig - piri piri chicken - duck rice - white wine clam

Delicious! Must get the crab toast & seafood stew! The olive oil provided at the table is so high quality and has great flavor. Make sure to dip the bread in it

We enjoyed our evening at Albergue. I was pleasantly surprised by the wine selection. The food is solid, sea food fresh and the service warm and pleasant. We would love to come back again.
