Lovely place to get fresh fruit, street food, flowers and cheese! We enjoyed walking through this vibrant market.
We came at 10 AM so it was rather quiet and some places weren’t even ready yet. It got more crowded during lunchtime and in the afternoon.

We visited the Albert Cuyp Market as a family and had a great time exploring the vibrant stalls. From fresh stroopwafels to colorful souvenirs, there was something for everyone. The atmosphere was lively, and the mix of cultures made it feel truly local and unique. A perfect spot to stroll, snack, and soak up the energy of the city!

I really enjoyed the market – walking around and finding small, charming shops was so much fun. I bought dumplings, cheese, and waffles, and browsed stalls with accessories, handbags, and shirts. Such a lovely way to spend the afternoon.

Exploring Albert Cuyp Market was a fun and lively experience. The market is bustling with energy, with stalls selling everything from fresh produce to souvenirs and street food. I tried the stoof, which was a bit sweet, the kibbeling, and an apple pie that was absolutely delicious—all tasty highlights of the visit. I loved wandering through the colorful stalls, sampling local treats, and soaking up the authentic Amsterdam vibe. Friendly vendors and the variety of foods made it a memorable and enjoyable experience.

I think it was alright, not really a must go for me as many things are similar as you walk through the market. When I was there many shops were not open as well even though there are still many tourists. There are unexpectedly more Turkish/Arabic cuisine more than local Dutch specialties when I was there.
But after many days in Amsterdam, this was the only place I found that were selling fresh made Stroopwaffle, the soft and gooey kind. So it is worth going there if you wish to try it.

Great market, lots of food variety, all kinds of foods from all over the world; also fresh fish, meat, bread, produce, coffee, flowers, a ton of souvenirs, some clothes, handmade items, jewelry, fresh stroowaffel, cheese, perfume. I love markets like this and this was very satisfying. Took about 2 hours to explore. Easily accessible via transit.

One of my favorite places in Amsterdam. It offers so many options for street food and shopping at a more reasonable cost than the city center. A vibrant and fun market
