It’s really small compared to other museums. There are some interesting creations but not worth it overall. There are 2 floors only, and they are small. The youth ticket was 14€. You can leave your luggage in boxes, you need a 1 or 2€ coin.

I left it speechless and after more than 2 hours. Was so lucky to see Hirst's exhibition! Definitely the best museum of contemporary art I have ever visited.

Wonderful! It’s always worth a visit and the many temporary exhibitions are often really top notch and well curated. Beautiful building - ideally to spend the whole day

Wong, Monet, Van Gogh, Picasso, Degas paintings in one place – it was honestly such a beautiful experience to see these in flesh, we especially enjoyed the special Wong exhibition. We were also lucky and it wasn't crowded at all so we enjoyed our stay at Albertina so much. 😊

Beautiful building and great exhibitions. It was nice and cool inside. Friendly staff explained well the current exhibition and advised on what to choose. Exhibition upstairs was very informative and children enjoyed it very much😃

I had quite high expectations for my visit to the Albertina Museum, but my feelings are mixed. I was under the impression that I’d get to see works by Kiefer, Warhol and Lichtenstein — only to find out during my visit that, although the museum does own pieces by these artists, they weren’t on display at the time. Instead, I came across an exhibition mainly featuring artists from Germany (Beuys, Richter, Polke, Grosse). It’s surprising that when researching the museum online, there’s no clear note mentioning that the biggest names in contemporary art history are shown only occasionally. It’s definitely worth knowing that the exhibitions here are temporary, so it’s a good idea to check ahead and see what’s currently on display to avoid potential disappointment. That said, the museum itself is a beautiful place to visit. The grand entrance hall and impressive staircase are truly stunning and worth seeing in their own right. On the positive side, the staff were absolutely lovely and welcoming, and I did appreciate the opportunity to see an exhibition by the ever-provocative Damien Hirst.

It's always worth a visit! I've been there already a few times and never got dissapointed. It's the modern museum of the Albertina! It has a few floors!

I waited so long for this museum to open, during my last visit to Vienna it was not, and I was delightfully surprised at how well though out and purposefully curated the exhibition spaces were, not to mention the high emphasis on women artists, also called artists. Great impressions, even unforgettable. Museum counter staff were lovely, kind and friendly- helped me get a discount which I really appreciated. There was an entire floor space dedicated to a beautifully carved mahogany statue of an orangutan, you don't need to read anything to comprehend the importance of that, I beleive. There was also an exhibition with dolls/ plastic women watching chippendale's strip show, hilarious, and from the perspective of the stripper, not to mention the Maria Lassing paintings. There's a great mix of humour and afterthought here too. Excellent experience overall.
