4.5 stars Venue: This restaurant is situated in a complex. There are Portuguese style houses, outdoor courtyard, and 2 Camphor trees in the middle of the complex. A big Portuguese roaster statue is standing outside the restaurant. Nice reception area. Good upstairs to the dining area. Fine dining setting. High ceiling. Traditional Portuguese decor and poetry illustrations. Packed as fixed floor plan. Nice background Fado music. Nostalgic Restrooms. Reservation is recommended. --- 8.7/10 Service: Not busy. Walked in Tuesday lunchtime. The receptionist indicated us to go upstairs. Then, to be seated in one of the cubicles. Baskets were given for placing customer's bags on the floor. Tap water was available, but we needed to ask for refilling water for 2 times. Reasonable waiting time for food. Card payment at table. Polite and gentle staff. --- 8.5/10 F&B: Portuguese cuisine. Good presentation. Reasonable portion. Acceptable prices for good service and good food. Worthy. - Bread with Olive spread: bread was average. Free for the first batch. - Seafood Rice Stew, MOP 348: There were 2 very big mussels (half-shell on, beard), 3 big prawns, 3 clams, and squid). Rice was full of flavors. --- 8.8/10 - Roasted Suckling Pig, MOP 398: served with 3 orange slices and homemade Portuguese potato chips. Crispy crackling. Tender meat. --- 8.5/10 - Drunken Pear Poached in Port Wine, MOP 72: sweet wine. Softened pear.--- 8/10

The food was very good! I don’t like fish at all but the codfish was surprisingly good! The waiters here are very attentive and nice! Will definitely come back next time when I travel to Macau. ❤️

Visiting Macau for the first time on holiday and wanted to try out Portuguese cuisine. Albergue is a pleasant Michelin 1 star located just east of the old colonial fort. After hiking through the old quarters my family and I were famished. We had booked reservations the night before. It was quick and easy. After touching base briefly on WhatsApp, the restaurant confirmed tourist casual is ok. The food was great. We had the Seafood Rice and the Suckling Pig. Recommended starters were pretty good, especially the crab toast. Highly recommended.

This is the best Portuguese restaurant I have ever been!!!! The food is remarkable. Every dish is like a wow factor ! The servers were super nice and friendly. We left our luggage at the restaurant and they waited for us to come back before closing. The restaurant is in an old heritage building and within walking distance to the famous facade.

We had dinner on 8/9/2025 to celebrate birthday. I made the reservation two weeks in advance m, which was very convenient since they allow online booking. There are many Portuguese restaurants in Macau, but I chose this one after watching a good review by @PerfectContinuousEat on YouTube. We tried most of the chef’s signature dishes, and overall the food was delicious and flavourful. Service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and helpful, especially our waitress Ms. Ella, who guided us through the menu, shared the history behind the dishes, and gave great recommendations. She even offered to call a taxi for us when we asked where to get one, which was a thoughtful touch. The restaurant itself has a charming, historic atmosphere, interestingly, some scenes from Jackie Chan’s new movie The Shadow Edge were filmed here, which makes dining feel even more special. A lovely experience overall, highly recommended for those looking to enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine in Macau.

We got lucky we found this gem! The restaurant was super nice and quiet. The service was very gooooood! All the food that we had was fresh! The server recommended us a bottle of wine that we wanted and even the dessert was very delish! Would definitely come back 200% if we are ever back in town!

Just had an amazing dinner with my wife tonight. From the second they opened the door for us to the moment we left, everyone was so genuinely nice. We got the octopus salad and the seafood rice that our waiter recommended, and it was absolutely delicious. And honestly, the service was the best we've ever had all over Macau!!! Every single person was smiling. Keep it up guyss we’d love to try the other restaurant that the staff have recommended

This resto offers authentic Portugeuse food! We ordered a mini-salad, clams and garlic shrimps and they were soooooo good! and their service was on point! Ella is the sweetest I’ve ever met! She provides professional services!! I would re-visit this place 200% if Ella stills works here! Ella, you made our Macau dinner amazing, THANK YOU!!
