We stopped hear while drive cross country from Atlanta to San Diego. This KOA is impeccably clean! The bathrooms are literally spotless, and the showers are nice and roomy. We give a big shout out to the property manager and staff do an incredible job with the sites. Literally, every site is spotless and raked! We would definitely stay here again.

They were extremely helpful when I rented a cabin last week. I was delayed and they made sure everything was perfect before I arrived. Easy check in/out. You MUST go to KAKTUS BREWING! Great beer! Great pizza- just walk out the back gate of the campground and you're there. They stayed open for me and made me the best pizza. The beer was incredible as well.

Google
From what I saw it was a very nicely kept campground and office staff was helpful. But as soon as we walked out of our rig, management stopped us and proceeded to forget how to talk to fellow human beings. I love the KOA family and stay often and have never written a negative review until now. Andrew made sure we knew his name and that he was the manager. So I just want to make sure the owner knows Andrew may need some soft skill training. PS Kactus Brewing next door ruled!

Google
Road noise and lights from a nearby business all night shining into our bedroom. Wonderful staff. Bathroom older but clean. Shower curtain allow water onto the floor. Spaces between the sites are very tight (2 stars)

We stayed for four nights for the balloon fiesta. The sight was pricey but expected because of the event. Our sight had a “patio” which is a bit misleading considering it’s just a patch of artificial grass that is barely big enough to fit the picnic table. No grills. No shade except for that provided by the really close RV in the adjacent site. But we weren’t unhappy until three days after we left when there was a $25 unauthorized charge to our credit card. When we asked about the charge, we were told that it was because they had to bring “special equipment” to our site to clean up dog hair. Not a good way to do business.

Google
We so enjoy staying at this KOA! The management is absolutely amazing! Always working to improve what is already a stellar campground. Cleanest bathrooms/showers! Pool and grounds always immaculate. Staff is incredibly kind, hardworking, and helpful! Been fulltime for 5 years, and don't find this quality of campground and commitment very often! Thanks for having us!

Google
As many others have posted, the campground would be fine without a toxic employee named Andrew, who unfortunately happens to be the manager. Extremely unprofessional and rude. We left a day early solely because of this individual. Hopefully after enough complaints the owner will do something about it.

I went yesterday on Oct 23 2024 around 5 pm and pulled up to the propane stations to fill my tanks the gentelman drove up in the golf cart right away instead of greating he was dead set on enssuring my tanks had the right date EPA this EPA that wich is all fine and dandy go get new tanks so as im loading my tanks after he filled 2 which came out to $30 not bad i turn my camper around to go use the clean out station as im hooking up i see tbe same gentelman in a distance staring at me i go on to my buisness. I did not catch these getelmans name but he had a tattoo behind his ear and wore glasses the other gentleman had his hair tied up . The gentelman with the glasses comes up and says i have to go pay for cleaning station i told him dang $15 dollars to dump i havnt even started dumping i had just conntected my hoses i told him i wont be using them any more he went and called his buddy whos a joke by the way. Parks his golf cart in front of my truck and told me this is a buisness and what did i think this shit is free. I told him i wont be using them anymore he stated i hope not sir. And he demanded i exit my vehicle and walk to pay my dump fee not moving his golf cart like he was trying to intimidate me and i get escorted to pay. First off im a disabled retired Marine with blown out knees it was safe to say i wasnt going very far with a 20 ft trailer. 2nd if thats the kind of people you have working with you i do not feel safe refering you to anyone that i care for to stay at your facility i felt as if i was beening singled out the worst service i have ever encountered. The world wide web is awesome a nd people need to know where to spend there hard earned money and this is not the facility.i will be contacting the owner or corporate office to make a formal complaint. I really hope yall clean up your staff because yall have a beautiful facility. Rob USMC Ret.

Yelp
We found this place last minute when we needed a place to stay since it was going to snow/rain and we didn't want to tent camping. Rented a little "cabin" house. Equipped with a small radiator and well insulated. The restrooms were AMAZING I was really surprised with how nice the toilets and showers are! We will definitely stay at Koa again. They even had a small TV with actual channels to watch! It is being your own bedding

Sam A.

Yelp
Clean older dated KOA with nice managers. Level spots easy to enter. Has several small cabins. NORTH of Albuquerque about 15 -17 miles from I-40 interchange. Area 5 miles north has some good restaurants and a Walmart to the West of I-25.

Tony R.

Yelp
Very well kept park. After people leave, maintenance is immediately at the site cleaning and racking the site level. All sites have astroturf patios and a picnic table. The next site over has the utilities right next to patio but no big deal. There's many activities in the summer months. Only thing I don't like is the showers with no separation from changing room and shower but they are private. Cool little brewery connected to park with great drinks and fabulous pizza. We're here beginning of April and park is busy but very quiet. Office has a little store with necessities and laundry room is through office. There is no fire pits allowed or even contained stoves allowed. Highway is just far enough not to cause noise.

Liz V.

Yelp
I'm long-term resident and we have had the best experience at this KOA. The managers are amazing. The bathrooms are clean. The store is cute. They have lots of nice gifts in the gift shop. Everybody is really friendly.

Ae C.

Yelp
We stayed during Ballon Fiesta so location was perfect! We were only there to sleep so the tight camping spot didn't bother us. The pool area is beautiful with a large patio with tables and chairs, small fountain. Bathrooms were clean and nicely kept. There are two dog runs on each side of grounds which is thoughtful! The cabins were nice with porches and charcoal grills at each.

David M.

Yelp
We were there just for the night, very well kept and the staff was very friendly. We had our dog with us and had no issues, pet friendly. There were areas where pets weren't allowed but that was understandable. Cool local brewery with homemade pizzas and live music was within walking distance.

Layla Ann S.

Yelp
My family will never go back, thank you but no thank you. What happen to the old staff, the new staff is very rude. We will never return. The tall lady that works the front desk is very rude, Angie. She made sure to let us know she was the manager. Rude.

Lilly L.

Yelp
Don't bring your service animal here, we were restricted from public areas and forced to leave the campground due to my medical condition and the constant need for his services. I was told that the other guests were jealous that their pets could not accompany them 100% of the time and I was told that if this was unacceptable to me then to leave the campground. With my life at risk without my service dog, we vacated the campground. Federal law is here to protect Service Animals & people with disabilities however this campground does not comply. We were only there for 16 hours before being told to leave.

Don J.

Yelp
A little bit of a drive from Albuquerque proper, but awesome all the same. Clean sites, friendly helpful staff, a little playground for the kids. They even cater to longer term guests. Laundry and a little general store on site. They lack some amenities of the other KOAs, but I'd trade all of those for what you get here. The internet is meh, and the signal for Verizon customers is pretty weak. T-mobile and ATT should be fine. The closest 5G tower is about a quarter mile away near the train station. All in all this place is good to stay and good for passing through.

Mary Beth R.

Yelp
We lasted less then an hour. Their "patio " site was lacking. I didn't feel safe. We went elsewhere.

Marla D.

Yelp
By far the best KOA we've stayed at this summer. The hosts were amazing and everyone was so very friendly. The bathrooms were nice and clean and the office/shop had lots of cool stuff. The grounds were very clean and well maintained and the pool was a wonderful temperature for the first weekend in October. Definitely a great place to stay for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta or any other time of the year. And don't miss out on the "speakeasy" type bar up the road from your campsite. Just follow the beer signs. We will absolutely be back!

Mayela A.

Yelp
I would never stay at this campground after the experience I just had. I went in to inquire about prices. We are travel nurses. She first quotes me $1,000/month. Then, a moment later she looks at a sticky note that says "April 1st $1,500," and quotes me $1,500/month. I told her, "why are you quoting me $1,500.Its not April 1st." She proceeds to tell me, "Don't look over there. I am telling you the price." I said, " I am looking over at the sticky note because thats what you're looking at." Mind you, Its not even February yet. I don't appreciate the Disrespect. Learn how to speak to potential customers. Do better!

Yelp
I give this RV park a "m'eh" rating. The spots here are VERY TIGHT! There are a TON of overnighters here, so this means that nice patio you're paying for is going to be unusable during the morning and evening while your neighbors are hooking up/packing up. And you are going to hear EVERYTHING! Park is across the street from an industrial area, so that's your view. And your noise. The cable connection at our spot was bad, and the long-term neighbor next door informed us that hers hadn't worked at all during the two months she'd been there. The water connection had a constant leak, and the pressure was poor. The Wi-Fi? They say they have it, but I could never get it to work. Talked to others and they said the same, no matter where they were located in the park it wouldn't work at all. The "Kamp K-9" areas are nice, but don't seem to get used much. No USPS deliveries here, but you can get UPS or FedEX. I can't say anything about the showers or laundry, as I didn't use either during the 11 nights we were here. The only real pro to this RV park is that it's located next door to Kaktus Brewing Company - they have a "secret entrance" to the brewery in the park, which was right across from our spot. It was nice to be able to walk over to our fav brewery in town for some food and noms. Overall, I can say for sure that we will NOT be coming back to this KOA next time we're in town

Gerry Z.

Yelp
Sites at park were very tight, Barely any room to open slides and next to impossible to enjoy picnic tables or put out furniture. Most staff personnel were okay & helpful, except for Gino who was very rude & unfriendly. Park was maintained but still very dusty. Pets are allowed but are restricted from the few grass areas in the park. Pet areas consisted of sand & dust. Bathrooms were fair - average showers without separate dressing areas and only somewhat clean. So-go was spotty & difficult to get on & stay on. For the price, I would recommend considering other parks in the area.

Yelp
The park all and all looks clean and cared for except the electrical pedestal. The electrical box has NO SAFETY GROUND. It did have 114 volt AC but our camper van has an electrical management system that picked up an open ground fault so no power could be used at our site. We had water and a shade tree so decided to stay for two night. The disheartening thing was talking to the manager who said he had been doing electrical work for twenty years. The man said his guy fixed the ground problem but that was a lie. The manager did nothing but blow me off. Used the Covid mask bullshit to chase me out of the office. We won't be back and the wi-fi does not work. The Brew Pub near by was nice. Good luck you may need it at KOA NORTH EAST.

Yelp
Poor management policy regarding cancellation refund policies during the balloon festival. As a KOA VIP member for more than 6 years I've never had an issue with any KOA cancellations or changes until now with the Bernalillo KOA Journey. I cancelled 6 months prior to the reservation date and there was no exception for a KOA VIP member. POOR management policy.

Yelp
We have stayed at this KOA several times as it has been a quick getaway weekend. However, this stay was completely different and we won't go back. The office staff was kind and did to their best to help us. The men in the golf karts were extremely rude. We were having problems and instead of asking if we needed help we were yelled at not once but three times. We were already stressed with our situation and could have used the kind hospitality that this KOA and others are known for.

Shauna P.

Yelp
Stopped here overnight on our way to Colorado. We arrived late but our packet was in the night drop box. The basic cabin was clean and they left the light on for us. The box unit air conditioner kept the room cool all night. The restroom and shower facilities were relatively clean. The price was right for a quick overnight stay on our way to Colorado.

Ian G.

Yelp
Sites are not level. All sand, dirt and pebbles that get blown everywhere. Sites very tight. Cannot open awnings as trees in way. Space between rigs maybe 8 feet. Not long enough for big rigs. Lanes tighter. 3 accidents while we stayed there for 3 nights that we saw when people parking on site and guided by KOA golf cart. No apologies to anyone. Misleading info on pool. Their own leaflet says may. Koa website says may 15. It's neither. Labor Day at best. When we queried at checkin, told you can have full refund and go elsewhere!

Yelp
This place is like staying at grandmas house, if grandmas house were a campground. Grandma takes care of the place, everything is clean and you can feel she puts her heart into it. It's also a little outdated and quirky, but in an endearing sort of way. I'm pretty sure we broke a rule when we parked 3 cars in one tiny campsite, but Grandma was too sweet to say anything and let us youngsters get away with it. One thing Grandma did put her foot down with is making sure we checked out on time, no using the restrooms to shower and get ready after check out time. Totally understandable. No one wants to disrespect Grandma, that wouldn't be right. For real though, we stayed here while driving from Los Angeles to Arkansas with 4 adults and 3 kids and we loved it. It's an adorable and cheap little pit stop and you can tell whoever runs it takes a lot of pride in it. If we stay in the area again we would definitely stay here.

Molly S.

Yelp
If you want to use the dump station at this location in Bernalillo, NM, be aware that the dump station is located in the middle of traffic flow. The trees beside the dump station are never trimmed by the KOA staff. The trees overhang the road where the dump station is located. When we have used this dump station previously, we had to trim the trees so that we could get our rig close enough to the dump station and still allow space for other campers to drive to their sites. Today we tried to use the dump station, but the trees are again in need of trimming. Because of the trees, we could not locate our rig out of the traffic pattern, and the staff would not allow us to trim the trees so that we could back up out of the traffic pattern; therefore, we were not able to use the dump station. We were refunded our dump station fee and traveled to the Route 66 RV Park in Edgewood, NM, where they do not have trees overhanging the dump station, there is plenty of room for your big rig to park temporarily, and other big rigs to drive past you, and the staff are more courteous to travelers wishing to utilize their dump station.

Rod B.

Yelp
Always a relaxing experience. Staff are helpful and good natured. Waiting for pre-pandemic activities to resume. Lots of activities to do on the property. Pool, playground, horseshoes...

Dianna M.

Yelp
Excellent park! Terrific staff, lovely pool, super clean showers and bathrooms. Very good laundry room. Lovely live and artificial grassy areas fabulous dog park, fun children's play area too! And it's all beautifully maintained! We loved it here and we will return! Very fun Brewery right off site, Kaktus.

Yelp
Was so bad I checked out with almost a full month paid for!!!!! Unsafe location due to crime. Stayed almost 5 weeks and at least 2-3 x's a week there were gunshots fired close by with of course police sirens and helicopters with searchlights after dark. Our first week here 9 rounds went off in the street on the opposite side of the park's perimeter wall at 5:20 am; called the office later that morning and Diane told us that it was from the firing range that was "in the valley so it echos here & that they must have been doing some night shooting"...WHAT??!! I confirmed that this was a blatant lie after speaking with a long term camper at a nearby site whom heard it too and actually called the police when it occurred.Staff overfilled our propane tank and caused a leak at our site, blamed us and we were forced to buy a new one.The pedestal was tripped upon arrival, we didn't question it but soon it fried the neutral bar inside our motorhome & we had to call a mobile repair whom stated it was the malfunctioning pedestal costing us almost 300$, again the manager blamed our main power cord and would not offer any help/compensation.The manager also called us before our original booking had ended & bullied us to pay for a longer stay which we paid and did not fulfill due to us having an emergency in which the manager (and his wife- whom should have no say in the matter) was heartless and gave no refund for. I will add that I believe we were discriminated against due to our ethnicity. Thank goodness we left that place! This park was my first and LAST KOA I'll ever stay at; after living the RV life off and on for 4 years with my family I feel like I am experienced enough to leave this review. I should have known better and stuck to non branded(?) rv parks. I made this review to hopefully save others from a traumatizing & EXPENSIVE experience here.

Tommy A.

Yelp
We use this place as a tune up stop before the camping season really starts. Making sure our trailer is in good working order. This place is always clean and the staff is always very nice and courteous. We have never run into any problems while staying here. (This will be our 8th year). An added bonus is the private gate that leads to Kactus Brewery. No driving required!!! Happy Camping!

Bruce M.

Yelp
The WORST customer service EVER at a KOA. The manager or whatever she is calling herself, older lady w/short hair needs to work on her customer service skills. Upon checking in, we were informed of a $5 fee per dog. It's not even about the money it's how she handled the situation. After asking her about the fee of which is no where to be seen, not even on their flyers they give out she couldn't tell us why a pet fee was being charged‍After asking again she said "they didn't have a button for it yet" She then went on to say she's worked at many KOA'S‍We've stayed in many KOA'S and NEVER have been charged a pet fee. We also talked to several other people in the park this morning who had pets as well and they weren't charged the fee‍Again, it's not even about the money, it's the principle of it NOW. On a positive note The showers are warm, spacious and well cleaned. Debbie did call us this morning to see if we were still interested in staying another night but this was well after the fact we had already left.

Gary S.

Yelp
This is a nice koa and I'll give it 4 stars...but if you think it actually has working internet, then no, it doesn't. It's memorial day weekend 2022 and the speed of downloads is roughly like the old dial up...newer generation, that means awful....perhaps a page loads in 5 to 10 seconds, perhaps 20 seconds, perhaps never. If we were staying more than one night we'd crank up the weboost, and AT and T hotspot. Your roku won't work very well either.

Colin L.

Yelp
Campground is tight for larger rigs and the pull thrus may not be level. Narrow and close together so your picnic table will be next to your neighbor's sewer. Avoid at all costs if you have a dog - we had a similar experience to another reviewer when our desperate dog went on the AstroTurf: he told us to leave and he was calling the police. We pointed out that we had been drinking and couldn't and he responded that he had been drinking too (unnecessarily given his breath). It scared our 8 year old that we had to wait overnight before we could leave. Other pertinent facts: 1 out of 3 showers was working and the RV dump is exactly next to the playground. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. If you have a pet absolutely do not come.

Diane W.

Yelp
The place is wEll-maintained, nice and clean. There are several trees for shade, even the fenced dog park has a shade tree. The pool area is old but well-tended, decorated with a nice mural of the Albuquerque area. We spent one night here on our way to our destination, very happy with our stay. Go have beer and a pizza at the little brewery next to the campground.

Cathy R.

Yelp
Convenient location, near great trails. Level spots, not much grass for dogs but cool play area. WIFI totally unavailable, very Ltd cable. no explanation. Great grounds upkeep, need to invest in tech to stay current.

D H.

Yelp
Beware travelers, while this is a lovely campground (very tight on space) it is undergoing major long term road construction along the entire length of the campground. The heavy pounding and loud rumble of heavy machinery starts at 6:45am. This also effects access into the camp. Be sure and ask if the construction is complete before spending time here M-F. Sept 5, 2016.

Wendy F.

Yelp
Was also given 15 minutes to leave by the owner and threatened that he would call the police this morning due to my dog pooping in this clowns beloved grass. We were leaving early anyway so him sputtering nonsense about me thinking my dog is more important than humans made no difference. Simply put the old weathered grumpy owner is a complete joke and does not like dogs. Quite frankly he's lucky I picked it up despite his telling us to leave and didn't throw it in the pool instead. That would have been a costly instance.

Lupe L.

Yelp
This KOA in Bernalillo was recommended to us...we love it, so we decided to stay an extra week... The ladies in the office are awesome, especially Susan, thanks for accommodating us... Super friendly and helpful workers...place is nice and clean ,showers are really nice, it has a laundry mat, swimming pool, a place outdoors where they show movies on the weekend (if there is good weather) ...would highly recommend this place...

Lynn B.

Yelp
Great location with good amenities. Especially like the not-so-s crew backdoor which leads to the Kaktus Brew Pub, which is also excellent and very Pet-friendly.

LaFonda R.

Yelp
One of the best I've stayed at. The staff was super friendly. Very good place for pets and kids. There's a nice child park and off leash Dog park. Super clean showers and restroom.

Chris H.

Yelp
Fantastic KOA, very clean and we really enjoyed the turf grass to sit and relax and enjoy the great weather. Lots of things for the kids to do and and a wonderful breakfast cafe on site.

Ian C.

Yelp
Cozy little place. I don't think I've ever camped in a campground this small. I reserved a tent site using their online process. The option I chose was for more privacy campsite on grass but a few more steps to the restrooms. I'm not sure if their online simply generically offers this option but not all locations have it. My site was not on grass nor was it greater privacy. The restroom and shower was fantastic and overall I feel like I got what I paid for- A low cost alternative to a hotel allowing me to make camp for a night passing through ABQ on the way to Dallas.

Diane H.

Yelp
A small KOA and a bit tight for big rigs but we did fine. Very clean and the staff was very nice as well

Gabriella N.

Yelp
Excellent campground and good price. Managers are super friendly, place is clean, nice pool, and there's a small restaurant/bar a 1 minute walk next to the grounds. There's even a little dog park so my pup could run around off his leash and meet some friends. My first KOA experience was a great one!!

Nieve F.

Yelp
Really great camp ground! Clean facilities and simple camping lots. Has a good little dog park and a pretty awesome pool. Friendly and helpful staff. What makes this place even better is the nearby brewery! A good place to stop and relax after a long day of driving. We would stay there again next time in Albuquerque!

Janelle D.

Yelp
This facility is getting a great makeover. It is still a work in progress but the campground will be fabulous when the improvements are completed. The wifi has been updated and works great and the cable service has a lot of channels. The owners are very meticulous with the way the grounds are taken care of and all of the employees that I have encountered have been very nice and friendly. I have stayed here 3 or 4 different times and I will definitely stay here again when I am in the area.

Anthony G.

Yelp
I was traveling through home to TX from CO and my 6 month old son started to cry. We were headed to a Rv site in Albuquerque that we had previously stayed at but decided that for my son's sake we would stop early and try to set up at another Rv park. KOA is supposed to be a friendly site with a great long tradition in Americana history... well I was severely disappointed. I pulled into the park and it was after hours. I began the process of finding a site then going up to the office to fill out paperwork. I have done this routine at other Rv parks before. I got myself caught down a tight corridor where there was a power hookup for two sites that were open but I was facing the wrong direction. As I'm scoping out how to back out of this one way path turn around and back into one of these two spots I'm approached by a man with a very bright flashlight pointed at me. I felt like I was on an episode of cops. He says, "what are you doing?" I responded "I am looking for a spot." He seemed confused by my response and asked if I stopped by the office and said that the two sites I had found were not sites at all. I felt there was some confusion and I pointed at the two spots clearly marked and the receptacles clearly marked and said I was looking for a spot and found these two. He said that you have to fill out the paperwork and then get your spot. Well I was so thrown off by the whole encounter and my predicament with my now full out screaming child and the fact the office was closed at this late hour, that I did answer shortly with the man and said I'm trying to find a spot and I found these two and of course I didn't go the closed office. He told me to "just back up and get out." I don't know what else could have been done here but the person I now believed was not a fellow camper helping out, but rather a "park host" or employee of some kind has ruined the KOA name for me for a while. I was always a fan of small mom and pop operators but now I'm hooked on them and away from the down right rude jerks at KOAs. Instead of realizing my issue of needing a site and not having one and being stuck down a tight path and helping resolve that to a satisfied camper he turned me into a KOA hater for months to come. I feel the only time I'll try a KOA is fully out of desperation. Good riddance.

R C.

Yelp
!!!COCKROACH INFESTATION!!! On the last night my family (wife, 10 month old son, and 6 year old daughter) were planning to have a seat and enjoy dinner after dark on the picnic table. This did not happen after the infestation of COCKROACHES crawled over my kiddos (TERRIFIED). This is absolutely disgusting!!! The picnic table and the turf were covered by these COCKROACHES. Again, absolutely disgusting!!! I did let the KOA employee at the front desk know in the morning. KOA Craig Blatt was aware of the cockroach issue and advised that he would give us a $15 refund. For sanitary reasons, I DO NOT recommend this KOA.

Josh L.

Yelp
I can see why other reviews say that the campground is cramped because it is, but other than that it's a wonderful place. Employees were very friendly, other campers were very friendly, and having the brewery next-door was a great way to get campers to get to know each other and have a great time. I would recommend this campground to campers in tents and RVs, the only downside is that there are no fire pits.

Michael K.

Yelp
We stayed here for two days in our 5th wheel with our large dog. The spring weather was awesome! Our site was level and we had no trouble hooking up the RV. They have nice facilities in general and the staff was pleasant. However, the access to the park is hard to see (probably near impossible at night) and the RV's are as close as we've experienced. Getting in and out when the park is full can be challenging. The park has small designated off-lease dog areas, but little else for canine visitors. The roads and sites are gravel and the few grass areas near our location where all off-limits to dogs. The location of the park is great for touring Albuquerque and convenient for an overnight stay when traveling. However, if you plan to spend time at your rig, or you have a dog, we would not recommend this park.

Yelp
Like all KOA's this one was very clean and very friendly. But they went so far above the normal. At the end of our 4 week (7,500 mile) road trip, I became very sick and ended up in a hospital in Albuquerque just 2 days from home. I spent 2 nights in the hospital and my husband spent 2 nights at the KOA with our twin 6 year old boys. They upgraded to the 1 room cabin (he didn't want to deal with a tent and everything else alone). This KOA had wifi, a pool, activities and so much more. When the owners knew about my family's situation they were constantly checkin with him and give activities to the boys. I really appreciate their concern and attention! I would stay here again anytime!!

Yelp
Infested with cockroaches. They were everywhere! My kids were traumatized and never want to camp again. We left and got a hotel.

Yelp
Nice place! Everything is clean and neat as a pin. Lots of kitschy little touches (signage, decor). Staff was very welcoming. Hot showers and music piped into the bathrooms. This is a small campground in the middle of a large city. The tent/small RV sites are great. They are of good size and fenced on 3 sides which gives these sites unparalleled privacy. Every campground should do this. Can't stress this enough.!! Cabins looked very quaint, playground was a good size, pavilion area nice. Didn't notice pool. Re: previous post I can see where the big rigs might be challenging to park but I can't imagine that parking one is every without its challenges. I agree that the "dog park" area is small (we have two large dogs), maybe 2 1/2 to 3 parking spaces long x two wide? Definitely could have been bigger but was ample, shaded and had tires to go though and things to climb on as well as a picnic table for humans. The campground is right in the middle of all kinds of restraunts and delivery numbers are listed on park info sheet. There is also a brewery/pub located right next door and a lighted path to same. Bottom line? You can tell the owners really care about the place and their guests. We'd stay here again.

Yelp
Level sites, nice amenities, and great employees. This is a smaller campsite that feels a bit like a trailer park with a few RVs and trailers that appear to have been here for quite some time. Overall this is a great place to stay, if we are in the area again passing through into Colorado we will definitely stay here again.
